Spiritual Awakening: A Special Message From Simba!!!

Today’s blog entry was inspired by this scene from Lion King where Simba sings One Foot In Front Of The Other. He shows how easy it is to make a shift by simply putting one foot in front of the other. I realized as I listened to the message that if you are unhappy with how you are perceived all you have to do is make a shift and sometimes it is as simple as just walking away and staying on your path and not being distracted by others.

Sometimes being on the path by yourself is the best way for you to make a shift. In many cases it is when we dream that we find comfort and receive the messages that we are intended to receive. Many times our loneliness subsides as we put one foot in front of another and realize that we may feel alone but we are not alone as spirit is always present and guides us along our path by helping us to put one foot in front of the other.

Mary Stevenson’s poem Footprints strengthens the message that Simba delivered and encourages us to put one foot in front of the other and stay the course by allowing The Lord to guide us and carry us. It is when we find the strength to believe that we are carried along our path and thus we leave footprints in the stand. What footprint are you leaving.

One of the keys to keep moving forward is to believe in yourself. This song from FAME teaches us how important it is to believe in ourselves and to remind ourselves that I still believe in me. As you put one foot in front of the other remember to keep believing.

As Simba makes his journey to lead he realizes that spirit lives in you teaching us that GOD is inside of us and as we walk our path he will guide us.

Simba’s Father teaches Simba that we are all connected and as we follow our path that we are all one. This is a beautiful example of Namaste as Pumba Teaches Simba that the divine inside of him is also in Simba. The lesson is that we are one.
