Spiritual Awakening: Live For Today!!!
Today’s (6/7/2019) entry is dedicated to my DAD, Jack Lederman, who was called home to GOD on June 7,2018. My DAD taught me the importance of living for today. At the beginning of each month he would take action and pay the bills and inform me well we are good for another month. When my DAD passed I was devastated emotionally and didn’t know what would happen next. DAD passed without a will and I still haven’t done the probate paperwork as I have been scrambling to keep the condo, pay bills, and eat. I have set up a GO FUND ME PAGE at www.gofundme.com/help-jdogg-save-his-condo-and more and thanks to the generosity of others I have been able to get by and move forward in my efforts to be of service and value to others. As Father’s Day approaches my gift to my DAD will be living for the day making sure that I live my life in joy and that my life brings joy to others. Every day I have thought about my DAD as something has come up that has triggered a memory. Tonight (6/7/2019) I will watch The NBA Finals and I will think of how my DAD would watch games together and how many times he would encourage me to do a play by play or game analysis and then he would say where have I heard that before as the broadcaster would say what I had said a few moments earlier. The passing of my DAD into the spiritual realm we refer to as heaven has been a spiritual awakening of sorts as I have come to realize that you can live for today but you must also plan for the future and let go of the past in order to attract more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. In living for today you begin to seize the opportunities that are presented to enhance your personal, professional, and spiritual life.
As you live for today do your best to be a lifter and eliminate the limiting beliefs that may be blocking you from becoming spiritually enlightened as you move along on your journey toward self actualization. It is in staying motivated and showing gratitude that you will be able to shift from lack thinking to abundance thinking. I could still hear my DAD telling me that every day above ground is a good day. I miss sharing with him my daily exploits as he really enjoyed hearing about my days especially the days where I announced games. DAD and I often spoke about the parable of talents and how when you use a talent for good you will be rewarded. It was in our discussions of spirituality that we both grew personally, professionally, and spiritually. We would make it a point to connect daily just to make sure we were staying focused, centered, and grounded. I remember us sharing readings from Dr. Dee Adio Moses and Maryanne Morrissey and then sharing what we were grateful for today. These sharing sessions seemed to help us both move forward in our quest to be spiritually enlightened. Since my DAD’s passing I have done this by myself in hopes that I can continue on my spiritual path and move through the sadness and anxiousness that my DAD’S death has created. I have found some tools to keep me moving and removing the sadness and anxiety.
In using these books and meditating I have been able to work toward taking away the sadness and anxiety and I hope that those reading this entry will share the GO FUND ME PAGE and support me in my time
As I live for today I spend time speaking to my DAD in heaven wondering of he can hear me and then I receive some signs knowing that he heard me and that he would want me to continue to strive to be the best version of myself that I could be. My DAD would want me to live in the moment.
In living for the day and cherishing the moment we begin to open up channels to receive messages that when acted upon will move us in a positive direction toward creating the life that we desire. Since the passing of my DAD I want the simple things like the condo he and I shared for 8 years to be paid off, The Home Owners Association fees to be paid, to have steady employment and to inspire others. It is my hope to live for today while learning from yesterday and planning for the future.
Don’t wish for one more day live for today!!! Stay Positive!!! Namaste!!!
