Spiritual Awakening: Quenching A Thirst!!!

As I opened up my lemon lime Gatorade this morning (11/24/20) I started to think about the importance of quenching your thirst and staying hydrated so that you can embrace the spiritual awakening process. I have come to understand that if you thirst for something and it is going to enhance your personal, professional, and spiritual life you must find ways to quench your thirst. If you thirst for peace, love, joy, and prosperity then you must become peaceful, loving, joyful, and prosperous. The question is how do you maintain a positive outlook while evolving as a person dealing with so  much noise around you pulling you in all directions? The answer is to drink from the goblet of gifts that GOD has provided to you so that you can create a life filled with bliss and abundance. With all the uncertainty in the world today one thing remains constant and that is the fact that GOD wants you to prosper so you can prosper others. In quenching our thirst and the thirst of others we begin to open up channels that will allow us to step into our power and achieve the greatness that GOD has in store for us. I know that many people are hurting right know and are thirsty thus we must help them to quench their thirst so that they can face everything and rise.

       When we quench our thirst by drinking from the silver cup we are able to connect with GOD and be directed on our spiritual path with the strength and courage needed to make a positive impact in our lives and in the lives of others. When we drink from the silver cup we acknowledge the power of GOD and GOD’S plan for us which is far greater that the plan we have for ourselves. In quenching our thirst and drinking from the silver cup we recognize the transfer of power from GOD to ourselves which allows us to tap into our inner divinity and thus manifest the life that GOD has planned for us. In tapping into our inner divinity and recognizing the divinity in others we can come together and quench each others thirst therefore allowing peace, love, and understanding to rule the day.

     In quenching our thirst and the thirst of others we are able to bring forth a community where kindness is the priority. It is when we put aside our differences and understand that we are all divine children of GOD thirsting to be loved and successful. I have come to realize that the answers we are seeking to quench our thirst are all around us all we have to do is to wake up and become more aware of the messages that GOD is sending to us. It is our duty to be driven by GOD, Source, Spirit, Jesus, The Angels, and The Ascended Masters so that we can become heart centered and quench our thirst.

    It is now our time to quench our thirst and take control by following GOD’S messages and using the time that we have on this earth  to become a become a beacon of hope and love for others to be guided by as they continue on their journey to quench their thirst. It is time for us to drink in the positive energy and to become that light that drives out the darkness that may be creating blockages for people that seek to reach their full potential. The last 9 months have taught me that the best way to overcome adversity is to face it head on and allow GOD to sort everything out. I have learned to let go and let GOD and to follow the messages that GOD is sending. I have also come to believe that when you are seeking to quench your thirst that the universe will provide the sources needed to fill you thus allowing you to move forward in a positive direction of your dreams.

     Once our thirst is quenched we are commanded to move along our path with strength, courage, and enthusiasm to lift others by shining our light and illuminating the world. Let this be a time of unity, hope, and healing as we quench our thirst to be of service and value to others so that we can continue to elevate ourselves and glorify GOD. Let today and everyday be a day where when you lay down to sleep you can say yes I lived my life in joy and my life brought joy to others. May you continue to quench your thirst and grow personally, professionally, and spiritually by seeking answers. Stay Positive!!!

Spiritual Awakening: Winning In The End!!!

     In today’s turbulent world where everything has turned into a debate it is imperative that we understand the importance of winning the spiritual battles that are being fought in our daily lives. It seems that we as a society have lost our way as we are being forced to choose sides and thus a division has widened between all of us as we have forgotten that we are all divine children of GOD and GOD wants us to prosper and be great. We have taken things to the extreme wanting to cancel those who have different view points than we do. One can not even buy GOYA products without some making judgments and violating the 3rd agreement from Don Miguel Ruiz. Due to COVID-19 there is a division of the pro mask people and the anti mask people when in reality we don’t know if wearing a mask or not wearing a mask really helps. People have simply lost their minds and lost their way as they continue to battle over many things that in the end do not and will not matter. If we are to win in the end we must look beyond the outer and seek to connect on a cellular level with the inner divinity that each of us have inside of us.

