Spiritual Awakening: A Funk Soul Brother!!!
As I reviewed my Facebook feed I saw a comment that read wishing you peace and light soul brother Jonathan. It was at that moment that I remembered this song by Fatboy Slim titled Funk Soul Brother. I began to think about what it means to be a Funk Soul Brother it means living in peace and sharing peace, love, joy, and prosperity. It mean being loving and caring in all you do. Being a Funk Soul Brother means standing up to injustice by using peaceful means and serving as an example to others that service to humanity is the best work of life. It means not allowing negativity to permeate your daily life. Being a Funk Soul Brother means walking in your truth by taking action that allows you to shine your light and illuminate the world.
There will be times when being a Funk Soul Brother has its challenges as your human side will want to override your spiritual side. It is at times like this that you must turn inward and be guided by your inner divinity so that you can live by the principles that have lead you to be a beacon of hope and healing for others. It is knowing that you can overcome any adversity that comes your way for if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it. It is when we begin to understand that we are all divine children of GOD and GOD has great plans for us that we can step into our power and become Funk Soul Brothers and Sisters. It is when we stand in our truth that we can overcome any obstacle that comes our way.
Sometimes when things seem the most difficult and being a Funk Soul Brother is challenging you have to simply take a trip to Funkytown and get your groove back. It is when you can tap into your inner divinity after what is perceived as something bad happening that you can get back to breaking the shackles and setting yourself free to be the person GOD means for you to be. Sometimes all it takes is a trip to Funkytown to get your head clear and to turn the page. It is said that when you are in rhythm that you vibrate on a level that attracts positivism into your life thus creating bliss and abundance. Yes some difficult things are going to come your way and you may not feel like facing them but the longer you wait to face them the longer it will take you to manifest the life you desire. It is time to face everything and rise and if that means a trip to Funkytown than take that trip and see what emerges as you refocus and follow your purpose knowing that greatness and prosperity is your birthright.
Sometimes it is necessary to dance the night away so you can become a better Funk Soul Brother. When you finish feeling The Rhythm Of The Night say your prayers and know that joy comes in the morning. When you are feeling the rhythm of the night make sure that you are dancing on GOD’S great dance floor so that you are honoring and praising GOD creating channels that will allow you to be open to receive GOD’S message so as to enhance your personal, professional, and spiritual life.
When you dance in praise and worship of GOD you will find a connection that makes it easy to become a Funk Soul Brother. As you dance remember to be your authentic self and to make the the mind, body, soul connection so that you can live a purpose driven life. Do not allow anyone to stop you from dancing on GOD’S great dance floor. When you are filled and guided by spirit and not afraid to dance you become a Funk Sole Brother that serves as a role model showing people that faith in god gives meaning and purpose to human life.
As you emerge as a Funk Soul Bother or Sister take time to take action and dance. Make it a point to make a joyful noise unto the lord as you move forward in a positive direction of your dreams.
As you commit to becoming a Funk Soul Brother or Sister remember that you are an overcomer. Remember that you can tap into your inner divinity and face challenges head on and become a stronger person of influence. Sometimes it is is the darkest hour that we begin to take the action needed to make our lives better by simply being of service and value.
