It is hard to believe but one of the greatest spiritual lessons I learned came 30 years ago when I was competing in The U.S. Jaycees National Armbruster Competition. I had just won The Florida Jaycees State Wide Armbruster Competition and I was focused on being one of the top 5 Jaycees in America. I kept meditating and visualizing how the week at National Convention would unfold then I arrived at The National Convention and decided to just let things go as they may and to control what I could and accept what I couldn’t and do my best to know the difference. This led to me making the top 10 and becoming a finalist. I walked into the room and I boldly and powerfully stated ” You know they give out 5 of these and I plan on taking one and you all can battle it out for the other 4 left.” This began a great understanding of manifestation as I was named one of the top 5 Jaycees in America. The rest of the week was celebratory and as I left and boarded the plane to come home I began to realize how important it was to show gratitude to all those who believed in me and helped me to bring a goal to fruition. Over time during the spiritual awakening process I have recalled the journey and the work it took to become a top 5 Jaycee in The United States and have drawn from the joyous feeling to continue to be bold and powerful in everything that I do.
I have adopted the anthem to be bold and powerful in all that I do and to make a statement that will inspire and empower others and encourage them to also be bold and powerful. I remember being told I was nominated for The S.AK.E. Community Service Award and then informed that I would be presented with the award and the exhilaration I felt knowing that I had stepped into my power and made a positive impact on those I cam in contact with through my work with The Lauderhill Broncos of The Pop Warner Football Program. During my speech I stated that it is better to build children than it is to repair adults and the audience erupted in applause. As I left the stage that night I understood that when you take action to be of service and value great things happen. A few weeks later I had a vision of designing a pair of sneakers to wear during The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton, which are pictured here. I have since met a designed who now has them available on her website at www.justginnie.com in the footwear section. It was great to see that being bold and powerful has led this vision to come to fruition and thus I am able to further my mission to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. We all have the power to do great things, however sometimes we get tied up in the what ifs and the I can’ts that we do not take action and thus do not bring our projects to fruition and we stifle our spiritual growth. Ask yourself why am I not being bold and powerful? After you find the reason find tools to help you become more bold and powerful.
As I turned the calendar and saw a new month I thought new month new beginnings. I then saw it was April 1, April Fools Day, and thought how many people are just joking with their spirituality and professing to believe in something but doing the opposite. This is what inspired me today to write about the the concept that spirituality is not a joke. Spirituality is not something you can turn on or off and use only when it suits your needs. So many people profess to have have a spiritual awakening and then do things that totally go against the idea of being loving and caring and peaceful. I have been guilty of having lapses in spirituality and have allowed my human side to get in the way and hinder me. These blockages have created some challenging circumstances as I have found myself vibrating at low levels filled with anger and many other low level emotions. It is during these times that I begin to realize just how powerful the universe is and how spirituality is now joke. It is at these times that I step back and get myself reconnected to GOD and realize that I am a divine child of GOD and it is his plan not mine that must be followed. I have come to realize that peace, love, joy, and prosperity happen when you come from a place of peace and joy. I have come to understand that being quick to react is not the way to overcome blockages and challenges that one must get themselves back to center and before taking any action take some deep spiritual breaths so that we can move forward on our spiritual path. I have come to understand that is foolish and the joke will be on you when you are not in alignment with GOD, The Ascended Masters, and your angels.
Many times during the spiritual awakening process we will have trials and tribulations so we must remember if GOD brought us to it GOD will bring us through it. We must make a divine connection and realize that what we perceive as mistakes are lessons to learn from so that we can grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. We must come to understand that in order to manifest the life we desire that we must be connected to GOD and guided by GOD and when challenges arise look at them from our spiritual perspective and come at them with love and joy in our heart. The challenge of doing things always in a loving and caring manner is tough because many people we come in contact with will not get us or resonate with us and thus may create blockages because we get caught up in their drama instead of detaching ourselves from the situation and allowing GOD and The Universal Powers to guide us. I have found that when I am presented with a tough situation that I do my best to understand the other person and show compassion but sometimes my human side just wants to slug someone. When this occurs I must remember that violence and anger only lessen my vibration and decreases my ability to be of service and value to others so I retreat to my comfort place which is any quiet place in nature where I can sit in silence and reflect and relax and rejuvenate so that I can improve and not be foolish in my actions.
Most of the roads I travel take me back to GOD’s door and when I knock it is always answered it is answered with much love ad GOD loves us all and wants to show us love so we can show others love and put then on a path to personal and spiritual growth so that we can share our journey with others and have them share in our peace, love, joy, and prosperity. As we travel our road we can create a oneness consciousness as long as our actions on these roads lead us to praise and honor GOD. In honoring GOD through prayer and praise we widen the road and enhance the path to GOD and thus secure a place in his kingdom that helps us to grow in mind, body, and spirit and thus enables us to be of service and value to others. Sometime we must take it slow and ease on down the road and remove our burdens so that GOD can carry us through his messages that he is constantly giving to us. Sometimes GOD’s messages come in the form of traffic jams, detours, and closed road giving us an opportunity to learn patience, or choose a new and better path, or simply shutting the things out of our life that no longer serve us. In staying on the road that lead’s to GOD’S House we are given the tools and opportunities to grow and prosper.
