Spiritual Awakening: A Time For Hope And Healing!!!
As I left work on Friday I was stopped at a red light when my car was rear ended. I got out of the car and the guy that hit me said pull over there and I’ll give you my information. Well without thinking I moved my car. The guy left the scene of the accident. I called the police but when told that they couldn’t do much without a tag number I decided not to file a report. As I drove home I prayed that this person would not hurt anyone else or any property. I kept thinking now is a time for hope and healing and to start a movement where people do the right thing. When I arrived home I went to Youtube and played this Matthew West Song. I asked GOD for more peace, love, joy, and prosperity in my life. I asked that GOD also keep me connected to my inner divinity so that I can stay on a path that leads to hope and healing. Over the weekend I worked at Sinbad Sports and decided to make every encounter a positive one. I shared with customers why I was limping a bit and a little slow on the up take and they were very understanding. I could have decided to be mad at the world because of what transpired on Friday but I decided to let go and let GOD. As a result had 2 good days. I then decided to recommit to praying every day and to remind myself that I am a divine child of GOD and if GOD brought me to it GOD will bring me through it. In deciding to take action to be a vessel that represents hope and healing I have been able to move forward in a positive direction of my dreams. I have come to understand that by be a living message of hope and healing I can have a positive effect on the lives of those that I come in contact with and as a result of shining my light I have the ability to allow others to shine their light and before we know it we are illuminating the world.
Wouldn’t it be great if for a day we could turn off all the negativity and tune into the positive and begin to recognize the divine that lives in all of us. We as brothers and sisters of GOD need to look beyond the outside forces that are working to create blockages and look inside and understand that we can all be vessels of hope and healing by realizing we are more alike then different. The beauty of embracing diversity is that it leads to hope and healing and as a result our world becomes a better place. We all have the power to make a positive impact on this world and it is our duty to show others that service to humanity is the best work of life. It is our responsibility as spiritual messengers to show people what they can do instead of what they can not do. Instead of condemning people and fighting among ourselves we need to get back to following the principles of Don Miguel Ruiz and The Four Agreements.
Imagine if this was posted in every school, in every municipal building, at every work place and taught as a universal way of life what the possibilities can be. If we create a dialogue that comes from a position of peace, love, and understanding we will create a time filled with hope and healing. Imagine if we put down all of our electronics and simply started to talk to one another in a civil respectful manner what type of world we could create. If we are to truly make this a time for hope and healing we must resolve to stop hurting one another and to start helping one another. We must start to do things with great love and create an environment where people begin to show that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations. We must commit to respecting life and eradicating social injustices by getting to know our neighbors, supporting our local businesses, and becoming conscious that our actions can move us into a period of time that will lead to hope and healing.
