As one becomes more and more aware and awake through the spiritual awakening process it is important to take things one step at a time. It is imperative to not focus to much on the past as you can not change what happened you can only learn from the occurrences in the past. It is also essential to not focus to much on the future as you may not be able to control the outcome. This leaves you to focus on the present and to take the steps necessary to move forward in a positive direction of your dreams. There will be times when you face some setbacks however you can take solace in knowing that if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it. As you grow personally, professionally, and spiritually you will find that everything you seek is being provided for you as the universe will conspire to make sure you are given every resource to assist you in manifesting the life you desire. As you take one step at at time you will become stronger and thus you will attract more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life.
As you experience a spiritual awakening it is important to understand that you should not back down nor bow to negative forces or situations that may be rearing their ugly head. It is imperative to constantly stand on your spiritual ground and walk in your truth so that you will enhance your personal, professional, and spiritual life. Regardless of the situations that are being thrown at you you need to stand up and understand that if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it. In today’s world where social media seems to rule the day and people resort to name calling and defriending or unfollowing you take a step back and think how Jesus must have felt as he faced many detractors. Jesus didn’t back down and as a result paid the ultimate price with his life leaving a legacy of standing in faith and truth for others to follow. Think about all those who didn’t back down and stood their ground by taking action to affect change and all they had to endure. In the end they were met with success. In today’s world there are two types of people action takers and excuse makers. Which one will you be? It is important when you commit to not back down that you do it your way.
The day you awaken spiritually and commit fully to taking action to improve your personal, professional, and spiritual life by putting it all on the line is the day that you see that you can reach heights that you never thought imaginable. When you decide to reach down deep inside and tap into your inner divinity you will find that things in your life work out. As you reach into your heart you will find the power in your dream.
In laying it all on the line and believing in the power of the dream you will begin to find yourself attracting more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. It is said that what the mind can conceive and the heart can believe you can achieve. I have experienced this first hand on many occasions as I have reached out to sports teams to be there Public Address Announcer believing that I was good enough to be in the broadcast booth. As a result I have secured many announcing gigs. If you can dream it you can be it.
If you truly want to lay it on the line you must be motivated, inspired, and empowered willing to let go and let GOD. In life we will face many challenges but when we lay it on the line by understanding that if GOD brought us to it GOD will bring us through it we will achieve the greatness that is our birthright. What stops many people from laying it on the line is the thought created by fear that asks what if it doesn’t work. How about you change that to what happens if it does work. Many times we don’t lay it on the line because of past experiences that have occurred and the blockages that have been created as a result. One thing that is necessary to lay it on the line and become an action taker is to clear the blockages that have created emotional baggage that is weighing us down. When you begin to remove the thoughts and things that are stopping you from laying it on the line you can begin to move forward in a positive direction of your dreams.
Sometimes while we are traveling on our spiritual journey we may lose our way and forget our purpose and thus we become disconnected with GOD and we get knocked down. Life is going to hit us hard at times and it is in these times that we must dust ourselves off and get back up again by realizing that if GOD brought us to it GOD will bring us through it. It is when we fall that we must take action to get back up and use the challenge as a learning opportunity. In getting knocked down we should land on our back because if we can look up we can get up. In getting up and becoming reconnected we will see things differently and do things differently to provide for a better outcome.
When we feel like we have been defeated that is when we must reach down deep inside and connect with our inner divinity and stand in our power knowing that GOD wants us to be great and prosperous. In the face of adversity we have a chance to change and to come alive and become stronger physically, mentally, and spiritually. We have the power to change and the opportunities to reach heights in our personal, professional, and spiritual lives that at one time we could only imagine. When we leave our expectations at the door and detach from outs we begin to face everything and rise. By standing up and stepping into our power we begin to move forward in the positive direction of our dreams. It is when we eliminate the false evidence appearing real that we are able to rise to a level of accomplishment that only a few will ever achieve. Over the years I have learned that it is not how many times you get knocked down but how many times you get back up.
