As I sat down to write today’s entry I thought about how magical life becomes after you have experienced a spiritual awakening. You begin to look as everything as opportunity to grow personally and professionally. You begin to stop making excuses and making magic. Things begin to align themselves as part of GOD’S great big plan for you and you begin to see the magic that surrounds you and the magic that is possible when you awaken and walk with faith daily. In the spiritual awakening process one learns that their is magic in taking action. In taking action one creates magic moments that you may not have thought possible before. Previously you may have allowed the negative self talk and the negative input of others to hold you back, however as soon as you awaken to the fact that you are a divine child of GOD and you have greatness inside of you that the world is ready to embrace you will see how you can create magic.

Spiritual Awakening: Cherishing Magical Moments!!!
Some of my magical moments occurred when I was serving as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in The Philippines teach at-risk youth at a Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth. I remember having the kids help to clean up the area around the RRCY and rewarding them with Jolibee and Goldilocks (hamburgers and cake) that I had been able to have donated. As I looked at the clean grounds I had a sense of pride that I was able to be part of teaching the kids the value of having a clean environment that was uncluttered. On the day that I left The Philippines to return home to The United States I reflected about all the magical moments that I had from meeting my fellow Group 260 U.S. Peace Corps Volunteers to working with my language and cultural studies instructors to Thanksgiving spent at University of The Philippines – Los Banos to getting lost on Mabini Street these magical moment memories no propel me to continue on a spiritual path to make more magical moments.
My involvement with The American Cancer Society Relay For Life has had its share of spiritual awakenings that have led to magical moments like meeting some great and inspirational leaders who have come together to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. As I stand on the stage each year as the emcee for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton I get to experience many magical moments from introducing survivors and care givers to exchanging hugs during The Luminaria Ceremony to the quiet time to reflect each moment is cherished. These magical moments remind me of a purpose to help others by being of service and value to others.
I have been able to create a few magical moments by being active in the community and being passionate about helping others. On a recent collection Day for The American cancer Society Relay For Life I came across a man whose wife was getting treatment and he was very sad so I prayed with him and gave him the 1-800-acs-2345 number. He was grateful. Stay Positive Today!!!
