Spiritual Awakening: How Strong Are You

I am often asked how strong are you? I answer I don’t don’t my own strength. As I began to read about those I will be honoring at The Spiritual Entrepreneurs Visionary Awards I began to see how therr strength and commintment made me stronger. I have chosen 44 individuals who exemplify strength in their passion for making the world a better place. I have met so many awesome people since I began to look for people making a difference in the lives of others.

A few years ago I learned about Terry Fox, whomis pictured here during his marathon of hope, where he walked across Canada to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. His story is portratyed in The Disney Movie, The Terry Fox Story. His determination inspired not only the people of Canada but throughout the world and a s a result The Terry Fox Foundation was formed.

Though I have not met Vince Papale I admire and respect him as he has overcome adversity in his life and now helps others to reach their full potential. He was not the biggest or strongest but he was the most determined and as a result was selected to paly for The Philadelphia Eagles and through harr work and a never give up attitude he made a mark as a terrific special teams player. Papale has battled colon cancer and today advocates for early detection. His story is portrayed in the movie Invincable.

There are many people who are showing strength in their community and inspiring others. When we focus on the good that is being done a positive shift occurs and great thngs start to happen.

Shirah Penn is known as Gramma Shirah and she is doing great work through her Enlightenened People’s Workshops and her blog at www.grammashirahsays.com and her community work with kids. Gramma Shirah was selected to recieve a Spiritual Entrepreneurs Visionary Awards because she has show strength in her passion to help others. her strength and courage shines a light on all that come into contact with Gramma Shirah. She truly exemplifies the spirit of a giving heart.

Deborah Angiolina shows beauty and strength through her www.way2happiness.com site where she helps people to step into their power and reach their full potential. She was selected to receive a a Spiritual Entrepreneurs Visioanry Award for her work with children and adults as she help them to reshape their belief system to create a positive life for themseleves and others.

I can not say enough about Michael Colanero. I first heard of Michael and his amazing Breast Cancer Awarness Body Painting Project when he appeared on my radio show. His strength in his conviction to help women who are fighting breast cancer is incredible. His project helps women with breast cancer build self esteem and regain their strength as a woman. Recently facebook banned Mike’s Photos and he has had to find other venues to show hos great inspirational work. This hasn’t discouraged him as he continues to show a strength for his mission. I am happy to be presenting Michael with a Spiritual Entrepreneurs Visionary Award.
