The Best or Worst Of Times? You Choose
Many night I will watch the new and just simply change the channel realizing that there is a lot more good happening in the world then bad. True there are many challenges facing us, however we have a choice to look at this time as the best or worst of times. The news media reports unemployment of 10 % an the general public say oh that is so bad times are tough everyone is struggling. I look at it and say what if the news media reported that 90% of Americans are working and showed people out in the community spending money. In our life it is all how we look at things it is a choice that we make. We can have pit parties and say poor me times are tough or I am going to face the challenge head on and overcome the challenge. It is all a mater of perspective. Many times it is neccessary to look at things from a different angle.
Many times we are asked if the glass is half full or half empty? I say it is a glass of water get over it. Many times I say neither as it will still quench my thirst, or grow a flower, and if I add some soap I can wash my car. It is all how we look at things. It is when we choose not to judge and be in the flow that we can determine how precious the moment is.
In their song Best Of Times they sing about how the bad times can become the best of times. Many have risen from the ashes of despair and hopelessnese to thrive by making the choice to change the bad and challenging times and make them them the best of times.

Many times when you choose not to follow the crowd you make the most powerful choice that you can make. It is those who do unique things that are of service and value that imact their life and the lices of others. It is when you make the choice to take action and create a better world that your world becomes better. Many times it is a choice just to reach out and interact with someone that changes everything. I have always said it is when you look at how you can be of service and value that you gain the most rewards. Make a list of the times you did something without expectation of return and the joy that occured as a result. Many times though I am getting paid to emcee a gig I look for a way to deliver something more. Recently I was at an event and had someone start taking photos of me with my phone and immediately posted the photos to facebook with a caption and a link to http://main.acsevents.org/goto/acbd. The people that saw me doing this were amazed at how quickly I took action.

As I stated I choose to find the good in all sitiuations even when the situation seems to be tragic because in all tradgies there comes a chance to shift from tragic to triumphant. I have witnnessed so many people go from what many would call a tragic circumstance to a triumphant circunstance not because of luck or being in the right place at the right time but because of a choice to make it the best of times. The stories of triumph over tragedy are all around us. Making a positive choice many times is challenging a sthere will be many who question your actions. Do not allow those that doubt you to hinder you instead surround yourself with those that encourage and support your efforts.
