(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home2/jdogg/public_html/the-spiritualawakening.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6121It is when we awaken spiritually and realize that we must be committed to making changes along the way as we journey down our spiritual path. If we are to truly create a oneness consciousness we must become action takers and detach from what others might say or think. I have come to understand that while I may be committed to excellence not everyone I engage with holds this same belief. I have come to learn that while my passion and action are leading me to my own personal successes that not everyone is prepared to step up and be righteous. I have come to realize that while I may be totally committed to something others may not be as committed and it is not my job to drag them kicking and screaming onto my path.

As I evolve through the spiritual awakening process I begin to see that not everyone will subscribe to your belief of being impeccable with your word and doing what they said they would do. When the person you are dealing with lacks the commitment that you have the best thing you can do is simply shine your light bright for others to see and to do your best to honor your commitments. I have learned through my many experiences that the best thing to do is to simply ask what is their level of commitment and if it doesn’t resonate with you then you simply say to bad so sad don’t let the door hit you where GOD split you bye bye. In eliminating those who are no longer serving you or who no longer are committed to excellence you begin to find the people who believe in what you are committed to and they begin helping you in your effort to be committed to excellence.

As many of you know I am very involved in The American cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton and my commitment sometimes can overwhelm those who I share Relay For Life With because I expect people to come through when they say they are going to do something. My commitment to excellence has me ranked # 1 for fundraising for this relay with $2691.90 raised and my team ranked #1 with $4,286.15. We had 3 members on our team in 2015 and we all committed to excellence.

In the process of raising funds for Relay For Life and promoting the idea of people visiting http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 and making donations I realized that my commitment to excellence was being seen by other participants and as a result they bought into the idea of committing to excellence and we have raised $21,775.68. In doing what you say you are going to do you leave no doubt in your mind that you have striven for excellence by being committed to excellence. The key to being committed to excellence is to say I Will and write what you will do down so you are reminded to take action steps to exceed all expectations. I wrote down I Will raise $2500 and I raised $2691.90. In committing to a goal and then taken action I achieved that goal.

In my dealings with people through Relay and various other activities I have come to realize that many may not strive for excellence and that you can not change them. All you can do is shine your light and thus attract the people who resonate with your message to be of service and value so you can stay committed to excellence.

Through out my life I have learned that if you are to be excellent you must begin. In the case of Relay For Life I have learned that everyone’s level of commitment will vary so be grateful for whatever someone does.

I have found the greatest tool to stay committed to excellence is Don Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements.
