Spiritual Awakening: Time For A Change!!!

Jonathan Lederman (@jdogglederman) / Twitter      On May 29,2022 I was discharged from Westside Medical Center after a 6 day stay. In those 6 days I realized that changes were necessary if I was continue to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. I have begun to follow up with doctor’s and am getting on a path to wellness. As I started to reflect on where I am now I came to understand that inorder to be of service and value to others you have to take care of yourself first. In peeling back the onion I have recognized that in my quest to be accepted and to make a positive impact on the world by showing that service to humanity is the best work of life I put myself at risk. As a result I let my health go to where I now have many issues that can  be corrected with lifestyle changes. The IBS, Diabetes,  and Hypertension can be controlled when I take action to release weight and to exercise. The Darier’s Disease ( The Skin Condition I have) can be contolled with dermatological care and using the cream that he told me to use. In the awakening process I have all asked GOD to help me change the things I can to accept the things I can not and to give me the wisdom to know the difference. In making changes I am beginning to come alive again and am makibg sure I put myself 1st so that I can help my community. My journey will not be easy but as I change my mindset and begin to focus on my self care and moving forward in my life I undestand that it is imperative to change.

In my quest to become the best version of myself that I can be I recognize just how important it is to make changes and to let go and let GOD. OVer the last 45 days I have been able to make better choices and have started to listen more to people who know a bit more about about health and wellness instead of being stubborn and yesing everyone to death. It is when we make changes physically, mentally, and spiritually that we beging to attract more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into our lives.

As I have written many times before we are divine children of GOD and GOD wants us to prosper so that we can prosper others. This begins by showing gratitude and praising GOD for paving the way for us and understand that GOD’s plan for us are far greater than our own. As many of you know I haven’t had steady work for about 2 years and have had some finacial challenges but I know this is all part of GOD’s plan for if GOD brings you to it GOD will bring you through it. It is through making changes and allowing GOD, Jesus, The Ascended Masters, and The Angels to guide you that you can have bliss and abundance in your life.  In making changes we recognize that GOD is not finished with us yet.

It is when you commit to making changes after being knocked down that you will be reminded that you are unfinished in GOD’S eyes and he will give you the tools and resources to become a more complete person. We are all works in progress and unfinished thus it is important to make changes when GOD taps you on the shoulder and say it is time to wake up and change your life. One thing you could do is ask GOD to help you to remove that which no longer serves you. In removing things that no longer serve you you will feel better as you are able to make room for better things. It is now time for you to have the courage to change.

Some changes occur when we change our thoughts and discover what was holding us back. After not seeking medical attention for many reasons such as being fearful of what the doctor’s may find I changed my thinking and have begun to embrace my doctor’s visits realizing that with the correct treatments both traditional and holistically that my life will change. In the past I was very reluctant to go to hospitals as many people I know went into the hospital and never came out but now I accept the fact that thus thinking needed to change as my last hospital visit saved me as it put me on a path to see doctors and to get healthier. I was afraid of the expenses as money has always been a concern of mine however I now get the fact that GOD will provide and direct you properly so that you can walk in your truth and have a better life. It is now time for a change.

Being that nothing stays the same it is time to change for it is your chance to shine your light and illuminate the world. You will find that when you start to make positibve changes in your life everything seems to become better for you can reach your full potential by becoming the best person you can be. It is your time to seize the day and make the positive changes so that you can feel better menatlly, physically, & spiritually. Stay Positive!!!! Namaste!!!

Spiritual Awakening: Letting Go!!!

     It is amazing what happens when you awaken spiritually and just let GOD guide you in all that you are doing while in your human form here on earth. The other night I had someone literally tell me to F-off on Facebook after I asked them if they would donate a jersey to use in a silent auction for The American Cancer Society. He then went on to say that there is no GOD and that my mom is worm food as I mentioned that she was called home to GOD on July 5,2012 and was my reason to continue to help those touched by cancer. This morning I was looking for something to write about and the universe delivered this song from Olivia Newton John who is a cancer survivor. I have found that when you let go of the negativity and focus on the positivity while coming from a position of Grace and Gratitude you grow personally, professionally, and professionally.

