When the word buffet is mentioned most people think of food and all you can eat. What if I told you there is an endless buffet available to each of us to partake in that will nourish our mind, our body, and our soul. It is the great buffet of life which includes healthy food to fuel our body, knowledge to strengthen our mind, and a divine guidance system to build our soul. When we begin to partake in the great buffet of life we understand that we are divine children of GOD and in order to praise and connect with GOD we must eat what builds our body up and doesn’t break the body down. It is when we take the action to commit to eating better that we will see major improvements physically and mentally. I know that when I am making better food choices I find myself feeling better and thus I am able to be of more service and value to others. So to start enjoying the great buffet of life I suggest you become aware of what you are putting into body and how it is making you feel.
How many times have we said along our spiritual path oh I will do that tomorrow and then realizing that there is no time like the present and that time is ticking away. Many times we wish we could turn back time, however it is when we come to understand that we can not go backwards we can only move forward that we awaken more and more to our spirituality. In becoming awake we can take the measures necessary to take action and not wait another minute.
As I stated we may wish to turn back time but what is done is done so me must move forward by seeking forgiveness and forgiving ourselves. It is in the process of reflection that we can move along our spiritual path and leave our past behind us while living in the present and making a bright future. As we gleam from the past we will find shining moments taht we can draw from that will energize us and propel us to find peace, love, joy, and prosperity.
Each year I watch March Madness and on the final night when they play One Shining Moment I am reminded that all the credit goes to the person who is in the arena. It is when we take action and step into the arena detaching from the outcome that we grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. Through this growth we become better and thus we make the world around us better. There will be bumps and bruises along the way but it is how we face these obstacles that determine how high we will soar when we allow GOD to place us in the arena.
Spiritual Awakening: Trick Or Treating With A Purpose!!!
As I awoke today I was given a message on this Halloween to Trick Or Treat With A Purpose!!!! Though I am 49 years old and a little bit old to go door to door I answered this call from my spiritual guides and began to post the following message on Facebook and Twitter, TRICK OR TREAT Instead of candy I am asking everyone to visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 and donate to help those affected by cancer. I put it out there and detached from all expectations and decided to just let it flow as it may and understand that those meant to donate will visit the site and make a donation. As I continued through the morning posting this message I received the message to go to Starbucks like I do each Friday but instead of giving out hugs today hang a sign that says Strike Out Cancer Today and to dress up as a baseball player and to play the role of relief pitcher. I made a sign on my computer and went to Starbucks, where I am now writing this entry from. Again I am detaching from the expectations and just allowing things to flow and those that are meant to come my table will do so and make a donation and any money collected will be more than I had when I started. The idea is to use the resources we have to Trick Or Treat With A Purpose Today!!! We have a great opportunity to spread our message and to shine our light so that the entire world becomes illuminated.
Imagine there is a knock on the door and as you hand out the candy you hand out sheets with bible verses on them as well. If not bible verses perhaps affirmations or quotes. This will allow you to share your spiritual awakening with others and perhaps help people to either get on a spiritual path or to continue on their spiritual path, You may get some blow back by taking this action to share your message. Another great thing to do is to hand out messages from the ascended masters and explain that Jesus is an ascended master. In using Halloween and trick or treating as a catalyst to spread the word you will be trick or treating with a purpose.
Spiritual Awakening: Changing Your Attitude Changes Your Latitudes!!!!
Today’s blog entry is inspired by Jimmy Buffett who puts an interesting spin on the spiritual awakening process with his song, Changes In Attitudes, Changes in Latitude. I have found that when we change the energy that we bring to a project and become an action taker with a positive attitude and detach from the outcome we find more success and thus reach a higher latitude. Recently I was having what could be perceived as a difficult time in booking guests for my TV Show, The Anything Bucket, which airs on WRPBiTV on Tuesday at www.wrpbitv.com at 6:30 PM EST. As I looked at how I was approaching the situation and seeing that my energy wasn’t at the level it needed to be and made a conscious decision to change the way I was doing things I began to book guests. As I began to understand that part of the spiritual awakening process is to detach from the outcome and allow things to flow everything will fall into the order that GOD has in mind for you. In changing your attitude and not having an attachment to the outcome you begin to create the environment with the proper energy desired to allow you to soar. You have an ability inside of you to come alive by understanding that you have the ability to manifest your dreams by simply changing your attitude and adjusting your sails to move to a higher latitude.
Spiritual Awakening: Robert Frost Delivers Postive Message!
Have you ever found yourself at a crossroads and you had a choice I could follow everyone elses footsteps or I could make my own path and leave my own foot prints for others to follow? Many people find themselves following what others are doing and in many cases regret not stepping up and stepping out. It is when we decide to take the path less traveled by that we often discover our authentic self and create things that we only thought imaginable. How many times have you been told you can’t do that or you are not good enough, how many times have you listened to these statements and not gotten on you path? How many times have you bought into trying to be the next someone instead of being the first you. I was told the other day you can be the next Brent Mussburger as much as I admire him and his work as a n announcer I said thanks but I am going to be the first Jonathan JDOGG Lederman. I have come to realize taht inorder to expand spiritualy and to continue on the path of spiritual awakening that I must take the path less traveled by.
