Spiritual Awakening: Only The Beginning!!!
Lao Tzu said the journey of 1,000 miles starts with the first step. As we set upon our journey of spiritual awakening we must understanding that the first step is only the beginning. Along our path we may find that special person that lifts us up and allows us to be our authentic self thus making us stronger. Sometime the words of gratitude needed to say to this person escapes us so a warm embrace is all we need to show our appreciation. Our journey must start with the the idea of gratitude. As the day begin think of what you are grateful for and look to the heavens and thank GOD for what you do have and what for what he is doing in your life. As you begin to understand that each day is a new beginning you will find yourself letting go of the past and thus you will continue to take action steps to move further along on your path of spiritual awakening. It is only the beginning of greater things to come.
As you begin your journey remember that you are a divine child of GOD and he has greater plans for you. When you feel like taking a rest take that rest but do not quit as the plans GOD has for you are greater than you can imagine and there are great things for you to do it. While you may encounter doubters leave no doubt that if you are following your heart and beginning that you will be rewarded for your efforts. I often state if you think it is hard to keep friends on social media think what Jesus must have experienced. There will always be those who doubt and there will also be those who lift you and believe in your mission. It is up to you to believe enough in yourself to take action and begin. As you begin to awaken more and more you will attract those that will support you and build you up while at the same time you will find it easier to let go of people and things that no longer serve you. Ask yourself what changes do I seek to make to answer the calling and begin to embrace my purpose. It is when you continue to work on furthering your purpose that you will begin to have clarity thus allowing you to make the mind, body, soul, connection that will create a oneness consciousness.

Books such as these can be a great help in propelling you in a positive direction towards your goals and dreams. In applying what we read we continue to shift things therefore attracting what we seek to make a positive difference in our lives and in the lives of others.
Using this concept will not only help you to connect with people it will help you to continue to bring the proper people into your life. Take it one step further and get out in the community and begin to introduce yourself to people as you never know who you meet can help you in furthering your mission or how you can help them to further their mission. The key is to get out there and start to shine your light and be of service and value to others and you will become more and more connected.
Begin volunteering for a charity that you are passionate about as it will lead to your personal and professional growth and help you to connect with people on a cellular level. I have been involved with Relay For Life for 15 years and I have found it to be a spiritual awakening of sorts as I have faced the challenges of raising funds, securing in-kind sponsors, recruiting teams, care givers, and survivors.
