Spiritual Awakening: The Crazy Mixed Up World!

 

My world got a bit crazy and mixed up today. The day was going great and I was following my passion to help those touched by cancer when in a blink of an eye things got crazy outside of Starbucks. I had just finished making a call pertaining to my work of me helping to open a new rainbow store and was approached by a young man begging for money. I told him I wouldn’t give him money but I would pray for him and give him a list of place where he could go to find work. He went off an started to get belligerent and my human side got in the way as fear overtook me I pushed him and started to walk back into Starbucks. He came at me and that is when two Starbucks employees came out and helped me to get back inside with out further incident. I then took many a deep breath and realized we live in a crazy mixed up world and there are many angry misdirected people around us. I then found some gospel music like this song and started to pray that the young man would get the help he needed to exercise any demons that were stopping him from stepping into his power and evolving in his personal, professional, and spiritual life.

As I reflected on the situation I was reminded that GOD loves a cheerful giver and that when approached the next time I will offer food and a beverage and a chance to fellowship. If this doesn’t work I will walk away and say a prayer for the person who is coming from such a position of lack that they are broken in some way. Unfortunately in our human existence we will encounter a few people who have become so broken that they don’t realize that they are a divine child of GOD and that they have a power and talent inside that once they tap into that inner divinity it will propel them to greatness in their personal, professional, and spiritual life.  I have to learn to be more like a peaceful warrior when dealing with the outer influences of this crazy mixed up world.

Spiritual Awakening: Walking On Sunshine!!!

 During what may seem to be the gloomiest of times in our lives we have the ability to awaken spiritually and create a walking on sunshine mindset. It s when we choose to see the good in all that is happening for us that we begin to evolve personally, spiritually, and professionally.  It is a matter of what we choose to focus on that will determine how far we journey on our spiritual path as we continue to create the life we desire.  I used to look an how many people saw my posts about Relay For Life and wondered why they weren’t donating at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg3 then I shifted to an attitude of gratitude and started to show gratitude for those that did visit the website and donate. It was when I decided that no matter what happens I will have a walking on sunshine attitude and detach from any negative thoughts that enter into my mind. I have learned that those meant to donate will donate and by detaching from the outcome the goal I set will be reached by the action that I take. It is when we change our mindset from limiting beliefs to limitless beliefs that that we begin to get that walking on sunshine feeling that allows us to expand and grow thus making a mind, body, soul connection. In having a walking on sunshine attitude we open up the channels that will lead to us having much peace, love, joy, and prosperity in our lives.  As you awaken in the morning create a walking on sunshine mindset and look at how your day unfolds.

I have found music like this is a great tool to remind us that things will get easier all we have to do is let go and let GOD. I have learned through my own spiritual awakening that if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it.

Spiritual Awakening: We Are One!!!

 One day when the world has a spiritual awakening we will all realize that we are one. We are all made in the image of GOD with a divine purpose and calling and must honor and praise GOD and be of service and value to those we come in contact with so that we can create a world that is full of positivism. We muss start by checking our ego at the door and seek ways to improve the lives of others thus improving our own lives personally, professionally, and spiritually.  One day we will see only positive things being reported on the news and people beginning to help one another. This shift can occur if we all begin to subscribe to Don Miguel Ruiz’s Four Agreements.

The Four Agreements | Quilting JetgirlImagine if we had these four agreements plastered all over our schools, in our government buildings, and in public places and started a movement to create more positivism in our world. Imagine of we started to look beyond the outer and into the inner and saw people as divine children of GOD and began to interact with people and finding ways to help each other. What if we put all of our preconceived notions and judgments aside and started getting to know people on a cellular level and connecting with positive vibrations. Things would get easier and brighter.

Each day we all have an opportunity to make things easier and brighter our actions can create an avalanche of positivism that leads to hope and healing.  each day we wake up we should ask ourselves what can I do to add value to someone else’s life. By helping others and being a lifter you will be lifted. When we realize that times are changing and we must be more loving and compassionate our world will change.

Spiritual Awakening: Anger Be Gone!!!

 In the spiritual awakening process sometimes we transgress on our path so that we can can get refocused and understand that the path we walk is guided by GOD and sometimes GOD put challenges in front of us so that we can grow in mind, body, and spirit. Sometimes along our path we encounter those that are not as enlightened as we and thus conflict can created leading to anger as our human side begins to interfere with our spiritual teachings. This was the case on Super Bowl Sunday (2/1/2015) when I entered the big card room in my clubhouse to share information about POINTS FOR THE CURE FOOTBALL EDITION where people would pick The Patriots or The Seahawks and after the game visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 and donate $.25 (25 cents)per point the team they chose scored. The money raised would be donated to The  American Cancer Society Relay For Life to help cancer patients, their friends, and their families by funding research, education, advocacy, and services. I though since I live in a 55+ community where most everyone knows someone touched by cancer that this idea would go over very well. Boy was I mistaken the minute I stepped foot in that room you could feel the tension you would have thought I was taking their condos away. They jumped all over me saying this wasn’t appropriate, they were not interested, and this is a private party. I felt the anger but instead of walking away I violated the spiritual teachings  and got angry and confrontational. This really upset me because I know better and I know that when you take action and follow your passion you will encounter resistance. I also know that what you focus on expands. All through out the day today their was a weight on my mind, body, and soul because I felt that I went against all the teachings of GOD, Jesus, my angel guides, and the ascended masters. It was at about 7:00 PM that the pain started to subside as I went outside into nature and asked JESUS to forgive my trespasses and to remove the anger I was holding onto. I then meditated and asked the anger to be gone. As I came out of the meditation I realized that I can not go back and undo what was done yesterday but I could commit to moving forward and becoming a  better version of myself. I then reminded myself that sometimes the best thing to do is to simply walk away and not interact with people who appear to have negative energy. I must remember that many of the people where I live are on a very low budget and are coming from a mental position of lack and because of their mental beliefs they are angry and bitter and all I can do is pray for them. I have learned that I must shine my light and remind myself t remove the anger I may be feeling as a result of loss.I also must remind myslef that I can not take things personally and get to attached to the outcome.

Pin it Like 1 Visit SiteThe thing that helped me today to allow the anger to be gone was something that I learned while serving as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in The Philippines It is to allow things to unfold as GOD will take care of everything. I realize I do not have to prove myself to anyone and that their will be many that share my beliefs and my desire to help those affected by cancer and there will be those who do not. I must focus on attracting and engaging those who lift me up, support me, and share in my desire to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
