Spiritual Awakening: I Did It On Purpose!!!

I am asked many times through out my fundraising campaigns for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life why I do what I do. My answer is usually I do what I do as it is part of my purpose to be of service and value to others. I have learned that doing things on purpose is very important and finding your why is equally as important. Each day when you awake and you become more aware of your purpose you should begin to find ways that will nourish that purpose. When I awoke this morning (1/9/2016) I knew I was going to ship birthday gifts to my brothers Joshua and Richard and that I was then going to collect donations for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Sunrise, FL. each step was going to have a purpose as I was working toward my goal of raising $1000 to honor the memory of my mother who was called home to GOD on July 5, 2012 after suffering a massive heart attack while battling inoperable metastatic lung cancer. Each time post http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg3 asking for donations it has a purpose to honor my mother’s memory and to help all those touched by cancer. With each step I took today I was reminded that my purpose was to share Relay for Life with others and that regardless of whether people donated or not that my purpose to plant the seeds of hope and healing for cancer patients and their families was the most important aspect of my walk. As I hit 2.10 miles I decided to stop and take a break at my local Starbucks. It was at that point that I realized another purpose and that was to share positivism so that someone reading this entry would be uplifted and encouraged to do things on purpose.

It is when we find our purpose and then take action to fulfill that purpose that our lives begin to improve personally, professionally, and spiritually. It is when we realize that there is time for every purpose under heave that we are able to better coexist with everyone and as a result bring forth peace, love, joy, and prosperity. Many times we get caught up with fear of what will other people think that we create blockages in our purpose and thus hinder our growth. I do things on purpose and detach from the thoughts of other people because at the end of the day the only one I have to answer to is GOD. I have learned when you seek the answers from GOD he will guide you to meet your purpose for he knows the plans he has made for you and he wants you to find success and happiness.

When you tap into your inner divinity and create a oneness consciousness you will see that GOD plan is to have you live a life of purpose. You are a divine child of GOD with a purpose to shine your light bright using your talents for good so as to make the world a better place. When you embrace your purpose you will see just how your life begins to change and improves. There is an old adage of plan your work and work your plan. I added and let GOD guide you to your purpose to that as it is when we realize that GOD is in control and not us that we are able to enjoy the fruits of spirit by living a life on purpose.

When we are mindful of living a life on purpose and we become aware of our fruits of spirit and embrace them we can create the life we desire. It is when you make that divine connection to GOD that you can feel fulfilled as you do things on purpose.

As you sit in meditation and prayer enjoy this song and seek the answers to the questions you ask and begin to live your life on purpose. It is when we receive the messages from GOD with an open heart and mind that we are able to live a life on purpose.

There are two great days in your life the day you are born and the day you figure out why. When you find your purpose and your why you will begin to make a mind, body, soul connection that will lead you further down your spiritual path toward enlightenment.
