Spiritual Awakening: The World Is Calling!!!
Today’s entry was inspired by a U.S. Peace Corps commercial that I found today. As A returned U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer I can truly tell you that there is something very spiritual about being of service and value in this way. I remember when I filled out the paper work to become a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer and gaining a great insight into my spiritual awakening. For many years I have recited The Jaycees Creed and the second line That The Brotherhood Of Man Transcends The Sovereignty Of Nations always resonated with me. Now was the time to take this belief and put it into action by becoming a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer. The paper work was completed and checked and I realized that this was another message from GOD telling me The World Is Calling and It Is Time To Shine Your Light. I took that message and continued on my spiritual journey which would take me to The Philippines for 6 months. In those 6 months I found out more about my inner core than I ever expected. I found myself meditating daily, walking the beach, spread love wherever I went, and looking for ways to be of service and value. In those 6 months I further understood my calling from GOD which was to help other people excel. Each day in The Philippines was a day that led to change and when I returned to The United States in February 2003 I was definitely a changed person with a new found appreciation for that which I had.
Spiritual Awakening: Answering The Call!!!
How many times do we allow our human existence to interfere with our spiritual existence and are left questioning ourselves? It is very important after you have a spiritual awakening and commit to being on a spiritual journey that you answer the call from GOD. It is said that if GOD brings you to it GOD will bring you through it. GOD will give you a call to answer and it is up to you to answer that call and not let it go to voice mail. As yourself how has GOD called you? Has GOD directed you to be involved in the community? Has GOD called you to use your talents for good? Look around and see the messages that GOD is sending you and act upon them. GOD will give you the tools and allow you to explore what is needed to make you the best person you can be. Many times it will be the same message showing up over and over again. The message from GOD to me over the last month that has been reoccurring was to become organized and plan out my days so that I can move forward with his plan for me, which is to be a beacon of hope for others and to help them excel. I have learned that when you go as GOD directs you and you glorify him everything will work out. I was reflecting in mediation when I realized all the synchronicities that have occurred in my life and how they were all related to my connection to GOD.
To answer GOD’S Call all you have to do is ask and GOD will answer. When GOD opens your heart you will be able to give and receive love and thus move forward in the positive direction of your calling. As GOD Opens your heart and you shine your light he will deliver the right people into your spiritual path to guide you in your quest to create a oneness consciousness that will allow you to detach from situations and understand that the way things are and the way they should be are two separate things. GOD will help you to make changes in your personal and professional life so that you can answer the call to be of service and value.
GOD created you with a purpose and now is the time to answer the call and do something, People may scrutinize you because they are not ready but one day they will be so keep shining your light and do something. One easy way to answer the call is to go on a Faith Walk and share your love with others by supporting a charitable cause. It is when you take action and do something that you can make a difference. You do not have to go 1/2 way around the world to answer your calling all you have to do is understand that the two best days in your life are the day you are born and the day you discover why. You can do something.
