Spiritual Awakening: Turning It Around!!!

As an action taker who finds myself on the go most of the time I have come to realize that of I am to be spiritually awake I must slow down so that I can turn things around. Such was the case today when I inquired as to my status as a n announcer for a team that I have worked with for 4 years. I was told that they weren’t going to have a DJ or announcer for their last 2 games. I was a bit disappointed as that took $200 out of my pocket as I was being paid $100 per game and now I have to find a way to make that up. This is what happens when you are a free lancer in the broadcasting world. As I reflected I turned to GOD and he sent me this song by The Byrds. It was at that time that I realized everything happens for a reason. This was GOD’s Way of telling me to not sell myself short and to find other opportunities where my talents would be awarded and respected. It was at that moment when another awakening occurred and I sent out text message to a few people who were interested in my services and I landed a few paying gigs.
When you decide to find the bright side in what is happening you begin to turn thing around and you win in the end. There is an adage that says when one door is closed another will open. This is so true and plays out many times in the spiritual awakening process. Sometimes your human feelings and ego get in the way because you allow yourself to feel under appreciated or disrespected and you stay in the situation because you are fearful of what might happen if you walk away. It is when you walk away from a situation that no longer serves you that you win in the end.
I have had to do some real deep introspection over the last few days to understand that much of what is happening for me is occurring because I have allowed it to take place. I have been worrying and this worry has lead to anger which has brought my spiritual vibration down so I decided it was time to stop worrying and change my tactics and thus turn things around. It was when I decided that it was time to detach and simply go with the flow and let things go and let GOD and a s a result guess what I was able to control the negative emotions and stay positive. It was at the point of letting go that I opened up the channels to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into my life.
Life will turn around as you awaken spiritually and realize that you are a divine child of GOD and GOD wants you to prosper and to prosper others. As you walk your spiritual path you will encounter challenges. Understand that if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it. These challenges may appear in the form of people you perform a service for who profess to be one thing when they are actually another thing. It is when you realize that the way things are and the way things should be are two different things that you can become more centered and balanced. I have faced many challenges and in the end it all comes down to trusting GOD and simply following his message to turn things around.

Spiritual Awakening: Tools To Turn Things Around!!!

One of the best things to do to turn things around is to assume an attitude of gratitude. Instead of me getting upset about not making $200 for the two games I would have done I decided to be grateful that I will have that time to put things in motion that will bring me much more that $200.
Practice forgiveness. Instead of being mad at someone who fired you at a job or someone who told you they were going to make a donation but didn’t or someone who said they would us your services and started to bu then decide to stop with a couple of games left forgive their actions as they may not have understood how their action affected you. Also you can forgive their actions because you know that in the end GOD’S Plan for You was greater than any plan you had.
Meditation is an awesome tool to have to help turn things around.
