Spiritual Awakening: Something To Believe In!!!

     It is good to believe in yourself but it is better to know that someone believes in you. As you go through the spiritual awakening it is important to have something to believe in that drives you to grow personally. professionally, and spiritually allowing you to seize the day. If you have something that you are passion about and you take action you will find success as you have something to believe in. Ask yourself what do I have to believe in as I journey along my spiritual path.

      The newsies believed in fighting for better wages and working conditions and they united in the effort and seized the day and through some trials and tribulations they eventually got what they wanted. The newsie are a fantastic example of what can happen when you take action and have something to believe in. It is when you awaken and follow your calling that you enhance your life and the lives of others. My quest to be of service and value to others started at the age of 11 when I hosted a backyard carnival to benefit The Muscular Dystrophy Association. It was through this event that I realized that my core belief system would be to show people that service to humanity is the best work of life. Through out my high school and college years I was involved in many community service projects and I learned that when you believe in causes and become laser focused you begin to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. In 1989 I joined The Jaycees (Junior Chamber Of Commerce) and I was introduced to The Jaycees Creed which has become an integral part of my belief system.

Through the many Jaycees Projects and the leadership training I received I was able to have something to believe in thus allowing me to  continue to move in  a positive direction of my dreams. The Jaycees opened up many doors and gave me the confidence to apply to be a member of The U.S. Peace Corps. I applied to be a member of The U.S. Peace Corps and in June of 2002 I was on a plane to be part of The U.S. Peace Corps Philippines. I was with The U.S. Peace Corps until I returned to The U.S. in February 0f 2003 as I had some medical issues. The U.S. Peace Corps taught me to believe that I could continue to make a difference and that I could break down some barriers that may be holding people back from reaching their full potential. Since my return from the U.S. Peace Corps I have been focused on helping people with cancer through my participation in The American Cancer Society Relay For Life as I believe in helping other people excel.  I have had some great experiences as I have always had something to believe in. I have been knocked down a few times and have encountered doubters, haters, and naysayers but I have always believed that GOD’S Plan is far greater than the plan I have for myself. I have come to understand that what the mind can conceive and the heart can believe you can achieve.

The Power of Expressing Gratitude - Paauwerfully Organized

I believe that when you have an attitude of gratitude you will reach an altitude that exceeds your expectations. Gratitude is an incredible tool for it allow us to increase our vibrations thus attracting the resources needed to create the life that we desire. I have come to realize that when you understand that this is the day that the lord hath made and to be glad glad and rejoice in it that you are able to overcome challenges by facing everything and rising. In believing that if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it you will experience triumph over adversity. When you have something to believe in you find yourself excelling by finding something to believe in.

I know for many of you the last 14 months have been a challenge however I am here to tell you things get easier and if you continue to believe in yourself and you use your talents for good you will find yourself attracting bliss and abundance into your life. When you have something to believe in you will find that everything begins to fall into place just as GOD has intended. One of the teachings that has helped me to continue on my quest to be the best version of myself and to walk in my truth has been The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.

Spiritual Awakening: Getting To Know You!!!

In today’s age of social media and the desire for instant gratification ask yourself when was the last time you actually took time to get to know someone. As I have become spiritually awakened I have made it a point to get to know people on a cellular level so that I can be of service and value to them. In taking action to do this I have found that the more you learn about someone the more able you become to help them in achieving their goals and objectives. I have also come to know that if you help people get what they want you will get what you want. In making a conscientious effort to know people you will find that you grow personally, professionally, and spiritually as you begin to make things more about others than yourself and as a result you find that you attract more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. In getting to know people you are better able to work together for you begin to find out that you are more alike than different thus finding common ground enabling you to work together to make your part of the world a better place.
In getting to know people you are able to band together to affect changes by seizing the day so that at the end of the day everyone is enriched in a personal, professional, and a spiritual way. When you stand up to injustice by getting to know people and embracing the concept that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations you will be able to answer your calling and seize the day.  It is when you get to know people and make them feel that they are important that you create a paradigm shift that leads to positive changes that improve life as we know it. In taking a  stand and seizing the day you will find yourself manifesting the life that you desire. In getting out from behind the computer and getting to know people you will find that not only your life is enhanced but their life is enhanced as well. Sometimes all it takes is to engage in dialogue to find common ground to affect change in the part of the world that you occupy.

Spiritual Awakening: Savoring A Moment In Time!!!!

 Every moment where we take action is a magic moment. It is in the savoring of the moment  that we are able to continue on the path of spiritual enlightenment.  It is when we awaken spirituality and embrace our divinity and realize that things are happening for us and it is our vibrational attitude that creates these things.  It is in awakening that we become more aware of our purpose and calling and take the steps necessary to succeed in all of our endeavors.

Every year one NCAA Basketball Team is crowned Champion. The anthem for the tournament is One Shining Moment. In 2013 there were many moments that stood out. This brought up the thoughts that win or lose if you give it your all you can create a moment to savor and draw strength from that will propel you forward along your spiritual path. In savoring all the moments good and bad we learn lessons that will strengthen our spirituality as we learn who we are and what we are here for.  As a public address announcer I have had the opportunity to call many moments and I often reflect on those moments as they brought joy to victors. There is something very magical and spiritual when you can be part of moments that will be savored by many for years to come.  Even in defeats there were moments that brought happiness to the game. The idea is to savor and cherish the moments and use them as fuel to bring joy to your life and to the lives of others.

Spiritual Awakening: Only The Beginning!!!

 

 The group Chicago delivers a message of spiritual awakening through their song Only The Beginning. Though the song speaks of a new beginning in a relationship the lyric can be applied to our spiritual awakening and the spiritual path that we are on as when you awaken spiritually it is a new beginning and when you continue on the path each step is like a new beginning. Another song that speaks of a beginning is The Carpenters, We’ve Only Just Begun.

The Carpenters remind us that when we awakening spiritually our relationship with GOD is a new beginning. As you strive to have that oneness consciousness with GOD it is important to remember each day is a new beginning and to realize it is the day the lord hath made so be glad and rejoice in it. By acknowledging your spiritual awakening and embracing your divinity you will begin to see that this is only the beginning. As you continue to evolve spiritually you will begin to receive and act on messages that will take you to heights that you never imagined. It is said that everything is possible through GOD and this is true as GOD lives in us and through us giving us messages to act upon and deliver to others. It is acknowledging that we have only just begun that we begin to set in motion the action that will propel us to our greatness. It is in recognizing your calling and beginning to act on that calling that you will co-create the life you desire.

It only taes 45 seconds to change your vibrational energy. One great way to change you vibrational energy and to create a positive force around you is to use music. I have found songs like the one abpve can help to change a sate of mind and alleviate the negative frequencies. The use of music in your daily life as you live in the present moment will help you to create the life you desire. Music is very powerful and influential as it evokes all types of emotions.

Plato believed that music could help you to unleash your greatness by finding the hidden secrets that lie deep in your soul.

 Even The Cookie Monster knows the power of music. Sometime by shutting off the world you find yourself receiving messages that will help you change the world.
