Spiritual Awakening: Changing The Lock!!!

As I completed a meeting earlier today (6/29/2016) I had what could be considered another spiritual awakening as I realized that sometime you have to give something up to gain so much more. I was very attached to collecting donations at a special event as was told that the organizers didn’t want me to do this but that I could collect at other events that they sponsored. I had this big mental lock as I couldn’t understand why the city would say no to this but after a great discussion I changed that mental lock from resistance to acceptance and began to see the big picture. At the same time I was told that HOOTERS and Twin Peaks could not be endorsed by the 501-c-3 organization that I was working but that I could do an independent fundraiser as long as I didn’t promote it as this organizations event. I again was upset as I believe in engaging all those that want to help. I again changed a lock and opened up to where the organization was coming from and decided to simply go with the flow and follow their protocols. I will still be doing a fundraiser with Hooters in October and will be donating the money to the organization. I learned that sometimes you just have to do things the way others in perceived power want you to and follow their protocols.

It is when we change our mindset and stop thinking that our way is the best way that we can change our mental locks and grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. I have come to learn through all the spiritual awakenings that we must change our attitudes and latitudes so as to gain a better perspective on how we can live a life of purpose. In many cases you must be willing to change and accept that which you can not change and do the best you can with the tools you have. In changing the locks you remove blockages that may hold you back from becoming a powerful being capable of doing amazing things. Over the years I have come to understand that the way things are and they way things should be are 2 different things. In understanding this I continue to change the mental locks and change the way I do things. As I continue to expand my understanding and detaching from outcomes I continue to rise to a new level of spiritual and personal development.
It is when we look at the big picture that we can change the world. In my case it is about creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays and being passionate with my message so that it resonates and attract supporters. I have learned that I need to tone my passion down at times as not everyone will share my views or do things the way I do things. In many cases it is a matter of unlocking that inner divinity that lies within us to allow ourselves to be guided by GOD and to understand what can be done differently that will serve us so that we can be of service and value to others. I learned today to be open to receive and to look at the big picture as it wasn’t about losing an opportunity to collect donations it was about gaining more opportunities to collect donation and share a message. The times they change and our mental locks must be changed on a regular basis.

As I sat in reflection I began to realize that everything happens for a reason. I may have been told no about collecting at one special event and I may be disappointed but in the long run it may lead to a better opportunity as the organizer will allow me to have a booth where people can make donations and this will present a a perception of professionalism that the organization is seeking. Today I learned that though I may not agree with some of the decisions made I must accept them and change the lock from disappointment to opportunity. It is when we realize that there is a time for everything that we are able to better live a life of purpose and thus achieve great things. So today I may leave some money on the table but when it is all said and done it will be recouped in other ways.

Remember that as you travel along your spiritual path that you are evolving and that the times they are a changing. When things get tough for you to move forward and change your mental locks take a moment and remember the serenity prayer.

It is when we turn to GOD, The Angels, and The Ascended Masters that we can make the necessary changes to unlock the realm of possibilities that allow us to step into our power and achieve the greatness and prosperity that is our birthright.

One of the best ways to change your locks is to open up your heart and balance your chakras thus allowing yourself to heal yourself and thus heal others. It is when you open your heart and mind and change your locks that your life changes.
