Spiritual Awakening: Do You!!!

 I have stated many times that at the end of the day all that matters is that you were true to yourself and honored GOD through your actions. This week I was tested a little when I did something that many would find unconventional as I reached out to a sponsor of The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Sunrise, FL to be a guest on my TV Show, The Anything Bucket, which airs on www.wrpbitv.com on Tuesday at 6:30 PM. I thought as a business owner he would have like the fact that I reached out to him, BOY was I wrong he didn’t call me instead he called the Fundraising Lead for this Relay and complained. The Fundraising Lead then wrote to me and said I couldn’t solicit sponsors to be on my show. In me doing me I wrote back to her explaining that I had every right to invite people to be on my TV Show and that if the gentleman had an issue he should have called me. I was upset so I decided to take a few minutes and breathe and then meditate. The message I received in mediation was to do you. I have also come to realize that all you can do is do you and let others do themselves.

As I came out of mediation I remembered this teaching and realized that by me doing me I will encounter many that simply do not understand. I have always done things unconventionally and have had much success and thus as I evolve more and more in my personal, professional, and spiritual life I understand that not everyone is going to resonate with me and be a lifter.  I have come to understand that when dealing with people on project you must understand where they are coming from and allow them to do themselves while you do you. I have come to realize that it is when you follow your heart and honor GOD and do you that everything work out in the end.

It is when you do you that you begin to realize that you are a divine child of GOD and GOD want you to be authentic and true to yourself and him and thus you begin to create the results you desire. It was important for me to realize that not everyone will see that you are coming from a position of love and caring with a genuine desire to help others excel and when you encounter people that have issues with you is to simply let go and let GOD and move forward in a positive direction of your dreams by simply being your authentic self and doing you.

 As I had challenges doing me this week I came to realize that if the people you are trying to assist do not appreciate you it is time to move on and turn the page because you should be going where you are celebrated not tolerated. Eventually the people you gave control to by trying to please them will realize that you were an asset to them. People do not appreciate something until it is gone. It is up to you to do the things that bring you peace, love, joy, and prosperity simply by you doing you.

 I have learned that it is important to just do you and let things go and let GOD because in seeing the big picture you can find success. In understanding that you can not control how people will react to what you say or do and that all you can control is your own response to their reaction you will grow personally, professionally, and spiritually.  It is not ours to answer why but to shine our light for others to see and hopefully empower and inspire them.

In my spiritual awaken I have come to understand that you will not get along with everyone so hold a special place for those who may question, hate, condemn, or pull a power play and pray for them that one day they be enlightened and realize it is not about being right or wrong but it is about doing the right thing. In the end all you can do is do you and not worry about what others will say or do. If you follow your heart and GOD you will be okay.

In doing you it is important to remember that you are simply the best.  Also remember that you are divine child of GOD with a divine purpose and no one can take that away from you. Do you and be the best today. Namaste!!!
