Spiritual Awakening: A Time For Heroes!!!!

      In the turbulent times that our nation is facing it is now more imperative than ever that we find some heroes to unite us so that everyone can have an opportunity to grow and prosper. Heroes can come in many forms from the small child that is facing a debilitating disease but through their journey they move forward and face everything and rise to the 1st responder who takes the time to treat you at an event because you had a slight injury. A hero is someone who takes action and makes a positive impact on others by being of service and value. Heroes are people who are action takers not excuse makers. Now is your time to be a hero. It is your time to shine your light and illuminate the world. It is your time to move forward in a positive direction of your goals by utilizing your talents for good. On of my favorite stories in The Bible is The Parable Of Talents. GOD gave 3 men a certain amount of talents and 2 of the 3 men increased their talents and were rewarded however the third man took his talent and buried it and as a result was harshly punished. GOD, Jesus, The Ascended Masters, The Angels, Spirit, and Source are providing us all with an opportunity to be heroes. It is up to you to commit to be a hero and to remember if you can not do big things do small things with great love. One way to become a hero is to make kindness and compassion part of your daily ritual. When  you are kind and compassionate and coming from a heart centered place you will find that great things start to show up in your life in the form of peace, love, joy, and prosperity. We were not put here on this earth to mire in mediocrity we were put here on this earth to step into our power and achieve greatness and to become heroes for the next generation to look up so they will be inspired to show the world that service to humanity is the best work of life.

On June 5, 2021 I had the opportunity to be part of The American Cancer Society Relay For Life Broward Power Event. While attending this event I came in contact with many people that I would consider heroes as they came together for a common cause to help to plant the seeds of hope and healing for those touched by cancer. It didn’t matter race, creed, sexual orientation, financial status all that mattered was that they were there to honor those touched by cancer. I wish I could of captured the energy of the event and put it in a bottle and then released into all communities across the U.S. This event had something for everyone and was successful because the people involved understood that to be a hero you must take your passion put it into action and find success. Though there were some trials and tribulations along the way when it was all said and done people came together for the common good of their fellow man exhibiting the idea that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations.  In listening to survivor and caregiver stories and lighting candles to honor and remember those touched by cancer I found many heroes who will now serve as fuel to empower and inspire me and many others to continue to further the mission of The American Cancer Society so that one day no one has to hear the word you have Cancer. The people at Relay For Life are the heroes we need today as they are taking action to make a positive difference in their communities. Now is the time to find something you are passionate about and to be a hero. Each day we get a bit closer to heaven by becoming a hero to others.

      Now is the time to become a hero and to find a few fans whose lives you can impact in a positive way. Each day you will provided and opportunity to be a hero so tap into your inner divinity so that you can heed the messages and take advantage of the opportunity to be a hero.

It is amazing what will be delivered to you in your quest to be a hero. My theme today as you can decipher is heroes and the universe delivered this song for me to share with you. It is true we can be heroes simply by being positive and sharing positivism wherever we go. May you become a hero today.

Spiritual Awakening:Becoming A Hero!!!

 

In the trials and tribulations of our society today many are holding out for a hero when the true hero lies within all of us.  I was sitting in meditation the other day and I asked how can I get in touch with my inner hero? The answer came as part of another spiritual awakening stating to continue to just do what you to be of service and value to others and detach from the outcomes. As I came out of the meditation I began to write in my gratitude journal and I began to realize that for most of my life I was focusing on the out comes and was focusing on the wrong things instead of being grateful for the opportunity to be of service and value. As I continue to awaken spiritually I realize just how things can change when we simply stop focusing on results and start looking at the impact we can make because we all have the opportunity to be a hero.

Though Shane Falco was a fictional character in the movie, The Replacements, he taught us a lesson that we can all be heroes if just for one day. Each day that we awaken we should thank GOD for another opportunity to make a difference in our life and the lives of others. Through all that we do we should set the intention to leave people we come in contact with enriched in some way as that is what a hero does. A Hero does not seek recognition a hero simply does what is right without expectation of recognition.  A hero simple acts with grace and humility and does what is considered righteous by others. A hero doesn’t work for the applause or the accolades a hero is directed by GOD and understand the concept that you live to serve and by serving you live. I have learned through all my years of showing people that service to humanity is the best work of life that what I do for myself will die with me but what I do for others will live long after I am gone. I have learned that it is not about the big house, the fancy car, or the designer clothes but it is about how I was of service and value to others that truly matters. You have read it at this blog before about my feelings of when I am in a position to buy the Mercedes Benz that I am taking that money purchasing a modest car and then taking some of the money for my investments and then with the rest I am going to select charities to help. If each day we can be a hero to just one person we can touch lives and make a positive shift in our society that leads to hope and healing.

