Spriritual Awakening:Putting The Right Energy Into Your Day

  Today’sblog entry was inspired by my work with The  American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of West Boca Raton as I started my day with introspection and realized I was bringing the wrong energy focus to my fundraising efforts. I wa smaking it about me being recognized as a STAR Supporter, someone who raises at least $1500, instead of looking at it from the stand point of helping people. I put expectations out there that everyone should donate and that everyone I speak to can afford to donate $1. This expectation may be true however through introspection I realized that Some Will, Some Won’t, Some Waiting, So What, Next?  As a result I shifted my energy and attitude and decided I am a man of faith, service, and value and GOD will direct me to the people who will give he will put a few challenging people in front of me as well so as to help me with my journey to not take things personally and not to be so agreesive and not to be defensive if my intergrity comes into question for it has nothing to do with me but everything to do with the person I am approaching.  I have come to the conclusion that when you put the right energy into your day that good things will happen and when you have the proper intention behind what you are doing you will shift and attract more positive energy than negative. There will alsways be people that are negative or that seem to have an attitude problem and they are just not ready for the lesson of kindness or of being of service and value. They will wake up and realize that part of their struggle is part of the vibrational energy they are giving off and one day they will begin to put the righ energy forward into their day.

     Through the introspection process I began to realize that the negative energy that I was attracting was because I was being negative and showing my frustration because people weren’t doing what I expected them to do or what I wanted them to do. I then realized I can not force people to donate, I can not demand people to advertise in www.labonitakidz.com, I can not force anyone touse my services, all I can do is put positive energy out there, be of service and value, and let people see what I am doing to help other people excel and allow them to choose to follow me and use my services or donate to my cause.

Spiritual Awakening: Finding The Positive!!!

 As I sat down to write this blog entry today I reflected back on the last entry about shifting and how it affects us as we continue to develop our spirituality through our spiritual awakening. I then began to look at where I was and what I was doing and realized how many people were doing the same thing and what could I do to help them find the positive. I then started to reflect on the events of Friday january 25, 2013 and realized that the reason I was having dificulty in obtaining donations for The American Cancer Society is that I was putting the wrong energy out into the universe for it was not my place to point out to the gentleman at Dominick’s Pizza that he needs to understand that everyoen walking into his extablishment is a potential customerand that if he chooses to act the way he did then all I have to do is breathe and walk away. By understanding this I began to let go of the negative encounters and began to celebrate and remember the good encounters like the ladies at Today’s Hair and Nails for their warmth and support or Jason at Lindburgers who was open and receptive to the idea of helping with Relay for Life. I then realized instead of being disappointed with the Facebook Friends who I know personally who haven’t donated to be grateful and continue to thank those who did donate. As I further reflected I realized that it is the vibration that we give off on many ocaasions that we attract back to us.  If we are disappointed more disappointment will be throust in our direction, however if we are grateful more will be given to us to be grateful for.  I now look at all those no’s as getting closer to someone who will say yes and who will resonate with my message and want to support my efforts.

Spiritual Awakening: Neale Donald Walsh Inspires Positive Shift!!!!

     Every day I get a missive from Neale Donald Walsh titled On This Day GOD Wants You To Know and each day I take a moment to read and digest the message. Today’s message …that if you  become ruffled with every comment that you consider a ‘slight,’ you will never find peace, really hit home as I have been taking people’s lack of interest in www.labonitakidz.com and http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogglederman personally so I took a deep breathe and made a commitment to myslef to start to shif things and realize that not everyone is going to resonate with what I am doing and that it is okay and that those that will support the efforts will appear. As I began to shift and focus on the more positive experiences I and realize that not every not interested or negative comment is a bad thing that it is actually a good thing as it gives me a chance to move on and keep moving in the positive direction of my dreams.  I then began to look at how am I presenting myself and my ideas to others and how are my vibrations. As I beagn to reflect and realize that each tie I interact with someone it is a chance to share and that if they are meant to buy and ad or make a donation or use my services then they will and if they are not then the person that is will appear.  It is when you leave it up to GOD and take action on his answers that you find the most success.

Spiritual Awakening: It All Begins With Gratitude

   About a year and a half ago I had the pleasure of interviewing Cat Wagman about her book Why Thank You. She shared tremendous insight that night on Get Motivated With Jonathan JDOGG Lederman, heard at www.blogtalkradio.com/hrafnstongradio on monday from 7-8 PM EST. The nugget that I took away from the show that night was that success starts with gratitude.

   The idea that it all starts with gratitude was reinforced when Josh Hinds author of Live Big appeared on my show and we discussed one of his chapters of the book that was dedicated to gratitude.

