Okay where did your mind go with this title? I am not talking about the use of marijuanna or other substances to alter your thinking, I am talking about the use of stones and crystals to further your journey on your spiritual path. I first kearned about stones and crystals from Sonia Alexandra, who you can find more information about at www.stonehealing.com. By understanding stones ans chrystals you will be able to heal yourself and thus help to heal others.
One way to use the crystals(gemstones) is to carry them with you in a bag and each day cleanse them so as to increase their powers.

Cleanse and Charge Your Gemstones and Crystals
Crystals and Gemstones Need to be Cleansed As we work with our Gemstones; either to extract electro-magnetic energies to cleanse or introduce them to build support structure; some of the residue remains. Even if someone holds the crystal to simply admire it, a trace of their field lingers. These traces are not “bad” or “evil”, just as dirt is not “bad” or “evil”. However, the energetic impulse traces will affect the stones and, therefore, an accumulation needs to be cleansed away.
Cleanse any new stone or tool which you add to your collection with the procedure which follows. Then use the Programming Ritual to give intended purpose and power..
- Prepare a bed of Kosher salt on a tray (use sea salt if you prefer)
- Choose the Stone to be cleansed
- Select a glass or ceramic bowl to be used only for Crystal Cleansing
- Place a soft cloth- like a face cloth- in the bottom of the bowl to protect your stones from chipping
- Add some warm water to the bowl- half full (add 2 drops of lemon juice if the stone has been excessively handled)
- Address the Crystal— explain what you are about to do— place the crystal in the bowl of water
- With your cupped hand, gently pour the water over the crystal three times saying: “Gently Cleanse thee”.
- Let the Crystal soak in the bath- One Minute is fine- no longer than 3 hours- remove it, dry it completely with the soft paper towel
- Place your cleansed Crystal on the salt bed, called a Rest, in the Sun to dry completely saying:
“Be cleansed and charged. Be cleansed and charged; by the Power of Moon and Sun. Be cleansed and charged. Be cleansed and charged. So say I; this now is done.”
If time permits, leave your stone in the Sun and Moon for three days and nights. (No, it does not matter if the clouds hide the Celestial view… the powers are still there.)
Your Gemstone is now cleansed of all accumulations, its own natural and super-natural powers are balanced and re-charged and it is ready to work with you.
Gemstones and Crystals collect magnetic charges.The atoms of Gemstones and Crystals readily respond to the magnetic fields of the Cosmos, the Planet, people and things, transferring and transmuting energies. Reacting to charged ethereal, spirit-fields as well, they can assist us in attraction and communication with the unseen.
This ability to send and receive charges, thoughts and messages is how we are able to work with our Crystal Friends; but when these charges accumulate to an excessive degree, we must help to restore balance by cleansing and charging.
