Spiritual Awakening: I Did It On Purpose!!!<\/h1>\n

\u00a0I am asked many times through out my fundraising campaigns for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life why I do what I do. My answer is usually I do what I do as it is part of my purpose to be of service and value to others. I have learned that doing things on purpose is very important and finding your why is equally as important. Each day when you awake and you become more aware of your purpose you should begin to find ways that will nourish that purpose. When I awoke this morning (1\/9\/2016) I knew I was going to ship birthday gifts to my brothers Joshua and Richard and that I was then going to collect donations for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Sunrise, FL. each step was going to have a purpose as I was working toward my goal of raising $1000 to honor the memory of my mother who was called home to GOD on July 5, 2012 after suffering a massive heart attack while battling inoperable metastatic lung cancer. Each time post http:\/\/main.acsevents.org\/goto\/jdogg3 asking for donations it has a purpose to honor my mother’s memory and to help all those touched by cancer. With each step I took today I was reminded that my purpose was to share Relay for Life with others and that regardless of whether people donated or not that my purpose to plant the seeds of hope and healing for cancer patients and their families was the most important aspect of my walk. As I hit 2.10 miles I decided to stop and take a break at my local Starbucks. It was at that point that I realized another purpose and that was to share positivism so that someone reading this entry would be \u00a0uplifted and encouraged to do things on purpose.<\/p>\n
