Spiritual Awakening: Breaking The Rules!!!

As you begin to break free from the perceived societal norms during your spiritual awakening you will find yourself breaking many of the laws that have kept you from reaching your full potential. So many times we get boxed in by rules at work, school, or in organizations that we loose sight of our purpose to be of service of value to others while growing personally, professionally, and spiritually.  It is when we get rid of the box and decide it is time to break some rules that we are able to see positive impact in our lives and the lives of those  we come in contact with on a regular basis.  It is when you become an action taker and begin to break the rules that are confining you and holding you back you will see your life in a totally different light. Freedom comes when you begin to stop worrying and start doing.  How many times have you been told you can’t do something and you said I can do what I want as long as it doesn’t do any harm. I was out in the community today collecting donations to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays and I stopped into an office and the lady said we usually don’t allow soliciting  but since it is for cancer and you have a name badge on along with your official shirt we’ll pass the canister. As I left that office I thought how many people in that office are being held back because of the rules? I alkso9 thought how many are operating out of fear of losing their job?

So many times rules are put into place to stop us from being free thinkers  and action takers. Many  of the rules in place today need to be broken and thrown away so as to improve the quality of your personal, professional, and spiritual life.  I often see a no soliciting sign and I go into the business anyway because you never know who might be inspired by your presence and what you are doing. I often simply engage people that I don’t know, which I am told is not a societal norm, so that I can get to know someone and see how we can be of service and value to one another. The idea is to step out of the comfort zone that we have created by following rules and start to see how breaking rules will help us to reach a special level of spiritual enlightenment.  I am not encouraging you to break all the rules as if you did that chaos would ensue and that would not benefit anyone. What I am advocating is to break out the constraints of rules that do not serve you.
It is when we begin to break the rules that no longer serve us and adopt rules that are mutually beneficial to all that we are able to enhance our spiritual awakening and further our mission of living a life of purpose.  I often ask what would have happened if I obeyed the no soliciting signs? The answer is I most likely would not have raised over $1,000,000 for charitable causes in a 40 year period of time. I most likely would not have landed certain gigs and furthered my broadcasting career. The key is  to know what laws to break and what laws to obey. Being a rule breaker has its benefits but be prepared to face consequences.  When you face the consequences and learn from them you will find yourself developing more personally and spiritually.
In breaking the rules you will break out of the box we know as conformity and you will find by standing out you begin to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life.  Do not be afraid to do things differently. I wear my purple Converse Beat Cancer Sneakers everywhere I go and they begin a conversation. This goes against the societal norm of wearing conservative footwear when doing business. Someone told me the other day that wearing them with dress pants or a suit was unprofessional.  Said thank you for pointing this out and I walked away and 10 people made positive comments and ended up making donation to help with my efforts to plant the seeds of hope and healing for cancer patients and their families.  In standing out and breaking certain rules you will exceed your goals and get people talking.

 As you continue on your spiritual journey decide what rules to break and which ones to follow and remove the rules that do not serve you. Stay Positive!!! Namaste!!!