     When we stand in grace and gratitude we open up many channels that will enhance our lives thus allowing us to be in a position to be of service and value to others. When we decide to take action and come from a position of thankfulness we begin to attract more peace, love, joy, and prosperity. In my journey to show people that service to humanity is the best work of life I have had many supporters and of course there were the doubters, the haters, and the naysayers. In the past I would dwell on what the doubters, the haters, and the naysayers were saying but now I focus on the supporters and the positive feedback that I receive. I have found that by walking in my truth I attract the people and the resources needed to be a lifter and to make my little piece of the world a better place. Through the awakening process I have come to understand that not everyone will resonate with your message however the ones that do will help you to be a lifter.  It is when you let go and let GOD that you begin to find that you are attracting more bliss and abundance into your life. Along your journey there will be challenges and when those challenges appear simply face everything and rise by coming alive and following your calling detaching from outcomes knowing that GOD’S plan for us is far greater than our own and everything will happen as GOD intends it to occur. I have always found solace in music as it has allowed me to let go and let GOD knowing that when I am connected to GOD, Jesus, The Ascended Masters, and The Angels that I vibrate at a level that allows me to focus on positivism.

         After my negative encounter the other night I simply turned to The Newsboys and started to peel back the onion and tap into my inner divinity so as to reconnect with GOD and to take action that will positively impact the lives of others and allow me to let go and set my soul on fire. I have come to understand that I can change some things and others I simply have no control over. Now is time to let go and let go and walk in your truth as a soul on fire.

        As you let go and let GOD and become a soul on fire you will find that you will achieve many of the goals that in the past you may have thought were impossible. Do not let people extinguish your flame keep it burning and shine your light bright for the whole world to see. As long as there is a burning ember  of desire to improve your life and the lives of others you can fan that flame and allow it to be an inferno that propels you to the greatness that GOD has planned for you. There may be times when you feel you don’t want to push forward for you are being bombarded by many things that make this a crazy mixed up world. When that time intrudes on your life simply let go and set your soul on fire to become a positive influence in your community. It is time to let go and believe in yourself understanding that you are a divine child of GOD and that GOD wants you to prosper so you can prosper others.

      It is when you let go and allow GOD to guide you that you begin to have more moments to celebrate. Now is your time time to let go and let GOD. Stay Positive.

Spiritual Awakening: Don’t Conform, Transform!

Most of our life since we came out of the womb we have been told we must fit in and conform when in reality it is the non-conformists who tend to find the most success. When we go deep inside and find our purpose and see what problem we were put on the earth to solve we are able to find our way and our why that we are able to take action and find our definition of success. In American Society we are told it is about wealth and materialistic things when in reality it is about being a lifter and helping others and showing others that service to humanity is the best work of life. Yes money is needed to take care of basic needs like food, shelter, and clothing and yes money will allow you to touch more lives but money should not be your only motivations. Living for the fancy house, the fancy cars, and the fancy clothes only puts restraints on reaching the level of self actualization. It  may be great to have all the materialistic things but these materialistic things can also stifle our ability to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. It is when you arrive at a level where you have wealth that you begin to spread it around to help other people excel. It is when you lift others that you are lifted. I encourage those reading this to make a commitment to transform instead of conforming. Be the person who stands out and shines their light bright for the world to see. Some may look at you a bit strangely but that doesn’t matter because when it is all said and done and that judgement day comes all that will matter is how you served and honored GOD.

We are taught from day one that we have to look fro the future when in reality we must detach from the expectation of the future and live for the moment. We must put the past behind us and stop projecting and simply live in the moment and let GOD’S master plan direct us. It is time to stop conforming and to start transforming. It is time to live our lives on purpose and turn our dreams into reality.  It is good to have a plan of action however you must be willing to tweak this plan accordingly so that you can achieve what you perceive as success.  I have come to understand that you must be motivated by your inner divinity and allow that inner divinity to guide you along your spiritual path so that you can grow personally, professionally, and spiritually.

Spiritual Awakening: Don’t Turn Back!!!

 

In many of the spiritual teachings there is one common truth that if you are truly to evolve spiritually you must let anything that no longer serves you go. You must take action to eliminate all things that block you form experiencing peace, love, joy, and prosperity in your life. In many cases it means moving on from jobs and activities that you thought were helping you but in reality were only hindering you. If you are to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually you must be committed to moving forward and not turning back. I have  learned many important lessons over the last few weeks. One of those lessons was to truly research who you associating yourself with so as to avoid being taken advantage of in your personal and professional life. I have learned that if you do not value yourself no one else will and if someone doesn’t value you it is time to say to bad, so sad, don’t let the door hit you where the good lord split you and then do not turn back. I have began to implement Don Miguel Ruiz’s Fifth Agreement and question everything. I have begun to peel back the onion and see things for what they are. I have also come to realize that there are many people who will claim to come from a spiritual base but in reality are only using the guise of spirituality to get over on others. I have also learned that when deciding to move on and not turn back it is goof to consult GOD, The Angels, and The Ascended Masters.

