Spiritual Awakening: Taking A Selfie!!!!
As I sat in the cardiologist’s office today (6/23/14) I was wearing my Count Your Blessings Not Your Problems Tee-Shirt from www.spreadthewordapparel.weebly.com and I wanted to take a selfie as I wanted to illustrate the concept of being a walking billboard and sharing your spiritual awakening. Each time I tried to take a photo it didn’t come out right. It was then that I realized that sometimes taking a selfie will not work and that is when you get help from people to assist you in the process of spreading the message. It is at that time when you ask GOD to send you someone to help and you then receive the help. I am sure I will get the photo of me wearing the Count Your Blessings Not Your Problems shirt when the time is right. As I was writing this blog guess what happened the cleaning ladies from my clubhouse in Sunrise Lakes Phase III came into the club room and one of them took a photo which is now on Facebook. The lesson here is that when GOD wants things to happen he will allow them to happen.
Sometimes we need to put the idea of taking the selfie aside and wait until help arrives. Sometimes we must reach beyond one self and expand by including more and more people in our efforts to spread a positive message to the world. In awakening and understanding there is time to take a selfie and a time to find others to take the picture. The lesson learned here is that all things tat are meant to happen for your enhancement will take place in due time.
I wonder of GOD had stopped to take a selfie what it would like and what would the caption say. I often think if we think it is difficult to get followers what must Jesus had faced and what would Jesus’s selfie have looked like. The Selfie can be a great help in reminding us we are divine children of GOD and inside of each of us is a light that is meant to be shined. This brings about the question is a selfie being conceited or is a selfie helping to shine our light for others to see and thus they will shine their light.
Many times it is when we have the selfie to look at that we begin to see how special we are and what talents we have to share with the world. Having a sense of self worth will help you to grow spiritually as you begin to step into your power and use your talents for good. If you embrace your uniqueness and you look at the selfies that you are taking and the message you are spreading you will begin to see changes that propel you to greatness as you make the mind, body, soul connection.
As you continue on your path to spiritual enlightenment remember that there is a time for a selfie and there is a time to include others. When you have your selfies look at them and remember you are a gifted talented divine child of GOD with much to offer the world. Stay Positive!!!
