Spiritual Awakening: Breaking The Chains!!!!
This week we celebrate two important holidays that allow us to reflect on the power that we have in the spiritual awakening process as we escape from our own bondage Passover and Easter. As we begin to reflect and meditate on the concept of freedom and how free we truly are in our spirituality. We have the chance to look at our inner divinity and to become action takers and live a life that will enhance us mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In escaping from Egypt The Jews faced many challenges along the way and with each challenge came hope from above that they would reach the promised land and with GOD’S grace and favor they did. Jesus was crucified on the cross and showing you can not keep the messiah down he rose from the grave to absolve all of their sins and burdens thus giving the followers of Christ their freedom. With the gift of freedom and the shackles removed we must ask ourselves are we truly free?
I have been asked on many occasion, JDOGG How can you celebrate and mark The Jewish and The Christian Holidays. My answer is simple, I have broken the chains that have served as barriers to finding my divinity and today I realize that both Jew and Christians are more alike then different. After all The Last Supper is a Passover Seder. Both holiday represent finding freedom. Both Holidays are represented by giving something up and making a sacrifice. Thus I find it very easy to observe and honor both holidays. At a Seder you will gather with family and friends and on Easter Sunday you will gather with family and friends. Both holidays are celebrations that also give us time to reflect. In essence both Easter and Passover hold a significant place in our lives as we gather for fellowship and remembrance while honoring GOD.
As we mark Passover and Easter this week let us learn from the teachings to break our chains and to follow our divine guidance to be loving and caring in al that we do.
Spiritual Awakening: Unchain My Heart!!!!
When we take a moment to celebrate Passover and Easter we begin to understand that it is important to unchain our hearts as we move toward obtaining our true freedom to live the life that GOD has planned for us. When we unchain our heart we set ourselves free to pursue the peace, love, joy, and prosperity that GOD has in store for us. When our heart is open our spiritual path can progress in the positive direction of the master plan that GOD has set out for us. It is through GOD that all things are possible. It is important to understand that to make things possible we must unchain our heart and allow GOD to come in and love us.
Spiritual Awakening: Breaking Free!!!!
We were all born free and each time when we pause to look around we recognize how free we can be. It is when we give gratitude and embrace our freedom that we can break free. In breaking free and removing the shackles and the blockages that may have been keeping us in bondage we begin to step into our power and realize that we have greatness inside of us that needs to be unleashed. Think about how many things you wanted to do but fear held you back well now it is time to release the fear and move forward by continuing the spiritual awakening process and breaking free.
In March of 1974 Marlo Thomas aired the special Free To Be You And Me that focused on many elements that contribute to the self-esteem of a child. As we mark the holidays of Passover and Easter This week let us share the stories and traditions with the children in a caring and loving way. It is when we all the children to be free that we also become free as we lift the burden of our own bondage by lifting the bondage of others. It is when we break free and share this freedom with others that we create a positive shift of consciousness in our community and thus we make the world a better place.
