Spiritual Awakening: Anger Be Gone!!!
In the spiritual awakening process sometimes we transgress on our path so that we can can get refocused and understand that the path we walk is guided by GOD and sometimes GOD put challenges in front of us so that we can grow in mind, body, and spirit. Sometimes along our path we encounter those that are not as enlightened as we and thus conflict can created leading to anger as our human side begins to interfere with our spiritual teachings. This was the case on Super Bowl Sunday (2/1/2015) when I entered the big card room in my clubhouse to share information about POINTS FOR THE CURE FOOTBALL EDITION where people would pick The Patriots or The Seahawks and after the game visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 and donate $.25 (25 cents)per point the team they chose scored. The money raised would be donated to The American Cancer Society Relay For Life to help cancer patients, their friends, and their families by funding research, education, advocacy, and services. I though since I live in a 55+ community where most everyone knows someone touched by cancer that this idea would go over very well. Boy was I mistaken the minute I stepped foot in that room you could feel the tension you would have thought I was taking their condos away. They jumped all over me saying this wasn’t appropriate, they were not interested, and this is a private party. I felt the anger but instead of walking away I violated the spiritual teachings and got angry and confrontational. This really upset me because I know better and I know that when you take action and follow your passion you will encounter resistance. I also know that what you focus on expands. All through out the day today their was a weight on my mind, body, and soul because I felt that I went against all the teachings of GOD, Jesus, my angel guides, and the ascended masters. It was at about 7:00 PM that the pain started to subside as I went outside into nature and asked JESUS to forgive my trespasses and to remove the anger I was holding onto. I then meditated and asked the anger to be gone. As I came out of the meditation I realized that I can not go back and undo what was done yesterday but I could commit to moving forward and becoming a better version of myself. I then reminded myself that sometimes the best thing to do is to simply walk away and not interact with people who appear to have negative energy. I must remember that many of the people where I live are on a very low budget and are coming from a mental position of lack and because of their mental beliefs they are angry and bitter and all I can do is pray for them. I have learned that I must shine my light and remind myself t remove the anger I may be feeling as a result of loss.I also must remind myslef that I can not take things personally and get to attached to the outcome.
The thing that helped me today to allow the anger to be gone was something that I learned while serving as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in The Philippines It is to allow things to unfold as GOD will take care of everything. I realize I do not have to prove myself to anyone and that their will be many that share my beliefs and my desire to help those affected by cancer and there will be those who do not. I must focus on attracting and engaging those who lift me up, support me, and share in my desire to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
Spiritual Awakening: Tools To Remove Anger!!!
I have found Doreen Virtue’s meditations to be very helpful in clearing out the anger taht sometimes invades my personal and professional life.
I have found the greatest tool for removing anger is to consult the scriptures and then to sit in quiet contemplation seeking GOD to guide on your path that will lead to peace, love, joy, and prosperity.
Many times a walk in nature showing appreciation to GOD for the beauty he has created will relieve the stress and thoughts that have led to anger in the past.
Surrounding yourself with positivity is a great way to stay focused and grounded while removing anger from the equation. People are going to do things that might boggle your mind and might bring you to anger.It is that moment you must realize that getting angry is like wrestling a pig in the mud you both get dirty but the pig enjoys it. Do not allow the actions of others to impede on your happiness. I have learned that in the future it is best to say things like that is an interesting perspective and walk away for if you do not engage with the negative energy you have no need to be brought to anger.
Always remember that our days will be brighter. It is when we detach from those who do not serve us that we are able to move forward in a positive direction of our dreams. Remember you are a divine child of GOD!! Anger Be Gone!!! Stay Positive!!!