 Whomever you have a spiritual relationship with call it GOD, Jesus, Spirit, Source, Jehovah, or anything else it is important to tap into your inner divinity and not look back once you have committed to let it go and not turn back. If we look forward and commit to living a righteous life and being of service and value we will see some divine changes in our life that will help to create a oneness consciousness that then allows us to shine our light and illuminate the world. Along the way there will be people who are not as evolved as you who will try to use you for your spiritual gifts not understanding that your spiritual gifts have value. There will be those who pretend to appreciate you but in reality they are only using you so it is important to discover this and eliminate these people as they will not be of service to you in your quest to be a global citizen of the world spreading peace, love, joy, and prosperity everywhere you go. Let these types of people go and don’t turn back.

Spiritual Awakening: I Like It On Top!!!

As I awaken more and more through the spiritual awakening process I realize that it is not about rankings but the feeling you have when you see yourself as being on top of the world. A few years ago I was asked JDOGG how is it that year in and year out you are a top ranked fundraiser with Relay For Life? My answer was that because I don’t put being #1 as a goal and I just take action and allow things to flow as they are intended to flow according to GOD’S plan. I stated once that I wanted to be #100 in fundraising because if I raise $2,500 and 99 people are ahead of me that means we impacted more lives and raised more funds for research, education, advocacy, that will save loves. This philosophy has helped me to become more successful in my fundraising activities as I feel on top of the world because I am inspiring and empowering people through my activities and showing them that what the mind can conceive, the heart can believe, you can achieve. I have shifted my thoughts about fundraising from I have to raise money to I get to raise money. As a result I have found more success as I now detach from the outcome and am grateful for any donations I receive. I used to get upset when results weren’t what I expected today I just let things flow and happen and do not put expectations on things and as I let go and let GOD I find myself on top of the world.

It is when you know that GOD is for you and no one can be against you that you can be on top of the world. I was sitting in reflection and meditation on Sunday (11/8/2015) and I realized that since I was 11 years old and hosted my first fundraiser that I possess the ability to be on top of the world. As I came out of the meditation I took a walk around my condo and I saw all the different awards I have amassed as I walk in my truth and show people that service to humanity is the best work of life. I saw my National Armbruster Award from The U.S. Jaycees when I was named one of the top 5 Jaycees in America in 1995 and I realized all the action that was taken and how many lives were impacted. The journey to getting this recognition was very challenging but well worth it. I believe this is where I had my first spiritual awakening as I detached from the overall outcome and realized that if GOD wanted me to gain this recognition GOD would make it so and if not GOD had a better plan for me. I then saw my HOPE Award from The American Cancer Society that I earned in 2008 and realized that I made a difference in the lives of those touched by cancer. In 2014 I was awarded The Community Service Award from S.A.K.E. from The City of Lauderhill. All these awards remind me of the importance of being of service and value while walking my spiritual path thus allowing me to feel as though I am on the top of the world.

Spiritual Awakening: Laying The Smack Down!!!

  As I continue to speak my truth and lay the smack down it is my intention to empower and inspire people to take action and find ways to be of service and value to one another. It today’s world where sometimes things seem to be spinning out of control it is important to stop take a deep breathe and commit to not only speak your truth but to walk in your truth and shine your light bright for others to see. It is important to remember that you are a divine child of GOD and GOD doesn’t make any junk. Make it a point to be a lifter and to encourage people  each day. Be the person who shines a bright light on each person that you interact with and share your truth.

 When you begin to speak your truth you will begin to see that GOD will put you in his favor and the message that GOD sends along with The Angel Messages that you receive will be easier to act upon and thus you will be more able to speak your truth and lay the smack down as you move forward the positive direction of your dreams.

When we stay in spirit and walk in our truth and lay the smack down we experience a freedom to co-create with GOD the life we desire as we continue to create a oneness consciousness that allows us to make a mind, body, and soul connection that will expand our ability to be of service and value to others. I have often stated how important it is to remain in spirit and to be loving and caring in all you do as you will be rewarded. In my life I have garnered many awards for being of service and value. In 2015 I was Awarded The Monford Johnson Community Service Award by The City of Lauderhill S,A,K,E. Awards.