In easing down the road and stopping to rest we often find that the answers we were seeking were not in the outside world but were inside of us all the time. In easing down the road and heeding GOD’S messages we get in touch with ur inner divinity and thus can share our divinity with others and bring them along on our journey so that not only is our life improved but the lives of others are improved. In taking a time out to ease on down the road while being centered and balanced we open up many channels to receive the messages that are intended to help us create a joyous and prosperous life. There will be trials and tribulations as we ease on down the road but those meant to be of positive assistance will be sent to us and thus everything will be greater as we are guided by GOD’S Love as we ease on down the road. In easing on down our road we must understand that all we seek and all we desire has already been provided for us it is duty to claim that which serves us and eliminate that which does not serve us.
GOD has provided us with the tools we need to create a positive life for ourselves. It is up to us to open the door that we find when we ease on down the road. All we need is inside of us and it has been there from the beginning of time. We must not look at what we do not have and what others have but what we must look at is all that GOD has given us and how we are going to use GOD’S Gifts to lead us and thus make our world and the world around us a better place. Our lives are like a highway with many exits and many times we must take a different exit so that we can find out who we truly are. Sometimes we must change our plans and just let things flow knowing that with GOD as our co-pilot everything will work out. I begin my daily journey by saying thank you and reciting that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens me. As I do this most of my days are joyful and prosperous. There have been some accidents along my highway but each one contatined an important lesson and each lesson learned has helped me to grow in spirit and understand that I have a purpose to help other people excel and that when people are ready to join me on my road they will and then I will be able to drive my highway all night long.
When you can create universal heartbeat of positive impact while undergoing your spiritual awakening you will be able to move forward in a positive direction of your dreams. When you come straight from your heart and you are driven not by ego but by divinity you will see that the mind and body follows and your level of joy, peace, love, and prosperity increase. In leading with your heart you will notice an increased vibration that allows you reach levels that you only imagined. When your action is heart centered as opposed to ego centered you will see the rewards increase. So many times we shut out so many things because we let our ego get in the way and thus our human side interferes with our spiritual side and we hold ourselves back. I have often stated that EGO is edging GOD out and when you do that you close off many channels that could help in your quest to create a oneness consciousness and increase your mind, body, soul connection. I have found tat when I detach from the idea of receiving accolades and money and simply follow my heart that the accolades and money come anyway. I have found that when I am heart centered and simply act from a place of love and joy that I achieve more. In taking action that is heart centered I feel that I resonate and vibrate at a higher level that attracts other loving and caring people into my life that assist me in achieving my goals. One way to lead with you heart is to simply leave your ego at home and realize that you are powerful and you can do great things when you become heart centered and tap into your inner divinity.
Love is inside us all in our heart and when we release it and believe in it we achieve things that we never thought possible. When we lead with our heart and we see things from a position of love we send out vibrations that attract the people into our life who will lift us up and help us to step into our power to unleash the greatness that we have inside. When we realize that love is in the air we can breathe it in and out and be loving and caring in all that we do so as to experience great results. If you display a loving and caring attitude people will show you love and support your efforts. There may be some rejection along the way and some challenges to face but when it is all said and done there will be two questions to answer did you live you life in joy and did your life bring joy to others? If you lead with your heart you will be able to say yes to both these questions and know that you lived a fulfilled life.
Through the spiritual awakening process I have learned the importance to share the favor that GOD has granted to us. A few months ago I entered a writing contest with The United States Junior Chamber of Commerce and wrote a piece abut the impact that The Jaycees had on me. A few weeks later I was informed I was one of the top 5 and won $100. I took $25 and made a personal donation to The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton the other $75 went into my savings account so that when I was favored by GOD again I could help more people. In taking action and sharing the favor GOD has provided to me I have been able to inspire people to visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2. In adopting anthems that allow me to praise GOD I have been able to open up channels to be placed in GOD’S favor and to continue to share his favor with others. I have found that when we share all the good that GOD is doing in our lives we expand in our personal and professional lives and thus we are able to better make the mind, body, and soul connection. I have also found that when I consul the ascended masters like JESUS I get answers that enlighten me while I am undergoing the spiritual awakening process. In sharing favor I am able to answer my calling and live a life on purpose that is enabling me to make positive changes and thus come alive. In coming alive and understanding that I am redeemed I am able to better serve the community and thus detach from outcomes.
In being redeemed and embracing our redemption we are better able to share our favor and help other people to excel as they move forward in a positive direction of their dreams. It is when we embrace our redemption and begin to focus on positive emotions such as happiness we create peace, love, joy, and prosperity in our life.
Spiritual Awakening: Zig Ziglar Leaves Legacy of Inspiration
It was abou 10 AM on 11/28/12 when the news came across the wire that Zig Ziglar, The Great Motivator, made his transition at age 86. His lessons will live on for many years as they have been written and recorded and they will resonate as they make sense. Think about the first quote as it shows us that we can be great if we get started. The 2nd quote is so very true as the law of reciprocity is true. The idea of being motivated everyday is importnat as it propels us to success. As I reflected on Zig Ziglar’s teachings I began to think about the idea of being inspired and inspiring others.
On way to inspire others is to do good deeds. By helping others you begin to find yourself as you find a joy in the knowledge that your act of love and kindness enhanced someome’s life. One of the good deeds that I do each year is particpiate and emcee The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton. Self discovery is a great way to find your talents to use to be inspired and to inspire others. If you have a great smile share it and see what happens. It is when you begin to be your authentic self that you are able to enhance your life and then enhance others.