Instead of getting caught up in the media narratives and the negativity become an action taker that will positively change the world one person at a time. Instead of spewing hate and vitriol at those who disagree with you seek to get to know them and find common ground. If we are to win in the end and make our world one that is harmonious that focuses on compassion and kindness we mus awakening by answering our calling and becoming the change we want to see in the world. Our nation (AMERICA) is fractured and if we are to heal the nation we must commit to winning together. In order to win we must teach people how to love themselves so that they can spread love to others. If we are to be winners we must put aside labels and understand that each of us has a spiritual gift and that when we use that gift to be of service and value to others we all win. If we are to win we must get back to the spiritual teachings of the ascended masters and understand that not everything has to be a debate. If wee are to win in the end we must come together and work to recognize the divine in everyone.

Let us stop the fighting and start uniting. Let’s stop allowing ourselves to be triggered by all the media hype. Imagine if the media didn’t push the divisiveness narrative and if we didn’t buy into the way that people are trying to keep us fighting and instead we focused on positivism and worked for the common goal of empowering and inspiring others by being kind and compassionate. While we change the narrative and what we focus on we must also change the mind set of people and show them that they the power to make positive change. What if instead of showing all these “KAREN” Videos we showed videos of people coming together to help others. What if instead of fighting we united in finding a common ground where it doesn’t matter about being right or wrong but about doing the right thing.

    We win when we let go of wanting to be right all the time. We win when we start to help other people. We win when we get back to a spiritual base that allows us to be peaceful in all we do thus attracting peace, love, joy, and prosperity into our lives.  We win when we decide that everyone has a value and it is up to all of us to make that person feel valued. In these turbulent times we win when we show respect to one another. When we stop arguing and find that we are more alike than we are different we win.

The best way to win is to let go and let GOD. GOD will guide you to victory. Though we may be going through a fire GOD will protect us and help us to win as he helps us to step into our power and achieve the greatness that he has prepared for us. Spiritual Awakening: It Takes All Types

As I continue to evolve spiritually and become more and more aware and awake I understand that it takes all types of people to help you grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. Today (3/20/2019) I had to take care of some banking and as I walked into TD Bank I was greeted with a nice welcome and the lady behind me commented on how nice it is to have some pleasant people in the world. We began to talk and I told her about how I was seeking employment and she took my card. This set the tone for the rest of the day as I went out to promote The American Cancer Society Relay For Life. As I was out collecting donations and promoting Relay For Life I encountered some nice people and not so nice people. I fully understand that I am coming into someone’s office or place of business unannounced however it doesn’t take a big effort to be nice. I have come to realize that some people are not going to vibrate at a high level thus they won’t understand the laws of reciprocity and other teachings that can bring them to a higher level. Sometimes we miss out on opportunities to make a spiritual connection and to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into our lives because we get so caught up in ourselves that we don’t take the time to listen to others and see how we can be of service and value to one another. So many times we put our defenses up and start to make excuses that we miss out on a chance to enhance our personal, professional, and spiritual life.

I have come to understand that when I walk into an office or place of business where I am not known that I will be treated in a strange way by some and a nice way by others for everyone will not resonate with me message. It is amazing to me how many people are quick to judge or throw up roadblocks and those same people then wonder why things are not as good as they can be for them. I have found that those who are open and come from a position of gratitude manifest peace, love, joy, and prosperity in their lives. I have come to learn that sometimes it is better to simply understand that it takes all types and that some will, some won’t, some waiting, so what, next. I have realized that sometimes in pushing your views it is like wrestling a pig in the mud as you both get dirty but the pig enjoys it so know that there comes a time to walk way and realize that trying to make your point is not going to serve you and is taking time from you to meet someone who will resonate with your message.

As I encounter those who are quick to judge and give off negative energy I simply hold a place for them knowing that one day they will be ready to get on the path and connect with inner divinity and understand that GOD Loves A Cheerful Giver. Through the spiritual awakening process I have seen that there are action takers and excuse makers. Which one will you be. In the last 9 months since my DAD passed I have seen the generosity of others and the stinginess of some. As a result I am grateful for those who have come forward to help. I currently have a campaign at www.gofundme.com/help-jdogg-save-his-condo-and-more. One donor wrote that she wished it could be more. I wrote back and thanked her for helping. In showing gratitude I am opening more doors to receive and to move forward in a positive direction of my dreams.

