Spiritual Awakening: Changing Your Attitude Changes Your Latitudes!!!!

Today’s blog entry is inspired by Jimmy Buffett who puts an interesting spin on the spiritual awakening process with his song, Changes In Attitudes, Changes in Latitude. I have found that when we change the energy that we bring to a project and become an action taker with a positive attitude and detach from the outcome we find more success and thus reach a higher latitude. Recently I was having what could be perceived as a difficult time in booking guests for my TV Show, The Anything Bucket, which airs on WRPBiTV on Tuesday at www.wrpbitv.com at 6:30 PM EST. As I looked at how I was approaching the situation and seeing that my energy wasn’t at the level it needed to be and made a conscious decision to change the way I was doing things I began to book guests. As I began to understand that part of the spiritual awakening process is to detach from the outcome and allow things to flow everything will fall into the order that GOD has in mind for you. In changing your attitude and not having an attachment to the outcome you begin to create the environment with the proper energy desired to allow you to soar. You have an ability inside of you to come alive by understanding that you have the ability to manifest your dreams by simply changing your attitude and adjusting your sails to move to a higher latitude.

Your Attitude ...determines your Altitude ! ... ... in harmony with Christ: Changing your attitude about the Church It is not what you know or what you do that determines your success it is the attitude you put forth in the endeavor. It is your way of thinking and the energy that you bring that determines your success. I recently began to wonder why people weren’t helping in me in my #GOFORTHEPURPLE Campaign to help finish the fight and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. I was putting out some negative vibes wondering how easy it is for people to visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg1 and make a donation and how everyone could afford $5.00. This was not helping to move the fundraising thermometer in a positive direction. As a result I took a long walk outside sat by the lake and made a commitment to shift my attitude and come from a position of gratitude and focus on those who have donated. In doing this and making an energetic shift and understanding that it is all part of the spiritual awakening process I have now raised $1018 toward The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton, FL. As a result of changing my attitude and shifting energy I have been able to enlist the support of Sonia Choquette, who sent me a deck of her oracle cards and 3 of her books to use as a chance drawing item. In making a shift and assuming an attitude of gratitude I have been able to find more success in my endeavors.

Share to Twitter Share to Facebook When we receive a message to go forward with what we desire to create it is important to assume a positive attitude. The energy we bring to the project will determine how successful we become. I remember when I first introduced POINTS FOR THE CURE and I posted it across social media and I was a bit upset that not many people participated I began to ask what does it take to get people to respond. I was asking people to donate $.25 (25 cents) Per point their team scored. I had 3 people participate and I was mad because I thought with all the outreach I did I would have a lot more participants. I then did POINTS FOR THE CURE SUPERBOWL EDITION. No one visited http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg1 to make a donation and I thought wow, we are only talking $10.75 if they chose The Seahawks or $5 if they chose The Broncos. I thought heck I spend $10.75 on things that don’t help people, here was an opportunity to fund research, education, advocacy, and services and these people can’t take a moment to visit http://main.acsevents.org/gotto/jdogg1 and help, how many times have I helped them when they ask, these people on social media really suck. Then I realized that maybe it was ne and my attitude. It was when I understood that I was so attached to the outcome and the negative energy I was giving to the effort was adversely affecting that I shifted and realized some will, some won’t, so what, some waiting, next that I had more success. In having a spiritual awakening and understanding that those meant to visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg1 and make a donation will has changed my attitude and thus increased the latitude that I am on.

It is your attitude, not your aptitude, In changing your attitude you will increase your latitude and then soar higher than you expected. When you detach any emotional ties to the project and allow everything to flow you will see that a positive attitude will change your latitude and your vibrations will attract all that are supposed to help you to be successful in your endeavors.
