Spiritual Awakening: Fixing The Broken Road!!!

In the spiritual awakening process we may come across a broken road in our path. When we come to that broken road we must understand GOD put that road there for a purpose and to remind us to take action to do something to fix the broken road. The broken road may represent a part of us that needs to be patched up or fixed. Our broken road is being worked on by GOD and the angels who are constantly sending messages to us to move forward in a positive direction of our dreams. Sometimes along our spiritual path that leads to personal and professional growth we may come upon detours. It is when we come upon these detours that we understand that GOD and the angels have a reason for putting up these detours and by accepting them and working through them we become stronger.

Collinsville Relay for Life kicks of Jan. 23 The lessons of fixing the broken road was very evident yesterday (7/15/14) as I traveled to The American Cancer Society South Palm Beach Unit to drop of donations for Relay For Life. I made the left hand turn into the office complex expecting to go straight like I usually do, however there was road work going on and a big sign directing me around the construction. As I deviated from the normal path I thought just as this road is being fixed GOD is working on fixing me. The broken road I encountered will be repaired and it will be in better shape when finished just like all of us that may be broken in some way are being fixed by GOD and being made better.

This lesson of fixing a broken road was also evident in my fundraising efforts for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton as I ran into some obstacles and started to let these obstacles stop me from moving forward in a positive direction toward my goal of creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays in an effort to finish the fight. I ran into many negative people who were outright mean to me and this hurt me and broke me for a moment. Then like that broken road being mended I decided to mend myself by looking at what I was doing and the vibration I was giving off. I discovered I was creating pot holes and sinking so I made a conscious decision to fill in the pot holes and get on solid ground. I took accountability for the vibrations I was giving off and the energy that I was bringing to my collection efforts and I made a shift. The minute I went from the position of I have to collect donations and I have to raise $2500 to I get to raise money and share the mission of The American Cancer Society with others the results started to change. As soon as I focused on all those who have visited http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg1 and made donations instead of those who said they would and didn’t more donations came in. As soon as I showed gratitude for those who donated instead of disparaging those who did not I was able to collect more donations. As of 2:00 PM EDT today ( 7/16/14) I have raised $2,457.49. I have now turned to GOD and asked him for guidance as I fix my broken road.

God doesn't break things so He can fix them. He fixes broken things so ... Stop trying to 'fix' yourself; you're NOT broken! You are perfectly ...

As we expand our understanding that GOD has a purpose for us and that he often chooses those who are broken to fix so that he can effectively use them for the betterment of the human race we begin to see why we are here on earth. We begin to see our flaws and then work on improving them with the guidance of GOD. GOD will make you whole and use you as he sees the need to. GOD’S plan for you will be revealed as he helps to fix your broken road. As GOD fixes your broken road he will allow you to come alive by answering your calling and by giving you a chance to be of value and service to your community.
