Spiritual Awakening: Rock Your World!!!
When you commit to taking action and getting on your spiritual path you also need to commit to rocking your world. The first step to rocking your world is to look at what is serving you and what is not serving you. Evaluate people and things and ask the question is this serving me and helping me to achieve a greater good. If the answer is no then eliminate that person or thing. Sometime we hold on to people or things and we actually hold ourselves back from reaching the pinnacle of our life. The idea is for you to make your own highlight reel and not worry what others may think. In doing things differently and rocking your world you are going to have detractors and those who don’t understand. The simple fact of life is to flow with that which serves you and allows you to walk in your truth and enhance your personal, professional, and spiritual life.
When you choose to rock your world and to walk in your truth you will unleash your inner champion. In becoming a champion you will rock your world as you make a mind, body, soul connection thus taping into a divine power that will guide you toward the greatness and prosperity that is your birthright. I have found that when I am focused on shining my light and illuminating the world that nothing can stop me from rocking my world. I have cone to understand that there will be people that do not appreciate your talents and will use their perceived power to block you it is when this happen that I remind myself that I am a divine child of GOD and GOD has great plans for me. I also remind myself that at the end of the day all that truly matters is did I live the day in joy and did I bring joy to others. I further remind myself that all I have to do is please myself, walk in my truth by honoring and praising GOD and everything will work out. To be a champion and rock you world stay connected to GOD and his plans are far greater than yours.
As I was reflecting today (4/20/2016) I began to realize that I have been rocking my world and spreading a great message showing people that service to humanity is the best work of life. As I looked through all the photos on Facebook I began to see that I have accomplished quite a bit in my 50 years on this earth. I have had some trials and tribulations but what hasn’t killed me has made me stronger. I began to reflect on all the great people I have had the opportunity to interact with be it through my radio show, my TV Show, Emceeing events, speaking at events, working in retail stores, or doing marketing and media relations consultations. It was when I embraced my spiritual gifts through a spiritual awakening that I began to truly rock my world. There were and still are people who don’t get me. I realized that it is not my job to drag people kicking and screaming to do things my way or to even show me the respect I deserve and that some people will be intimidated because you are doing things that they either have chosen not to do or can’t do. In some case there simply will be people who try to hold you back because you are taking action and having success while they are still talking. I have seen that while many were speaking about writing a book I became a published author with featured chapters in Sources of Wisdom Book 2 and Sources of Wisdom Book 3, while people were talking about fundraising I was actively fundraising and positively impacting the lives of others by being of service and value to others. Some spoke about service while I went overseas and showed the world that service to humanity is the best work of life by becoming a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in The Philippines. The fact of life is to decide that you are going to rock your world and walk your truth and not worry what other people will think for at the end of the day the only two people to please are yourself and GOD.
As I began to reflect on ways I have rocked my world I realized that my many accomplishments may inspire those reading this blog to rock their world. I have met some great people while rocking my world be it in radio interviews, tv interviews, in my retail work, in my work as a marketing and media relations consultant or as a public address announcer. The thing I learned is to simply be me and realize that some will, some won’t, so what, some waiting, next regardless of my endeavors.
It is important to remember that you are free to be the person that GOD wants you to be so keep on rocking in the free world by finding ways to be a lifter and facing any obstacles that come your way. It is when you decide to just be the best you can be by rocking your world that you will discover a whole new world. Stay Positive Today!!! Namaste!!!
