Spiritual Awakening: What Ya Gonna Do?

In the spiritual awakening process we learn that if we are to create a life filled with much peace, love, joy, and prosperity we must take action. In taking action we must put GOD first and do the things that will honor him and praise him.  We must check our ego as ego is edging GOD out and allow GOD to direct us. As we awaken we  must commit to doing the things that will be of service and value to others that also enhance our personal and professional life. We must not only be accountable in our own eyes but in the eyes of GOD. We must realize that we do not have to gather in a mega church to worship and fellowship but we must gather to praise and worship GOD and do something to alleviate the pain and suffering that many are going through.

One great thing to do is to find people to gather for praise and worship and then to designate a cause to support like The American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of West Boca Raton, http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 and then to go to hospitals oncology wards and comfort the patients and their families. Find your purpose and find others who share your purpose and who will lift you so that you can lift others. If you want to affect change you must look at what the problem is and then come up with a spiritual solution and implement the solution.  It is when you come alive and shine your light and bring the community together that you will be in the presence of GOD and GOD will place you in his favor.

Each morning when I awake I thank GOD for another day and for watching over me, my friends, and my family. I thank GOD for guiding me and allowing me to use my talents for good. In following GOD and implementing his messages I have been able to find an inner divinity and make a connection that had led me to be a bit more peaceful when dealing with people. I will admit I still have some anger issues to work through however each time I take a step back and breathe and pray for myself and the person who was making me angry things work out for the best. I have come to learn that if GOD brings you to it he will bring you through it. I have learned that when you are righteous and connected to GOD that he will open doors to all types of possibilities. It is what you do with the opportunities tat determines how many more GOD will put in your path.
 One thing I am resolved to do is to stop comparing myself to others for I have ample accomplishments that stand alone by themselves that have enriched my life and the lives around me. I often find myself beating myself up because I see someone raising a lot more money than me and then I stop and find a quiet place that I can make a sacred space for the moment and realize that I am doing my part and that it is not about the awards but about the journey and the knowledge being gained by helping others. I have  come to understand that each time I take an action to glorify GOD by helping a cause I grow personally, professionally, and spiritually and at the end of the day it is not about what others have done it is about what you have done knowing you gave 100% and honored GOD while doing the deeds that will touch lives long after you are gone.

One thing I know that I am going to do is to be less boastful.  I will do my good deeds not in search of recognition but search of knowledge and growth gained by helping other people excel.

 I have  come to realize that GOD knows my name so one thing I must do is understand that I already saved and loved by GOD and that I am enough and that GOD sees me as complete and whole. I used to chase fame and fortune and then I realized that the fame and fortune comes when you do things to honor and praise GOD.

I pledge to help those touched by cancer and to shine my light bright for others to see so that my actions will create a ripple effect and make the world a better place one person at a time. Ask yourself today what you gonna do when the spirit of the lord fills you? Stay Positive!!!
