Spiritual Awakening: Rising Above!!!
Today (3/25/2016) is Good Friday, marking the day that JESUS was taken to Calvary and was nailed to the cross and his blood flowed down Calvary washing away the sins of man. On Sunday (3/27/2016) many will celebrate Easter marking Jesus’s rise from the grave. As I think about this holiday and the spiritual awakening process I am receiving the same message over and over and that is RISE ABOVE. I ask rise above what and I am told rise above all that doesn’t help others. The big question is how do we rise above?
One of the ways to rise above is to pray and to hear the messages from above and then to take positive action on those messages. It is said that when 2 or more are gathered in his name that GOD is present so find a few people that you can gather with and say a prayer for hope and healing for that which is ailing you.Pray that any blockages that are holding you back are removed so you can rise above and positively impact your life and the lives you come in contact. Remember it is when you do for others that you are rewarded.
I have found through my own spiritual awakening that when you let go and let GOD that I am in a better place mentally, physically, and spiritually and thus I am able to rise above any challenge that comes my way. When you walk with GOD and faith knowing that no weapons formed against you shall prosper. I am reminded of a time when I decided that I was going to rise above cancer and go out collecting donations. I put the bible in one hand and a collection canister in the other along with some Relay For Life literature. As I walked into one business I was asked what book I was carrying I showed the gentleman that asked that it was The Bible. He said I must support your cause you have a weapon with you. I never thought of The Bible as weapon but more as basic instructions before leaving earth. That day I was very successful with my collection and was able to help many to rise above cancer. I now carry my Bible with me in my car wherever I go so that if I need extra help to rise above I can find it and be reminded why I am so dedicated to being of service and value.
When we begin to understand that if GOD brought us to it GOD will bring us through it that our life becomes more beautiful. We may question why GOD allows certain things happen like a terrorist attack in Brussels or senseless murders, however we must understand that there are important spiritual lessons to be had in all events that we are exposed to that will help us to rise above. From every tragic event come stories of triumph. It is when we begin to heed the lessons contained in events that we may find tragic that we evolve as a people and begin to realize that GOD really wants us to love each other and to spread kindness and love where ever we go it is when we rise above that we move closer to spiritual enlightenment. I am reminded of the day my mom was called home to GOD, July 5, 2012 and I though this was a tragic personal experience and wondered why a vibrant, caring, loving, and supportive women would be taken from me? The answer was that she could guide me better as and angel in heaven then as a human here on earth. I know that I can communicate with my MOM at any time and she can serve as my link to the angels, ascended masters, and GOD. In learning this I have been able to rise above and move forward in my quest to help other people to excel and create lives filled with much peace, love, joy, and prosperity. I have come to understand that every occurrence we experience is given to us for a reason. It is when we began to understand things are happening for us not happening to us that we can rise above.
When we make the commitment to rise above we set in motion many experiences that will allow us to shine our light bright so that we light up the world. It is when we come together and rise above all the challenges and begin to understand that we are more alike than different that we make our world a better place.