As I was looking for something to close out this entry this song was delivered to me by the universe. As I listened to the lyrics I began to grasp the idea that it takes all sorts to make our world a better place. It was when I reflected about the encounters I had today (3/20/19) that I realized that GOD puts some difficult people on your path to teach you the lessons that you need at the time. Namaste!!!

Spiritual Awakening: The Love Boat!!!

As I watched the news, which I rarely do these days as it is fretted with negativity I thought the solution to the world’s problems are simple as it all boils down to getting everyone on board The Love Boat and seeing that we are more alike then we are different. It is a matter of becoming an action taker and making love and kindness part of your daily routine. It doesn’t cost any money to be kind and helpful to one another. If we stop for a moment and stop playing the blame game and commit to being loving and kind in all we do our world will become a giant love boat. It is through the spiritual awakening process that we grow and begin to understand that we are all divine children of GOD capable of much love. I have come to live by a principle first taught by Mother Teresa which says if you can not do great things do small things with great love. In doing so you will find that you start and continue to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life.  It is when we make love one of our core foundations and adopt love songs as anthems that we can all board the love boat and reach the heights that GOD has in store for us. In showing love and doing something as simple as smiling at someone you will create a ripple effect that spreads kindness and increases the flow of positivism thus enriching people’s lives.  I have come to understand that when we board the love boat we must also carry with us and implement The Four Agreements as taught by Don Miguel Ruiz.

In practicing and teaching others these agreements we can begin to come alive and change our world. When we are committed to making a positive difference in the world we can bring people together and a s a result our communities become stronger. If we start to realize that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations and understand that we are all our brothers keeper we will see a positive change in our world that drives out the negativity and as a result our world becomes a better place one person at a time. Many say it is impossible to bring people together because of all the hate that has been festering for years. I say what about all the love that has been given over the years. What if instead of watching the news and all the so called reality shows you turned off the TV and went out and interacted with people and showed interest in them and did what you could to help them. Think of how great this would make others feel and how great you would feel knowing that instead of complaining and pointing fingers you were a lifter and as a result your personal, professional, and spiritual life was improved.

Spiritual Awakening: Live Like A Warrior!!!

As you awaken spiritually you begin to see that living life as a spiritual warrior is what your were meant to do so as to shine a light that will illuminate the world.  In becoming a peaceful warrior whose actions are filled with love and compassion you grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. In understanding the idea that you must stand for something or you will fall for anything you begin to strengthen your ability to make a mind, body, soul connection. In taking action to be a spiritual warrior you set things in motion that will attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. In becoming a spiritual warrior and living like a warrior you start to see that the outcomes you are getting in life are related to the energy you are bringing to the tasks you are performing.

Mother Teresa once said if you can not do great things do small things with great love. Mother Teresa was a spiritual warrior who impacted many lives and taught us many lessons of love and compassion. Mother Teresa taught us that each day we can start over and light a fire that will burn bright to light a path for others to walk so that peace, love, and understanding become the way of the day. Spiritual Awakening: Shake It Up!!!

As you experience a spiritual awakening you will find that your transformation comes quickly when you shake things up. It is when you do things differently that you will begin to see improvements in your personal, professional, and spiritual life. You will endure many people who do not understand you or that are quick to judge simply because they have not learned that judgement only holds them back and doesn’t serve them. I have learned that when I shake things up like using my moniker JDOGG to introduce myself that some will not like it and others will laugh at it but what is important is that I like it and find those who it resonates with so that I can continue to shake it up and spread positivism everywhere I go. When you shake it up and put yourself out there you will encounter detractors, excuse makers, some haters, and some lifters. The key when shaking it up is to find the lifters and supporters.  When you find yourself in a situation where you feel you are being judged simply take a deep breathe and understand that the reaction that you are experiencing has nothing to do with you. Remember when you are shaking it up to be authentic and purposeful while also detaching from outcomes. It is when you allow things to flow that you can shake it up and manifest the results you desire.

