Spiritual Awakening: Oh It’s So Big!!!

 

 As part of the spiritual awakening process we learn that the universe is big. It contains so much energy that when we first contemplate its magnitude we may become overwhelmed. It is at that moment at time that we must step back and examine the actions that we are taking so as to better enhance our spiritual journey. Exploring the universe is much like eating a large meal as you look at the portion that is being offered to you you think oh it’s so big how am I going to eat this then you realize you cane at it and enjoy it one bite at a time.  As you examine the universe and begin to understand how to harness the energy it contains and use it for the greater good you begin to create a oneness consciousness that will assist you in your personal and professional endeavors.  You will find yourself guided to ascended masters who will hold the answers to the questions you ask. You will begin to discover that there are many people who are being placed in your path to guide you to a positive  outcome along your spiritual path. As you continue along your spiritual path you may find forks in the path and you will be guided to take the best path for you.  You may stand at that crossroad and think oh this is a big decision. At that moment it is important to stop, breathe, and ask GOD and the ascended masters to guide you in the right direction. In some cases the message may be to stop turn around and come back to this decision on another day. Sometimes taking a time out and seeking guidance is the best way to allow the spirituality that we posses to become one with the universe.

The Message : why I ran for County Council, my committment, how I ...How many times have you received a message and thought oh it’s so big how can I do that and not gone forward with the message from GOD and The Universal Powers we call Ascended Masters.  I have stated many times before that if GOD brings you to it he will bring your through it. I have seen this so many times along my spiritual path. Recently I was given the news that my radio show, Get Motivated With Jonathan JDOGG Lederman, which airs on www.blogtalkradio.com/hrafnstongradio will be going off  the air and my last show will be on 9/29/2014.  At first I was disappointed but then I realized that GOD has more plans for me. My first reaction tot he decision was oh it’s so big then I took a breathe and realized GOD has bigger plans for me and wants to provide opportunities where I will prosper.

Spiritual Awakening: The World Is Calling!!!

 

 Today’s entry was inspired by a U.S. Peace Corps commercial that I found today. As A returned U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer I can truly tell you that there is something very spiritual about being of service and value in this way. I remember when I filled out the paper work to become a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer and gaining a great insight into my spiritual awakening. For many years I have recited The Jaycees Creed and the second line That The Brotherhood Of Man Transcends The Sovereignty Of Nations  always resonated with me. Now was the time to take this belief and put it into action by becoming a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer.  The paper work was completed and checked and I realized that this was another message from GOD telling me The World Is Calling and It Is Time To Shine Your Light. I took that message and continued on my spiritual journey which would take me to The Philippines for 6 months. In those 6 months I found out more about my inner core than I ever expected. I found myself meditating daily, walking the beach, spread love wherever I went, and looking for ways to be of service and value. In those 6 months I further understood my calling from GOD which was to help other people excel. Each day in The Philippines was a day that led to change and when I returned to The United States in February 2003 I was definitely a changed person with a new found appreciation for that which I had.

 

Spiritual Awakening: Answering The Call!!!

 

 How many times do we allow our human existence to interfere with our spiritual existence and are left questioning ourselves? It is very important after you have a spiritual awakening and  commit to being on a spiritual journey that you answer the call from GOD.  It is said that if GOD brings you to it GOD will bring you through it. GOD will give you a call to answer and it is up to you to answer that call and not let it go to voice mail. As yourself how has GOD called you? Has GOD directed you to be involved in the community? Has GOD called you to use your talents for good? Look around and see the messages that GOD is sending you and act upon them. GOD will give you the tools and allow you to explore what is needed to make you the best person you can be. Many times it will be the same message showing up over and over again. The message from GOD to me over the last month that has been reoccurring was to become organized and plan out my days so that I can move forward with his plan for me, which is to be a beacon of hope for others and to help them excel.  I have learned that when you go as GOD directs you and you glorify him everything will work out. I was reflecting in mediation when I realized all the synchronicities that have occurred in my life and how they were all related to my connection to GOD.

Spiritual Awakening: Honoring Your Commitments!!!!

