Spiritual Awakening: In Your Face!!!
I can not tell you how many times along my spiritual awakening journey that I wanted to look at someone who was being negative or who responded to me in a negative way and say in your face. Understanding that people will not always resonate with me or do things the way I would do them has allowed me to not be confrontational and to continue in a positive direction of my goals and objectives in my personal and professional life.
If you are an avid reader of this blog you know my passion for raising funds for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton. While promoting and seeking donations recently I posted in a Jaycees Group and one of their members replied with this to my request.
you need to stop pushing this issue about donating. it is NOT GOOD TO SHOVE IT DOWN PEOPLE’S THROATS. if this is what you want to do then YOU DO IT PRIVATELY but DO NOT PUSH THIS ONTO OTHERS.

Hope this correspondence finds you having a great and prosperous day. Today 400 people will be told that they are cancer free and this will be great news. It is my hope to see this number increase and to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays by participating in and emceeing The 2015 American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of West Boca Raton. I am doing Relay to honor the memory of my mother who GOD called home on July 5, 2012 as well as those I knew that battled valiantly but were take from us, Gary Hillson, Fran Barash, Ed Bulger and numerous others. I posted about how I have raised over $30,000 for Relay For Life over the last 15 years through this technique. It was my way of saying in your face. I have raised $922 so far for The 2015 American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton. I felt like calling this person as I know them and saying in your face I am getting donations and on pace to raise $3000, however I did not as I knew this would not serve me well.
Instead I decided to put on a happy face and continue to take action by asking people to visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 and make donations. I also decided to focus on all those who are helping me to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. People like Louise Hay, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Serena Dyer, and Doreen Virtue who sent items to be used in the chance drawings. I also decided to focus on those who are donating and helping like my Dad, my business associates, friends, and strangers that have donated when I have been out in the community collecting.
In deciding to continue to shine my light and to assume an attitude of gratitude I have been able to move forward in the positive direction of my goals and say in your face to the negative people who find it necessary to make comments intended to bring me down and distract me.

By turning to scriptures you can combat the negativity that may try to invade your life. Sometimes just one response with a bible verse is just enough to allow you to say in your face.
Sometimes the best way to say in your face is to not respond at all and just say a prayer for the person who was bringing the negativity into your life.
One of the greatest tools to use to say in your face is the delete button. In deleting the negativity you can bring more positives into your personal and professional life. I have often stated that in removing that which no longer serves you opens up channels for you to receive that which will serve you.
By succeeding you are saying in your face to the negative people and thus growing personally and professionally.
Music is a great tool to say in your face. Sometimes if you respond with a song like this if you find it necessary to respond it will subtlety send your message of in your face.