When you shake it up you will draw attention to yourself and begin to attract the people necessary to assist you on as you continue on your path to making a mind, body, and soul connection. I have found that when you do things differently and detach from expectations that things work out for the best. It is when you put yourself out there and shine your light that you will be seen and have an opportunity to shake it up by maximizing your message. Look for ways to stand up so that people will help you in your quest to shake it up. In shaking things up their will be challenges as not everyone will resonate with your message, however those meant to hear your message and support will be attracted to you and you will see improvement in your personal, professional, and spiritual life.

Spiritual Awakening: Water Your Spiritual Gifts!!!

I often start my day off with a spiritual bath where I play meditative music and allow the water to wash over my body to cleanse off any negativity that I encountered and then I call on  GOD, my angels, and the ascended masters to help me to water my spiritual gifts. It is when the spiritual gifts are watered that they grow and expand an further allow me to be of service and value to others. In embracing my spiritual gifts I have been able to move forward with many projects such as my fundraising for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Sunrise. This morning I was at $852 raised so I asked GOD to direct me and guide me so I will reach my goal of $1000. His message was to send our more messages to people asking for donations.  I did just that asking people to visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg3 and as of 6:30 PM today (3/17/2016) I am at $912 raised. In watering the spiritual gifts and allowing GOD to intercede I have been able to manifest some excellent results this week showing me again that when you are connected to GOD great things will happen. In watering our spiritual gifts we show respect to GOD and he allows us to nurture these gifts and grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. Just like a flower that blooms where it is planted when nurtured we also bloom where we are planted when we are nurtured.  It is  when we understand that we are divine children of GOD and God doesn’t make any junk that we can connect with our inner divinity and water our spiritual gifts thus creating a better life for ourselves and those we choose to help.
When we call on the water people to help us nurture our spiritual gifts we tap into our talents and as a result we achieve all that we set out to do. It is when we look at what we are doing and how it is affecting our life that we are able to make changes and thus stay focused, centered, and grounded which in turn propels us to soar to heights we never imagined. The greatest days of our lives are the day we are born and the day we discover why. When we discover our why and we begin to water our spiritual gifts we are able to tap into our inner divinity and live a life of purpose. When we stop worrying what other people will think and we make a mind, body, soul connection by watering our spiritual gifts we create a oneness consciousness that allows us to connect with others on a positive vibration frequency that creates a positive shift in the world around us. When we find our power and step into it by watering our spiritual gifts we are able to make positive changes in our life that brings us peace, love, joy, and prosperity.

As you water your spiritual gifts you will begin to see miracles all around you and you will gain a new appreciation for the connection that you have with GOD. I have come to understand that if GOD brought me to it GOD will bring me through it. I have come to learn to listen to GOD’S messages and act accordingly as he will put you in situations that allow you to prosper yourself and thus prosper others.

Spiritual Awakening: We Are One!!!

 One day when the world has a spiritual awakening we will all realize that we are one. We are all made in the image of GOD with a divine purpose and calling and must honor and praise GOD and be of service and value to those we come in contact with so that we can create a world that is full of positivism. We muss start by checking our ego at the door and seek ways to improve the lives of others thus improving our own lives personally, professionally, and spiritually.  One day we will see only positive things being reported on the news and people beginning to help one another. This shift can occur if we all begin to subscribe to Don Miguel Ruiz’s Four Agreements.

The Four Agreements | Quilting JetgirlImagine if we had these four agreements plastered all over our schools, in our government buildings, and in public places and started a movement to create more positivism in our world. Imagine of we started to look beyond the outer and into the inner and saw people as divine children of GOD and began to interact with people and finding ways to help each other. What if we put all of our preconceived notions and judgments aside and started getting to know people on a cellular level and connecting with positive vibrations. Things would get easier and brighter.