 When the day of judgment comes and it will come for us all the one thing we will evaluated on is did we honor our commitments. On Sunday 3/23/14 I traveled to Riveria Beach to announce a basketball game for The Palm Beach Pelicans of The Central Basketball League. I did the game and was told I did an excellent job I asked the owner for payment and he told me to wait a minute and I said okay. I was at the concessions area so I couldn’t be missed. He left without paying me and when I confronted him about this he gave me a story about having to take a player to the airport. I said okay come by the WRPBiTV Studios in Boca on Tuesday and drop off the $150 that you promised to pay me. He didn’t show so I asked him again for payment and asked him to come by the studio on Thursday. Thursday came and still no money. I wrote to him and said you have left me no choice but to take this public. He then said you would take this public I said I was going to pay you.  I then thought wow here is someone who professes to own The Central Basketball League and The Palm Beach Pelicans but hasn’t honored his commitment to pay me the $150 that is owed to me. The said part about the situation is that on my way home from the game one of my tires blew out and the $150 would have come in handy to replace the tire and have my oil changed. I was also planning on donating $15 from the $150 to The American Cancer Society Relay For Life. I have learned that not everyone you meet will be as spiritually awake and aware as you are and that not everyone will honor their commitments. When thus happens you have to look at the lesson that was learned and decide what measures to take so others do not get taken advantage of when dealing with this person. I have prayed that the owner of The Palm Beach Pelicans sees the error in his ways and begins to honor his commitments. In taking the action to share this story it is my intention to help those on a spiritual path to protect themselves and make sure people are honoring their commitments.

 In the spiritual awakening process one discovers that the only thing that endures is your character. A coach of mine Shantel Smith taught me that how you do anything is how you do everything and this is so true as you can observe people and see how they act and if they honor commitments and if they do not you know that you are not matching up vibrationally or spiritually and that you may just need to move on and not work with that person as they no longer serve you. Sometimes character is revealed in the height of adversity for one who is willing to sacrifice to honor a commitment is the person you want to work with.

Spiritual Awakening: Blow Me Up!!!!

Today I thought of balloons and how they represent the spiritual awakening process. The balloon starts of empty and then you fill it with air, it expands, and in the end brings joy to those who encounter it. Much like the spiritual awakening process; we begin empty and as we get in tune with our spirituality we begin to expand and as we expand and adopt an attitude of positivity  we begin to bring joy to those we come in contact with and thus we grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. Just as it takes action to blow up the balloon it takes action to create a  world filled with peace, love, joy, and prosperity.  If we are to find peace, love, joy, and prosperity we must be blown up with peace, love, joy, and prosperity. In the awakening process we may adopt anthems that represent peace, love, joy, and prosperity. We may do this with a sign that reads FREE HUGS and hang that sign with a few balloons to draw attention to it  to show those we come in contact with that day that we are walking in our truth and spreading light to all we meet.

Like the Balloon that we fill with helium with a message we must also get blown up with the spirit of the message. If our message is to be peace then we must walk out talk and be peaceful.  One way to blow yourself up is to fill yourself with the message by getting in touch with your own divinity and creating a oneness consciousness with GOD.  In finding inner peace and making the connection to GOD you will begin to create a life filled with peace, love, joy, and prosperity. In answering your calling and spreading your message you will change your life and lives around you by simply coming alive and blowing yourself up with spirituality.

Spiritual Awakening: Using Your Spiritual Eraser!!!

 Today as I sat in Dunkin Donuts with my father and his friends one of the gentleman asked me to delete some of the call history. This had me thinking about having a spiritual eraser. As part of the spiritual awakening process it is very important to begin to let that no longer serves you go. It is time to put your spiritual eraser to work and start again. Look at what you have done and what you have learned take what you have learned and move forward and use your spiritual eraser to eliminate the rest. Take action to release your past and move forward in a positive direction of your dreams by embracing today and living in the moment.  In living in the moment and utilizing your spiritual eraser you will enhance your personal and professional life. The key is acknowledge any mistakes or transgressions that you may have made and forgive yourself and seek forgiveness as you use your spiritual awakening.

Spiritual Awakening: Celebrating Thanksgiving Daily!!!

