Spiritual Awakening: Zig Ziglar Leaves Legacy of Inspiration
It was abou 10 AM on 11/28/12 when the news came across the wire that Zig Ziglar, The Great Motivator, made his transition at age 86. His lessons will live on for many years as they have been written and recorded and they will resonate as they make sense. Think about the first quote as it shows us that we can be great if we get started. The 2nd quote is so very true as the law of reciprocity is true. The idea of being motivated everyday is importnat as it propels us to success. As I reflected on Zig Ziglar’s teachings I began to think about the idea of being inspired and inspiring others.
On way to inspire others is to do good deeds. By helping others you begin to find yourself as you find a joy in the knowledge that your act of love and kindness enhanced someome’s life. One of the good deeds that I do each year is particpiate and emcee The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton. It is my hope to inspire people to support this effort and have them visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogglederman and make a donation. The good deeds we do will last long after we are gone. I have asked in past entries what will your legacy be? Zig Ziglar’s legacy was one of hope and inspiration.
Self discovery is a great way to find your talents to use to be inspired and to inspire others. If you have a great smile share it and see what happens. It is when you begin to be your authentic self that you are able to enhance your life and then enhance others. Write down I am Great, I make a difference in my life and other’s lives, I give and receive, I shine a light wherever I go and begin to internalize these thoughts and watch your greatness come through.
When we carry gratitude in our heart abd find faith, joy, love, hope and peace we begin to inspire others as they see how we are behaving and the successes we are having and they want to do what we are doing. I recommend keeping a gratitude journal and writing what you are grateful on a regular basis and then seeing how the day goes. I also recommending saying thank you to all those who help you and then seeing how the vibration changes and how you feel better and tend to accomplish more.
These are the 7 fruits of spirit that have been explored in past blog entries and they play a major role in being inspired and inspiring others. Look at the ways these fruits are manifesting in your life and how they are enhancing your personal and professional life. I suggest that you write them down and place them where you can see them and then use them in your daily life.
As we remember Zig Ziglar let us continue to dream big and take action to find inspiration and inspire others.

What are your top inspirational moments?
Books have often helped to inspire: Here are 10 that I like.
many of these books are available through Hay House by clicking the link to your right. All commissions are donated to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
As you continue to be inspired and inspire others find the words, music, quotes, poems, bible verses, and people who will help you to draw strength and move forward in a positive direction of your dreams. As you look back on Zig Ziglar’s teachings apply what is being taught and then take notice of how things are changing. It is often when we dig down into ourselves that we find that greatness is our birthright and to find that greatness we must share that greatness with others. As you go about your day find ways to be an inspiration and serve as an example to others and then share your experience here under the comments section.
Be glad in the day and rejoice in it and make it a memorable day as younever know when god may call you home. Live in the moment and be the best you can be.
