Spiritual Awakening: Speak Your Truth!!!!
As I reflect on the activities of this past weekend I realize that I had a spiritual awakening as I spoke my truth and through out all the fear of what people would say or think. As I was at The Festival Marketplace Antique Fair raising funds for The 2018 American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of Sunrise I had some encounters that didn’t evoke the reaction I imagined. I had one situation where I told a guy hey you are wearing a $1000 watch you can afford to donate a $1. Wow how he and the people he was with reacted is not what I expected they basically got angry and said because of that you get nothing.I simply bowed and said Namaste and then said a prayer for them out loud and they got angrier. It was at this time that I realized some people can’t handle it when you speak your truth. The good part of this is that someone overheard me asking for a donation and came to the booth and put $20 into the bucket. The lesson here is to speak and walk in your truth as you never know what may be directed your way. In becoming an action taker and speaking your truth you are going to encounter a few people that just can’t handle it. At the end of the day $84 was raised for The 2018 American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of Sunrise proving that when you speak your truth you get results.
In speaking your truth you will find it necessary to press on as you will find many people who just do not understand where you are coming from and why you are doing what you do. When you walk in your truth and speak your truth you vibrate at a high level that many will not resonate with as they have not evolved to your level of spirituality. When you encounter people who are negative simple take a deep breath and hold a special place for them and continue to be true to yourself. On Sunday (4/22/2018) I was at You Fit in Sunrise representing The 2018 American Cancer Society Relay For Life and they hadn’t signed up as a team yet as they said they would. They had been doing fundraising and had money to turn in so I went to the assistant manager and explained what had to be done and I was able to get them signed up and today (4/23/2018) I turned in the $93 they had raised. What was great about being at You Fit yesterday is that I was able to seek donations and plant the seeds for those who didn’t bring cash to the gym to make donations when they came again. I met a few cancer survivors and this reinforced the fact that I was doing what GOD had intended me to do and that is help those touched by cancer while also being of service and value to others.
Spiritual Awakening: Speak Your Truth: Lesson Learned!!!
On of the most important lessons I have learned during my spiritual journey is that GOD gave you talents and if you use those talents for good you will be rewarded. This is a truth that I have come to understand very well as I have been using my talents to help other people excel and to make a positive difference in the world. As a result of using my talents for good I have been able to do many good things while also manifesting some things into existence. I have come to understand that you must walk in your truth and speak your truth and commit to letting GOD guide you for GOD’S Plans are far greater that your own. I have also come to learn that if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it. In using your talents and getting rewarded you will ruffle some feathers along the way for there will always be haters, doubters, and naysayers who are jealous because you are taking action and doing things that they wanted to do and never did. These are the people who still have not evolved spiritually and have yet to get real with themselves thus they still have blockages to clear. I am the first to tell people that yes I can be obnoxious and aggressive but at the end of the day I can take solace in the knowledge that I was true to myself and to GOD and that I used my talents to be of service and value to others.