 Once one has a spiritual awakening and they begin their path to enlightenment they realize that a great part of becoming an action taker is to assume an attitude of gratitude. In creating a daily ritual of giving thanks one creates a vibration that attract the proper people into their circle of influence thus furthering the spiritual awakening process. In creating a daily anthem of gratitude and using word like thank you the tasks of the day flow easier and your vibrational level increases allowing for healing to occur. Gratitude is like the small stone skipped across the water that creates little ripples that become waves and thus shifts energy into a field of positivity and possibilities.  In answering your calling and being grateful for what you do have you will see a major shift or change in your personal and professional life allowing you to come alive and share your divinity with others thus lighting up the entire universe. Thanksgiving may be one day in the calendar year that brings a community together however imagine if you made Thanksgiving a ritual in your everyday life. I am not talking about eating all the fixings that go with the holiday but just taking time to thank GOD for all that he is providing for you. I have come to understand that many times it is our gratitude that determines our altitude. In dealing with all the emotions that come from celebrating Thanksgiving we come to realize that gratitude can be a great tool to helping in furthering our spiritual path and thus creating feelings that attract all that we need to find peace, love, and happiness in our lives.

 This year is the second year without my mother, Judith Miller, who GOD called home on July 5, 2012. The tradition in our family was always to get together regardless of where we all were at the time. There were trips to Williamsburg, Virginia and gatherings at my mom’s house in Coral Springs, FL.  Mom always went out of her way to make the day special for everyone from her special sweet potato pie for me to the cheese cake for my brothers moms love filled the air. I am grateful everyday for the time GOD gave me with my mother. I take solace in the fact that she is now an angel watching over me and providing positive messages of guidance. Though there are many empty chairs at the table this year I know that all those who GOD called home are looking down on me and guiding me with peace, love, and happiness.  I will celebrate everyday for the things I have and show gratitude for all those who have shaped me and molded me.  The fact of life is that we should celebrate  Thanksgiving daily by showing appreciation for what we have and for what GOD continues to deliver to us and for us.

Spiritual Awakening: Savoring A Moment In Time!!!!

 Every moment where we take action is a magic moment. It is in the savoring of the moment  that we are able to continue on the path of spiritual enlightenment.  It is when we awaken spirituality and embrace our divinity and realize that things are happening for us and it is our vibrational attitude that creates these things.  It is in awakening that we become more aware of our purpose and calling and take the steps necessary to succeed in all of our endeavors.

Every year one NCAA Basketball Team is crowned Champion. The anthem for the tournament is One Shining Moment. In 2013 there were many moments that stood out. This brought up the thoughts that win or lose if you give it your all you can create a moment to savor and draw strength from that will propel you forward along your spiritual path. In savoring all the moments good and bad we learn lessons that will strengthen our spirituality as we learn who we are and what we are here for.  As a public address announcer I have had the opportunity to call many moments and I often reflect on those moments as they brought joy to victors. There is something very magical and spiritual when you can be part of moments that will be savored by many for years to come.  Even in defeats there were moments that brought happiness to the game. The idea is to savor and cherish the moments and use them as fuel to bring joy to your life and to the lives of others.

Spiritual Awakening:Finding Inner Strength

Judith Miller My MomSpiritual Awakening: Finding Inner Strength!!!

   Today would have been my mother’s 74th birthday. My mom, Judith Miller, was a strong woman who for 3 1/2 years battled non-operable metastatic lung cancer and on July 5, 2013 due to complications from a massive heart attack was called home to GOD. As followers of this blog and those who know me know that my mom and I were very close. I am honoring her memory by creating a legacy of hope for those affected by cancer by participating in The American Cancer Society Relay For Life and have set up a website at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg1 where people can make donations or you can click on the donate page here.

 During one of our walks with her dog, Charlie, we began to talk about Inner Strength. My mom said to me “Jonathan it is all about your BS (belief system) if you don’t believe in yourself none will believe in you.” I thought about this as we walked and as we discussed what it takes to truly find your inner strength I realized that part od the spiritual awakening process is to peel back the onion and discover how strong you truly are. We returned to her house and we sat out on the patio for a bit and we discussed life in general. I asked her “Mom how do you do it, you have faced adversity and you continue to overcome.” Her answer was “Jonathan I had to be strong for you kids and by being strong for you I became stronger.” I guess this is where my ability to be a lifter of others comes from as my mom was a lifter and an encourager. My mom was the first to mention meditation to me. She was the one to gift me Don Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements. I credit my mom who is now my angel in heaven for putting me on a spiritual path and for helping me to find an inner strength. It is in finding our inner strength that we gain the courage to take action, adopt anthems, and experience a spiritual awakening that enhances our personal and professional lives.