Each day we all have an opportunity to make things easier and brighter our actions can create an avalanche of positivism that leads to hope and healing.  each day we wake up we should ask ourselves what can I do to add value to someone else’s life. By helping others and being a lifter you will be lifted. When we realize that times are changing and we must be more loving and compassionate our world will change.

Spiritual Awakening: Ducking Off!!!

Today as I was waling to my car there were several ducks surrounding my car and I immediately began to think how great it is to be free to roam where you want and duck off. In my community we have a large lake where the ducks can find respite from the heat and simply do what ducks do. I unlocked the car and started the engine and waited for the ducks to safely move out of the way. As I watched the ducks I noticed that several waited for the one lagging behind to catch up. Once I knew they were out of harms way from me backing out of my space I backed out of the space and started to think about the innate compassion these animals have and how they look out for one another.  As I drove away I began to wonder what the ducks symbolized in the spiritual realm and  I found out that ducks are symbolic of emotions, as they are associated with the water element. They help in reminding one to take care of their emotional self, to nurture, and be easy on the spirit. They represent being able to handle your emotions with grace and strength.  I  also found out  that these ducks teach one to trust their instincts about others and to  align yourself with those that have a kind spirit, fostering healthy relationships. I then began to reflect on all the times the duck has appeared as an important element in my life.  When I was a student at Hofstra University from 1983- 1987 we had one of our characters as a Duck representing the ducks that were know to gather around Long Island. I was selected to dress as The Hofstra Duck on several occasions for events ranging from visiting children at the hospital to sporting events. As I reflect back on that time I now began to grasp how this all relates to my spiritual journey.

  It all started to make sense as ducks are connected to feminine energies, the astral plane
and emotions through their connection with water. Ducks remind us to drink deeply from the waters of life. Find comfort in your element and with those of like mind and spirit. Ducks teach you how to maneuver through the waters of life with grace and comfort. Psychologist and therapists often have Ducks as a totem, assisting them to help others move through emotional tangles. As I reflected on the many times that I donned The Hofstra Duck Costume and the joy it brought to others while giving me a sense of purpose I began to further understand the spiritual awakening process and the messages and their meanings that are being sent to me through the ducks.

On of the football teams I follow is the Oregon Ducks. I started following them years ago because I liked there fast paced way of  playing offense. As I look back on why I choose to follow this team I realized it was because of the fast paced action of their team and the innovation of their head coach and how the team seemed to play with a passion and purpose. Though The Oregon Ducks haven’t won a National Title yet they have  competed and shown fans how determination and hard work can help you to make a mind, body, soul connection. They have taught me to detach from the outcome and to always do your best.

Spiritual Awakening: Spread The Sunshine!!!

As I was emceeing The Florida Initiative For Suicide Prevention 5k Hugs For Hope  event today (5/9/2015) I saw a shirt worn by one of the teams that read Spread The Sunshine. This became the theme as I announced the runners finishing, which then turned into doing shout outs as people would tell me the runner’s name and I would build them up and encourage them. I then had the opportunity to deliver a message of HOPE before giving out the medals. After handing out the medals and waiting for my payment many people came up to me and complimented me  on how great my message was. One woman told me that my comment about the two things that matter in life  are if you lived your life with joy and if your life brought joy to others moved her to tears. As I arrived at Starbucks I put out my Oracle Cards to see if it would stimulate conversation and help to make connections thus creating a positive shift and encouraging people to spread the sunshine.

Inside all of us is a divine energy that allows us to spread our inner sunshine and thus we can light up the world and make an effective change. As I emceed the event today I challenged the crowd to meet someone they didn’t already know. I then went to Starbucks and put this into practice and I met a record producer and we had a great conversation and he told me to give him a call. When you reach out and spread your sunshine you put out an energy that radiates to others to let them spread their sunshine. In making the mantra I will spread my sunshine into a daily anthem you will begin to see opportunities present themselves that will allow you to grow personally and professionally.  It is when we use the lessons of the ascended masters to awaken spiritually that we are able to tap into our inner divine sunshine and answer our calling by taking action to be of service and value to others. In committing to spread the sunshine you put yourself  in a position to come alive and help the community. In helping the community you begin to help yourself.
