Spiritual Awakening: Just Do Me!!!
During my spiritual awakening I have learned that I must do me first then allow the results to fall into place as the universe and GOD intended. I have often been accused as being different and my thought process has been said to be way out there. My answer is so what it works for me. I like to look up and smile at people. This often gets a strange look as many people are not ready to be vulnerable and open as they may have been hurt in the past by doing so and thus they have closed themselves off to what can be a great interaction with others. In doing me of as some people say that is JDOGG being JDOGG I have found that my days are more peaceful, more joyous, filled with more love, and more prosperous than in the past.
One of the anthems I have adopted in the last year is Gloria Gaynor’s, I Am What I AM. In an effort to answer my calling and help other people excel I have suggested that they take out a piece of paper and put their name on the top surrounded by 5 dollar signs on each side, then write the statement I AM followed by 5-10 things that they perceive themselves as. My paper currently looks like this:

10: Committed to steeping into my power and achieving greatness.
In reaching down inside your self and exploring your divinity while discovering your inner spirit you will find your purpose. In finding your purpose you will hear the messages being delivered to you and have clarity on your purpose. In finding your purpose and committing to being yourself you will come alive and not only enhance your life but you will touch the lives of those you come in contact. In detaching from the concept of what will others think you begin to step into your power and begin your journey to the greatness and prosperity that is your birthright. There will be people who do not get you and will judge because they are not ready to explore their inner being and to be themselves. I say just let these people go and find the people who you resonate with and whose vibrational frequency resonates back to you so you are lifted. It is a matter of deciding to go where you are celebrated not tolerated.
Spiritual Awakening: Just Do Me!!!- A Case Study!!!
It was a rainy afternoon in January of 2013 I was very close to reaching my goal of raising $1500 for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton when I decided to canvas a few shopping plazas collecting donations. I had my collection canister, my Relay For Life Gear, and my Bible. I remember walking into one business and the gentleman behind the counter asked what book I was reading I said “The Bible.” He answered ” You have a powerful weapon there,” we had a nice conversation and he made a $5 donation to The Relay For Life and asked his customers to make donations and they did. I used the energy from this encounter to fuel me as I continued to collect donations. There were a few people who were not as nice and I prayed for them. I also remembered that not everyone will resonate with your message, however their will be plenty who do so focus on them. When The Relay For Life was held in February of 2013 I had raised $1797. Today I carry The Bible with me and when I feel like I am not aligned, centered, or balanced with my purpose I turn to several of my favorite verses and I am back on track to simply do me.

When you commit to doing you it is important to stay the course. The course will have a few obstacles because there are those who will not support your vision or understand the course you are taking. When this occurs make adjustments and if necessary put these people behind you and don’t look back. You may get discouraged as the results are not coming as fast as you would like. It is at those times that you press on and understand everything happens in due time.

As you make the commitment to do you and find who you are and what your purpose is you begin to create a oneness consciousness that will propel you forward in the direction of the life you want for yourself. Today you can commit to doing you and shining your life and you will see amazing changes occur. Remember it is your commitment to being you that will determine your level of peace, love, joy, and prosperity. It is in being you that you give others permission to be themselves. The power is yours! Stay Positive.