Spiritual Awakening: A New Attitude!!!

 

 Patti LaBelle’s song New Attitude was the inspiration for today’s blog entry along with some of the actions  of people today. I have assumed an attitude of it’s okay we can reschedule or I understand only to be taken advantage of and thus I have decided it is time to assume a new attitude and to step into my power and further my spiritual awakening.  The lesson I have learned is to explain to people that when you book time to come into the www.wrpbitvstudio.com you are making a commitment and based on that commitment you are affecting people’s lives. For so long I have allowed people to reschedule or cancel, well that all stops today as what I offer is of value and if people don’t respect that then they do not get a second chance. I made time for you, booked people to film the interview, and turned down others who requested to be interviewed and what I offer has a great value. It comes down to this you are either serious about delivering your message or you are not. You are either an action taker or you are not.  I too have been guilty of cancelling or rescheduling because I believed that being footloose and fancy free was a way for me, now if I don’t want to meet with someone I tell them straight out I do not want to meet with you and thus they do not waste their time or mine.  I have learned the same thing with my radio show, when I book a guest and they are confirmed and do not call in guess what they don’t get invited back. The key is now to have an attitude that I deserve respect and what I offer is of great value and service to others.

 In meditation I had a spiritual awakening and I share it with you so you will learn from the pain and suffering that I have experienced first hand. The message was JDOGG be kind but be careful. This is my message to you, be kind but not to kind and be careful of who you are aligning yourself with.  If you do not value yourself no one else will value you. This might mean finding and assuming a new attitude. Some may not understand your change and your answering your calling as you come alive and awaken spiritually to understand that your time is valuable, your services have value, and you deserve to be respected. This might mean letting those so called friends in your circle know that you are no longer available to things for free and that everything you do has a value. So many of us on a spiritual path to enlightenment allow ourselves to be taken advantage because of our genuine authentic desire to be of service and value as a result what occurs we get burned because we fear hurting people’s feelings or we are worried about being liked and what people will think. It is time to have a new attitude and value yourself and eliminate those that do not value you and tell them to GO MILK THE GOAT!!!!! This is a term I learned in the Philippines while serving as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer, it basically was their way of telling you to screw off. This may be a harsh attitude but sometimes in order to move forward we need to change our attitude. In many cases changing who we work with and who we surround ourselves with allows us the opportunity to assume a new attitude and thus grow personally, spiritually, and professionally.

Spiritual Awakening: Creating Your Own Energy Company!!!

Imagine being your own Con Edison or Florida Power and Light. Well now you can create your own energy as you embrace the fact that you have had a spiritual awakening and you are understanding more and more that we are all made up of energy. The way we use our energy is very important. I have found that the mornings where I get up in time to step outside and gaze at a sunrise and simply breathe and set my intention have allowed me to become an action taker. On some occasions playing some of the songs that I have made my anthems have created an energetic charge that sets me into a zone of moving forward positively in the direction of my dreams. It is through the awakening process that we find our calling and begin to witness changes in our personal and professional life.

In creating your own positive energy company you begin a journey to spiritual bliss that will propel you to vibrate at a higher frequency. It is when you stimulate those positive electrons that you begin to awaken spiritually and attract the right people into your life because you are vibrating at a higher frequency. One good gauge of the level of your energy company is how things are unfolding through out the day. Look at what energy you are bringing to the table and how people are reacting to it. Through out the day you will adjust the lumens that you are giving off as it is important to remember you will not resonate with everyone, however those that you do resonate with will assist you in achieving your goals and objectives.

The spiritual energy that you create will determine your altitude and how far you climb up the chart towards self actualization. The energy field will expand and create that which you focus on the most. If you focus on doing tasks in a joyful manner you will create a joyful energy field and thus have joy in your life. The  energy company you create is totally up to you. It all comes back to what you give out returns to you.
