We all have talents in us and for many these talents lie dormant until we find them and let them come out. Many times our talents come alive when we begin to find our passion and discover our purpose. There are times when the talents are there but due to fear or lack of encouragement we do not pursue the opportunity to use the talents. Many times we have natural ability and when used in a positive way our life improves. Discovering your talent and letting it come out takes an understanding of who you are and how you are expanding and growing.

Spirituality: Discovering Your Talents

When was the last time you did a talent inventory? Have you asked yourself what am I good at, what talents do you possess, am I investing in myself? I first discovered my ability as an emcee during a beautiful baby contest done by The Lighthouse Point Jaycees when I was asked to put my public speaking skills to work as their emcee. Over the years I discovered the voice I have as an announcer, a voice over talent, an internet radio show, a teleclass leader, and a speaker and have learned that when you are of service and value great things happen. I hone my talents by reading and studying information about my talent and then applying what I have learned. One key to discovering your talent is to look inside and listen to the messages you are receiving. Another key is to believe in yourself and continue to surround your self with others who believe in you.

Spirituality: Use Your Talents For Service

I am often asked why do you do so many free events as an emcee? My answer is because I use my talents to help others and am rewarded in many ways. I have done many events probono and as a result have received paying gigs in the future. I have also used my media and marketing relations talents by being of service and as a result have gotten a few clients to pay me for these services. Many times you will command top dollar because of your talents and the reputation that you have built with your talent. When you are of service and value to others you will find success by using your talents.