In becoming an action taker during the spiritual awakening process an important lesson is to do what you believe in your heart and to shake off the negatives or the perceived setbacks. Sometimes what we perceive to be a setback is actually an opportunity to shake it off so that we can move forward in a positive direction toward our goals and dreams. Ask yourself am I getting caught up in the setbacks or am I focusing on the lessons and moving forward? If you are dwelling on the past and projecting tot he future you are creating blockages that are stopping you from having the life of prosperity that is your birthright. Many times we get so caught up in the actions of others and their lack of action that it stops us from shaking it off and and taking the action to manifest the life we desire. Sometime we must commit to shaking it off and not allowing anything to stop us from getting in touch with our own divinity so that we can find the purpose that GOD has for us and thus we can take action to live a life of purpose.
When you adopt the anthem that nothing or noone will stop you from your spiritual evolution of making the mind, body, soul connection you will find that the universe conspires to give you all the tools necessary to enhance your personal or professional life. When you are in a spiritual path and allowing yourself to be divinely guided nothing will stop you from moving forward and achieving the greatness that you have inside of you. Sometimes you must look at a set back and shake it off and know the only one that can stop you from achieving your goals and dreams is you. A great example of this was yesterday (4/14/2015) when I self sabotaged my food decisions as I stopped for 2 slices of Sicilian Pizza, 2 large sausages, and a walnut brownie and started to beat myself up about it and then realized it was my choice and that I must shake it off and remember that when I put good nutritious things into my body I feel better. I must shale off the emotional charges or reprogram the emotional attachment that these types of food have so that I can make a oneness consciousness that keeps me in alignment with my purpose. We all have challenges and it is when we face the challenges and shake them off that we are able to stay committed to our spiritual growth so that we create the life we desire. Sometimes it is a must to shake it off and lay it all on the line and don’t worry what others will think and just go for it and put yourself out there.
When you lay it on the line an just go for it with out any attachments or expectations the results are generally better than you could have ever imagined. Sometimes we get so caught up in what others are going to say or do that we stop ourselves and remain stifled. Stop stifling yourself and commit to your spiritual and personal development.
As school started today in South Florida I began to reflect on all the dirty deeds that I did while in high school and the lessons that these deeds contained. From 1979-1983 I was a bit of a rebel and my rebellious actions often landed me in Internal Suspension. This rebellious side also led to many good deeds being done as I was able to reflect and turn the rebellious side into a positive side. It was when I decided to take action and confront my rebellious side that I had an awakening of sorts that kept telling me there must be a better way. As I matured I began to understand that the dirty deeds needed to stop and the good deeds had to take over. By committing then to do good deeds and to be of service and value I began to see a more positive shift in my life. As I began to walk a spiritual path and do what was right in my heart I began to grow and great things started to happen. I was beginning to feel fulfilled as I was helping others and as a result I was helping myself. I began to get recognized for my good deeds. It was when I decided to change that my life began to change. In 1983 I was accepted to 4 colleges, University Of Maryland, American University, Stetson University, and Hofstra University. I chose Hofstra and in The Fall of 1983 I began a journey that would change my life. In 4.5 years I would learn so much about myself and I would see that I was evolving asa spiritual being. My ways of doing things were a bit different and yet highly effective. As I look back on the deeds done in college I can tell you that most of them were good and changed some lives. In 1989 I joined The Jaycees.Junior Chamber of Commerce and learned a lesson that I use as a mantra today That Service To Humanity Is The Best Work Of Life. One of the things that I learned through out the spiritual awakening process was that we weren’t born to follow.
As I began to embrace the fact that we were not born to follow that we were born for a purpose and to lead I realized that the best leaders are the ones who allow others to aspire to leadership roles. Some will say that we all ca not be leaders and the truth is that yes we can as we can lead our lives as leaders in our lives that we can do what we believe in our heart and follow our heart. The only two people we have to follow is GOD and yourself. If we tap into our genius and step into our power we will lead the life that GOD has prepared for us and no one else’s life. So many time we are told what we should do or what we have to do by people that don’t understand that we were not born to follow we were born to stand out. To these people I say I will do what I believe will honor GOD and myself and all will work out in the end as it is divinely planned. In many cases we must detach ourselves from those who want us to follow and we must take the path that GOD has provided for us. It is when we learn to hold on to our dreams that we are able to understand the plan that GOD has for us and to better follow his plan by doing the deeds he has set out for us.
