Spiritual Awakening: The Joy Is In The Journey!!!
When you feel it in your heart and you commit to take action you begin a journey that will lead to a destiny. The joy truly comes when you decide to awaken spiritually and to start your journey to shine your light and to design the life that you want. It is said what the mind can conceive, the heart can believe, you can achieve. This is true however one must be willing to make a full commitment to walk in their truth and experience all that comes with the journey. I was asked today what I wanted to accomplish with this blog and my answer was to give people inspiration to continue on there spiritual journey and to help other people along the way. I then added if people visit and make donations to help me in my quest to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays while honoring my mother, Judith Miller’s, memory than that will be a bonus. My journey is not about making money my journey is about empowering and inspiring people understanding that by helping others get what they want I will get what I want.
Along the journey there will be some hurdles and some obstacles so it is important to remember that this is your journey and to relish in the joy along the way. In coming alive through your spiritual awakening you will begin to see changes in your personal and professional life. On my journey there have been many trials and tribulations however each experience contained a lesson or a message and by not quitting I have been able to find much joy along the way.
Part of my journey includes a commitment to give back to the community. There is something magical and joyful in using your talents for good. When at the end of the day you can lay day in gratitude for the difference that you made in others lives and see how it has enhanced your personal and professional life you can say that the journey I have chosen to embark on is well worth it. On your journey you will experience many emotions and it is important to experience the emotions and allow them to play out so that you can relish in the bliss of the journey.
There will be times when you want to stop your journey. It is at those times when you reach down deep down inside of your self and find the divine guidance to press on as you are the brink of a breakthrough. I remember a year when I was walking in The March Of Dimes Walk it was a hot day and in the final mile I was struggling and could barely stand let alone walk but I stopped drank my water and continued. With about 50 yards to go I went down to my knees and began to crawl, I stood up drank more of my water and walked about half way and went back down to my knees, got up and completed the 18 mile walk. I then sat down and drank water, Gatorade, and ate to rehydrate myself. As I reflect back on the experience I feel joy for this journey made a difference in the lives of expectant mothers. Though the last mile was fraught with struggle I learned that after overcoming the adversity there is joy.