Spiritual Awakening: Reach Up!!!

 Today’s blog entry was inspired by The Special Olympics and this new theme song, Reach Up. As I listened to the song I realized just how strong of a message it was and how in tune with a spiritual awakening it was.  I began to reflect on my involvement as a Special Olympics coach and volunteer and how empowering the experience was as I had the chance to work with many inspiring athletes.  As I watched the Special Olympics  World Games and saw the many stories about the athletes I was reminded just how important it is to be an action taker as you continue along your spiritual path.  I remember the first time that I heard The Special Olympics Oath of Let Me Win But If I Can Not Win Let Me Be Brave In The Attempt and thinking what a great philosophy to have in life.many time sit is simply by be brave in the attempt that we step into our power and achieve greatness. It is when we reach up and overcome our limiting beliefs that we are able to make a mind, body, and soul connection that allows us to create a oneness consciousness that creates peace, love, joy, and prosperity in our life.  As I watched the Special Olympics World Games I was moved by the story of Olivia Quigley a Special Olympian who is battling stage 4 breast cancer whose positive approach to life is very inspiring.

It is my hope that this story will move you to push through any challenges that you are facing and allow you make a spiritual connection that will enable you to create the life that you desire. In facing challenges head on we are able to reach up and come alive  and thus make a positive difference in lour community.  I have learned that when we are grateful for what we have that we are able to reach up and overcome the fears that may have created blockages in the past.  When we reach up we are able to fly and thus enhance our personal, professional, and spiritual life.

Spiritual Awakening: Walking In Your Truth!!!

I have found that during my spiritual awakening that life gets real very fast when you stop trying to being something that you are not and commit to walking in your truth. It is when you begin to be truthful with yourself and brutally honest with others that you are able to walk strong in your truth and shine your light.  Today (5/24/2015) I went tout to collect for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of West Boca Raton, www.relayforlife.org/westbocaratonfl and I realized that walking in my truth and getting my story out compels people to help out. I also had the greatest comeback to those who questioned my legitimacy as i stated before your judge please hear my story then look me up and see why I am so passionate about this cause. As I walked in my truth I came to realize that some people just don’t get it and will never think outside the box and are so wrapped up in their own existence that they will never experience the freedom that comes when walking in your truth. I know it must have looked a bit strange seeing a man in a purple shirt wearing purple sneakers with the words beat cancer on them and shorts. Many people didn’t respond positively but then one woman said I will gladly donate I just lost a friend to cancer. We had a nice interaction and I wished her a good day and said GOD Bless You to which she said may  he bless you. I left and realized that it is imperative to embrace my spirituality and connect with my inner divinity and to share my truth.  As I was driving to Starbucks I had a thought of how walking in my truth and being real with myself is serving me. As I parked the car and walked into Starbucks I picked out my spot and began to settle in and then I placed my order. As I sat down I noticed two women who appeared to be spiritual practitioners talking, one got up and then came back looking for her keys. The other lady came in shortly after and I asked did your friend find her keys and do you work in psychology she said no so I asked do you do any spiritual work she said yes and I gave her my business card and at the end the two women hugged me and told me to keep shining my light. I then introduced myself to the two ladies sitting behind me as I was intrigued by their conversation and they were open to learning about my TV Show, The Anything Bucket, which airs on www.wrpbitv.com on Tuesday at 6:30 PM EDT. As they were leaving one said to the other you are young and i said don’t forget to add beautiful to which I was told you are very sweet and it was a pleasure to meet you. By walking in truth one is able to open new doors and to explore new opportunities.

 When you walk in truth praising and honoring GOD you open up your mind, body, and soul to receive the gifts that GOD has prepared for you. It is when you speak and walk in truth that you find peace, love, joy, and prosperity. I have seen this so many times in my personal life. I have long believed that service to humanity is the best work of life and have done my part to help other people excel. As a result I have been rewarded. Years ago a friend of mine was participating in The Leukemia Team In Training Program asking for donations. I donated $18. I was working at The Happy Herald Newspaper at the time and that week I had a great week and one of my sales resulted in a commission of $180.  I gave  from  my heart and gave cheerfully  as my truth is in being a giver. In giving freely without seeking to be rewarded I was rewarded. This comes about when you walk in truth. Through walking in your truth and shining your light you are impacting people and you may not even realize it.