many are waiting on a hero so now is the time to look deep inside and find a way to step into your power to be a hero to someone everyday. Some times it is the smallest acts of kindness dome with great love that makes you a hero in the eyes of others. I posted a request for donations for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Boca Raton encouraging people to visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg4 and one of the donors wrote a comment that you are one of the heroes. My heart filled with much warmth as I realized that my involvement in Relay is  making a difference in people’s lives. I have come to realize that it is not about the plaques as the metal tarnishes and the wood rots but the memories they last forever.  As you go about your daily activities find a way to unleash your inner hero.

In a quest to become a hero  we must look back and realize that in the end when we face judgement day all that will matter is that we played the role of a hero to someone. When we evaluate our lives and we can positively answer did you live a life of joy and did you bring joy to others we can say we were heroes. When the final light is lit in your honor will your candle show that you were a hero?

Spiritual Awakening: Hope, Healing, and Heroes!!!

 During the spiritual awakening process many times we may find ourselves holding out for a hero when all the time this hero lies with us. So many times we are along the path seeking hope and healing and we continue to hold out for that hero to come along and rescue us only to understand that that hope in healing comes from our becoming one with GOD and becoming our own hero.  We become heroes the minute we decide to take action to walk in our truth and shine our light bright knowing that all the answers are inside of us and contained within our own divinity. The heroic acts of others may fuel us and inspire us, however it is standing for our beliefs and being of service and value that truly makes us a hero.

 David Bowie has created what has become an anthem for many reminding us that we can be heroes. In many cases it is through our own spiritual awakening that we awaken others be it through art, music, poetry, our community service, or simple showing kindness. You can be a hero simple by supporting a cause or keeping your word and living a righteous life. In my life I have found that I have a gift for writing and when I share this gift through my poetry I not only enrich the lives of others but I also enhance my own life. In my writing it is my desire to provide hope and healing to those who read it and to be seen as a hero in their life.

Hope has become a theme of mine as evidenced by my involvement with The American Cancer Society Relay For Life. Shortly after Hurricane Katrina I wrote the following poem as I wanted to give hope to those who were affected by this devastating life occurrence. I then wrote Hope Prevails II to illustrate more of what was happening in the world.

Spiritual Awakening: Making Memories!!!

 Today I was thinking about spiritual awakening and that each time we walk our path and each time we shine our light that we are making memories. It is in documenting the memories that we begin to grow and learn for we can see the good times and the challenging times. When we face the challenging times and come through them then we are able to share our story with others and inspire and empower others to take action. We can so it through songs like this by Warrant and create anthems to live by or be awakened by. Sometimes we try to go back to the way we were and then we realize that there is no going back, however any positive memories can be used to drive us forward and make our experiences brighter as we answer our calling.

 As I watched this video I was reminded that we all have a power to inspire and empower and to create memories and leave a legacy for others. It is stepping into this power that we truly expand and impact the lives of those we come in contact with and beyond. It is creating and coming alive that we begin to leave memories that will enhance the lives of others.  In many cases we will be able to pay tribute to those who helped us create these memories. Today hug a loved one if you can and if they are far away visit www.feelthehugs.com and send them a virtual hug. If the person who helped you to create memories is deceased step outside into nature find a quiet place and thank them. As you sit in silence showing gratitude you will receive messages that will assist you in creating more memories.

 As Jim Croce teaches us that many times all we have are photographs and memories, however sometimes the photographs are lost and all that we have are the mental pictures of the way things were. In loss the greatest of photos you realize just how important your memories are.

 Many times we can take a moment to put on a song like this from Barbara Streisand, take out our pad and start to free write and thus create a legacy for others so they see who we were and what we did. In making memories we begin to touch lives, and show people that dreams can come true. We shine our light and others see our light and become inspired to create memories and as these memories are encrypted into our brains we draw on them to propel us forward on our journey to create those memories.
 

 As the day progresses be glad and rejoice in it making memories.

 

 As you make memories let them be positive and beneficial to all people. Remember what you do for others lives long after you are gone so leave a good memory.