Spiritual Awakening: Martin Luther King Jr. Remembered

I was 2 1/2 years old when GOD called Martin Luther King Jr. home thus my knowledge of him comes from the watching of his speeches and what they taught us in school about him.  In a very spirtual sense he was an action taker who understood his clling and his purpose. Through his passion and action he created many opportunities for those who otherwise would not have had a voice and who may never have been given the opportunity to excel. His dream that people should be judged on the content of the character instead of on the color of their skin is a work in progress as there are still many that have not awakened spiritually to understand that we are all divine children of GOD.

  Today (1/21/13) we marked a milestone in history by remembering Martin Luther King Jr. while also swearing in President Barack Obama for a second term. The second bible that Barack Obama used to take his oath belonged to Martin Luther King Jr.  As The inauguration ended President Obama and his family along with Joe Biden and his family stopped by The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Statue to honor the fallen civil rights leader.

Spiritual Awakening: Where Is The Strangest Place You Received A Message?

 

 I have received messages in many forms and in many places, however this morning I received a message from the strangest place of all my toilet in my bathroom. There I was I had just finished my business and went to flush and the chain leading from the handle to the flapper had broken. At first I looked up to heaven and asked GOD why? I then figure out how to get the toilet to flush, called Total( My service repair provider), and then the answer came to me, the message was to break the chains that are holding me back and to take the day for much needed introspection. As I mentioned in an earlier entry signs are all around us and it is importnat to seek the meanings of the messages contained in the signs.  This prompted me to aske everyone where is the Strangest Place You Received A Message?

  The messages we receive from GOD come in all sahpes, sizes, and in many strange places, however it is when we begin to understand the messages that we are receiveing that we begin to create a flow and the vibration necessary to connect with GOD and create the life we desire.  It is said that which you focus on expands. Think about what you are focusing on and how things are happening and then look for the messages that may be coming to you in many cases in what you would consider a little strange.

Spiritual Awakening: Signs, Signs, Everywhere A Sign!!!!

This post was inspired by a song from Five Man Electrical Band tittled Signs. As I listened to the the lyrics and really focused in I began to ask how many times have we missed signs or have we not acted upon the signs that being put infront of us. Is it no wonder that many struggle as they obliviously go through life not seeing nor understanding the signs? Have you ever received what you thought was a sign and then sat quietly asking the universe what it meant and listened for an answer?  There are signs all around us delivering messages to us and the more intune with the signs that we become the more fruitful our lives become as we begin to take action in an effective and efficient manner.

Spiritual Awakening:People to Help You Understand The Signs

 Satya Kalra, a founder of Path to Anandam is popularly known for her Anandam life style (Blissful Living). Satya’s mission in life is to live in love, peace and Anandam and spread the same to others by leading, practicing and propagating spiritual living and helping others to become more self-dependent and self-reliant, specially destitute women and children.

       I had the privilige of interviewing Satya on 1/14/13 on my radio program at www.blogtalkradio.com/hrafnstongradio, you can hear it in the archives. After the show she called me directly and we had a very nice conversation about how we can be of service and value to one another.  This all came to fruition because of the sign that I received to reach out for guests for my radio show, By becoming an action taker I was able to make a connection and follow the signs to continue my awakening.

 Maya Angelou delivers a powerful message in her poem “Amazement Awaits” reminding us that when we reach down inside ourselves we find out how truly amazing  we are. We have a power to be amazing and to shine our light and collaborate with others so as to make amazing things happen and create a ripple effect that creates a positive impact in all that we do, By becoming an action taker we can create an awakening of mass proportion that will positively change the world. It is when we find our true calling that amazement occurs.  We begin to come alive and share our vision for the world to see and our community is  a better place because of our actions when we embrace the fact that amazement awaits.

Spiritual Awakening: Jim Croce Reminds Us Of Our Uniqueness!!!

 

 In his song I Got A Name, Jim Croce, reminds us of our uniqueness and our responsibility to share our talents with the world.  I recently found out that my name Jonathan means sent from GOD and that my Hebrew Name Yussel Simcha means John The Blessing. I reflected and decided that it was time to embrace this calling and to take action by having an awakening that I have the ability to change the world and improve the human condition by simply embracing my uniqueness. I ask you what makes you unique, how do you stand out what tallents do you have that you are not sharing? What is stopping you from coming alive and making your community a better place? Spiritual Awakening: Chicago Inspires A New Beginning!!!

As I sat and thought about what to write about today all the messages pointed to the idea of beginnings. As I listened to the song by Chicago, Beginnings I began to realize that each day gives us a new beginning and that each day we have 24 hours to make a positive impact on our life and on the lives of others. I then began to ask the question what is it that you have been meaning to begin but haven’t due to excuses or the fear of what others may say or think about it?  I then began to ask what is it that is holding you back? Then I found this quote by Lao Tzu,

 and immediately thought it is time to take that first step and watch things unfold. What might be holding you back from taking that first step is it fear? I found this video and I hope it inspires you to put your fear aside and to step into your greatness and to shine your light as it is only the beginning:
