Spiritual Awakening: Reaching New Heights!!!
In the spiritual awakening process it is important to understand that you are limitless. In becoming limitless we begin to see that we can reach new heights. In being awake and aware we realize that anything is possible and nothing can stop us but ourselves with our limiting beliefs. It is when we take action to erase the limiting beliefs that we are able to do the things that we once thought were nearly impossible. With the right amount of grit and determination and a positive mindset we can do amazing things. So many times we want to reach new heights but we make an excuse or find a reason that blocks us from taking the action to experience an awakening that will enhance our personal and professional life. What is it that may be creating blockages for you to reach new heights?
As I was searching for material for today’s (7/23/14) entry I came across this speech made by Maya Angelou in honor of Andrew Young. It is her poem Still I Rise which reminds us to face challenges and overcome and to use the obstacles that are put in our life as stepping stones to reach new heights. In making a commitment to rise and put our limiting beliefs aside we begin to create a better life for ourselves and others. It is when we make the conscious decision to shine our light that we brighten up the world with our positive actions. Sometimes it is in getting real with ourselves that we rise to heights that we only once we imagined.
It is said what the mind can conceive and the heart can believe you can achieve. In making the mind, body, soul connection it is important to use your imagination and take action to turn these dreams into reality. I have found that sitting quietly and envisioning a good outcome often creates an outcome. I have found that when one implements the ideas that they have imagined and takes action that they enhance their personal and professional life. Goethe spoke of boldness in beginning and Lao Tzu said a journey of a thousand miles begins with your first step. This is so true as you can not reach new heights if you do not start. Ask yourself what is it that is stopping me from starting?
The number one reason why someone does not start is because of their fear that they may fail. Thomas Edison failed over 1,000 times in his quest to harness energy and create a light bulb, however he kept going and his invention now lights up the world. It is not that you fail but that you learn and continue to move forward in the positive direction of your dream and you will find success. There will be setbacks but those setbacks can be step ups as they contain lessons for us and thus allow us to reach new heights.
In reaching new heights one must dedicate oneself to not letting anything break their stride. Do not let those who say it can not be done influence you. When you step into your power and move into your greatness you will encounter those who want to hold you back. Detach from the naysayers and move forward and understand that you are a champion and champions do not quit.
A champion lie within all of us and that champion is ready to be unleashed on the world and looking to reach new heights. It is when you believe you are a champion and take actions of a champion that you achieve the greatness and prosperity that is your birthright. If you doubt that you are a champion just remember you are a divine child of GOD and GOD doesn’t make any junk.

It is when we change our thinking from I can’t to I will that we begin to reach new heights and experience life from a different perspective. It when we change from I have to thinking to I get to thinking that we see improvement in our lives. Ask yourself how am I seeing things and can I look at these things differently.
In surrounding yourself with positive quotes and affirmations you will be reminded that you are capable of reaching new heights.
Books such as these and Sources of Wisdom Book 2 which can be ordered through this blog have proven to be great tools to help people reach new heights.
The best way to reach new heights is to become a giver. I have found that when you give you open many channels to receive. Stay Positive!!!
