Spiritual Awakening: Growing In Place!!!
As I have been sheltering in Place since (3/16/2020) I have had the opportunity to look at things from a spiritual perspective. One thing that kept coming to me was the fact that while I was safe at home I have the opportunity to grow in place. I have been under some financial pressure as I have been furloughed from my job at Macy;s since April 1,2020. Thanks to the support of a few people I have made it through. I recently received my tax bill and thanks to the stimulus check can pay that. As I returned from the bank today (5/5/2020) I realized that now is the time to grow in place and look at how I can use my spiritual gifts to be of service and value to others. I have realized that I can forget everything and run and allow worry to consume me or I can face everything and rise by taking action and following my passion. I have an opportunity to continue to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually if I stay connected to GOD. IN coming home to GOD and allowing GOD to guide me I know I will be stronger in mind, body, and soul when this COVID-19 Crisis is over. By being at home it has given me the opportunity to strengthen my spiritual awakening by staying focused, being centered and grounded, and taking responsibility for where I am today. Part of growing in place starts with forgiveness.
It is when we forgive ourselves and take ownership of our past indiscretions that we can grow in place. When we sit in reflection we are able to let go of perceived mistakes and learn from them as we move forward on our spiritual path thus creating more peace, love, joy, and prosperity in our life. It is in answering our calling and coming alive that we can grow and make changes. In forgiving ourselves and others we can detach from outcomes and create a environment that allows us to grow and be a contributing member of the community where we work, live, and play. It is when we let go of the negatives that we can eliminate the blockages that have stopped us from thriving and reaching our full potential. GOD is forgiving and will show us mercy as long as we are doing the right things to praise GOD. After we forgive it is important to show gratitude.
In saying the words Thank You and showing gratitude you open up the channels to grow in place. It is said that you bloom where you are planted by appreciating what you have and assuming an attitude of gratitude. I have seen first hand what happens when you come from a position of gratitude as it shifts your vibrations to a higher level thus allowing the universe to deliver everything you desire. In focusing on my supporters and showing gratitude I have begus to find more bliss and abundance in my life. After we forgive and show gratitude then we must access where we are focusing our energy. We should look at if we are coming from lack or abundance. Many times all it takes to grow is a shift in perspective. I have learned that what I focus on expands so it is important to focus on the good while eliminating the bad.
In the last 7 weeks I have gotten back to the teachings of spiritual leaders like Don MIguel Ruiz and focused on growing in place.
On of the lessons that I have taken from The COVID-19 Crisis is that there is much good happening in our communities as people are beginning to awaken to the fact that we all need to find ways to be of service and value to one another. Now is the time to grow in place and understand that all that is happening for us is happening for a reason. Yes we have lost many people to COVID_19 but we also have seen people overcome COVID-19. WE have seen many overcome challenges and pay it forward. Now is our time to grow in place and realize that if GOD brought is to it God will bring us through it. Now is our time to wake up seek ways to show that service to humanity is the best work of life today. Namaste!!!
