Spiritual Awakening: Is It Real Or Is It Memorex!!!
Many years ago the use of cassettes was very popular to copy music or record presentations. One company had a campaign where they asked is it real or is it memorex. As I sat down to write this blog today (7/17/2018) I began to think that as action takers this is a question we should ponder for there are many people out there that are professing to be something that they are not. Through the spiritual awakening process we must be aware of those who are truly being authentic and those who are faking it until they make it. In his latest book, The 5th Agreement, Don Miguel Ruiz advises the reader to question everything.
In the last month I have learned to become more skeptical as my life has dramatically changed with the passing of my father and needing to seek ways to create a steady income so as to keep the condo that we shared for 8 years. As I have spoken to many people I have come to realize that most are blowing spoke and are making claims that they can not deliver on. In becoming a bit skeptical I have been able to make some changes so that my personal, professional, and spiritual life is enhanced. In finding my calling and coming alive I have been able to separate things into real vs fake just like Holden Caufield in Catcher In The Rye. In finding the true community advocates I have been able to further my effort to attack cancer from every angle. In detaching from outcomes and allowing things to flow as GOD intended I have been able to make a more solid mind, body, and soul connection. In removing the emotions and taking a deep breathe and stepping back and waiting fro the divine guidance I have been able to cope better in all situations that come my way. In understanding a basic fact of life that if GOD brought me to it GOD will bring me through it I have been able to become more in tune with my divine guidance system. In questioning and seeking answers I have been able to become more focused, centered, and grounded. In answer questions like did I live my life in joy today and did I bring joy to others today I have been able to find some more peace, love, joy, and prosperity in my life.
I have come to learn that much of what we see in our human existence is a grand illusion and how we react to it determines our vibration thus contributing to the level of our quality of life. In making a decision to be a lifter and to promote the idea of limitless beliefs I have began to differentiate between what I can can change and what I can not change and what serves me and what does not serve me so as to break through the illusion and to find the truth that lays within me.
I highly recommend this book as a way to build a relationship between you and GOD so as not to be deceived as you move along your journey toward spiritual enlightenment. As you walk through your own illusion and peel back your onion you will begin to clear blockages that may have been holding you back from walking in your truth and achieving the greatness that is your birthright. Remember you are a divine child of GOD and GOD wants you to prosper. Be aware of the messages that are being sent your way and take action on them as in taking action you will determine if your life is real or memorex.
When the storm of illusion passes you will find that you have more clarity and discernment. From day one we have been sold a bill of goods of what a good life is. This bill of goods is faulty as it does not include what your passion is and how you can follow your passion and fin what you consider to be successful. So many buy into the illusion that life is about the materialistic things in life when in life much of the materialistic things only clutter our lives and make things more complicated and thus interfere with our ability to evolve as spiritual beings. At the end of the day the wealthy and the poor are called home to GOD and all that matters is how they lived their dash.
