Spiritual Awakening: Follow Your Heart!!!

As you experience a spiritual awakening it is important to stay connected to GOD with the intention of following what GOD puts in your heart. As you begin to take action by following your heart you will find that you attract more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. As I was getting dressed today (4/12/2018) I chose to put on my purple beat cancer sneakers. Something told me to make this choice and the choice to follow my heart and not question the decision paid off in a big way as there seemed to be magic in the sneakers for I went out collecting for The 2018 American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of Sunrise and had success. IN taking action and following your heart and vibrating on a high level you will find that you experience more bliss and abundance in your life.  Later in the day I received a text about a paid gig but I was a bit apprehensive about taking the gig so I followed my heart and turned it down. Sometimes you just have to follow your heart and let things flow as GOD has planned them out for you. In listening to GOD’S messages and becoming heart centered you will find that you will create more happiness in your life. In following your heart and staying calm in all situations and keeping your ego in check you will find success. Today I simply made a commitment to follow my heart and allow things to unfold as they may by remembering to be impeccable with my word, not taking anything personally, not making judgements, and always doing my best. As a result I was able to stay centered, focused, and grounded and experience some great encounters. In turning on my heart light I was able to clear some blockages that were stopping me from following my passion.

Spiritual Awakening: What Will Be Your Legacy?

As I scoured through my Facebook News Feed I saw stories about the passing of Louise Hay, a leader in the spiritual and personal development industry and thought wow what a legacy she leaves for all that knew her or were influenced by her. I then read about the passing of Rollie Massimino, legendary basketball coach who will be forever remembered for one of the greatest upsets in NCAA Basketball History as he was the coach of The Vilanova Wildcats Team that beat The Georgetown Hoyas to win The NCAA Basketball Championship. As I sat in reflection I thought about the concept of how people will remember you and what legacy are you creating? In living a life dedicated to being of service and value you will leave a legacy that last long after GOD calls you home. Look at the actions you are taking and make sure they are in alignment with your values and helping you move toward spiritual enlightenment. If you are to leave a legacy of hope and healing you must become an action taker by doing something daily that will move you forward in a positive direction of your goals.

Louise and Rollie shared a commonality and that was caring about people and developing them to their full potential. Louise did this through her books and workshops while Rollie did this through basketball. These two individuals truly exemplified the ideals that service to humanity is the best work of life. Louise’s legacy lives on with the Hay Foundation and Rollie’s Legacy lives on with many scholarships in his name at the various colleges where he coached. What legacy are you creating? How are you using your platforms to help other people excel? When GOD calls you home what will your final sentence read in  your obituary? For me it will say in Lieu of Flowers please make a donation to The American Cancer Society.

Spiritual Awakening:Commit To Having A Great Day!!!

When you are awakened spiritually you begin to see that every day can be beautiful. In committing to have a great day you begin to let go and let GOD and you find your day moving along in a positive manner where you begin to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. Wen you become an action taker instead of an excuse maker you will find it easier to commit to having a great day. I have learned a long my spiritual journey that it is when you look at things in a positive way and take the challenges as an opportunity to learn that you will have a great day. The energy that you bring to the day will determine how your day goes. You have the power to control the outcomes of the day. I suggest that when you awake that you commit to making it a great day and simply allow things to unfold as GOD has planned them for you. It is when you are guided by GOD that you know you will have a great day. Yes things will happen through out the day that may throw you a curve ball. When the curve ball comes simply adjust and knock it out of the park by keeping a positive attitude.  I have come to adapt The Four Agreements to my everyday day life and when I am in tune and practicing these agreements I find that I have a great day.

In practicing these agreements I have found that I vibrate at a high level thus attracting the resource necessary to move in a positive direction of my dreams. In practicing these agreements I have been able to surround myself with people that resonate with my message and truly want to support the endeavors that I am involved with so as to be of service and value to others. In following these agreements I have been able to find success in my efforts with The American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of Sunrise.

Spiritual Awakening: Live Like A Warrior!!!

As you awaken spiritually you begin to see that living life as a spiritual warrior is what your were meant to do so as to shine a light that will illuminate the world.  In becoming a peaceful warrior whose actions are filled with love and compassion you grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. In understanding the idea that you must stand for something or you will fall for anything you begin to strengthen your ability to make a mind, body, soul connection. In taking action to be a spiritual warrior you set things in motion that will attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. In becoming a spiritual warrior and living like a warrior you start to see that the outcomes you are getting in life are related to the energy you are bringing to the tasks you are performing.

Mother Teresa once said if you can not do great things do small things with great love. Mother Teresa was a spiritual warrior who impacted many lives and taught us many lessons of love and compassion. Mother Teresa taught us that each day we can start over and light a fire that will burn bright to light a path for others to walk so that peace, love, and understanding become the way of the day. It is important that we light the flames of hope of healing and keep them burning by becoming peaceful spiritual warriors who share peace, love, joy, and prosperity with others.

Spiritual Awakening: Walking On Sunshine!!!

 During what may seem to be the gloomiest of times in our lives we have the ability to awaken spiritually and create a walking on sunshine mindset. It s when we choose to see the good in all that is happening for us that we begin to evolve personally, spiritually, and professionally.  It is a matter of what we choose to focus on that will determine how far we journey on our spiritual path as we continue to create the life we desire.  I used to look an how many people saw my posts about Relay For Life and wondered why they weren’t donating at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg3 then I shifted to an attitude of gratitude and started to show gratitude for those that did visit the website and donate. It was when I decided that no matter what happens I will have a walking on sunshine attitude and detach from any negative thoughts that enter into my mind. I have learned that those meant to donate will donate and by detaching from the outcome the goal I set will be reached by the action that I take. It is when we change our mindset from limiting beliefs to limitless beliefs that that we begin to get that walking on sunshine feeling that allows us to expand and grow thus making a mind, body, soul connection. In having a walking on sunshine attitude we open up the channels that will lead to us having much peace, love, joy, and prosperity in our lives.  As you awaken in the morning create a walking on sunshine mindset and look at how your day unfolds.

I have found music like this is a great tool to remind us that things will get easier all we have to do is let go and let GOD. I have learned through my own spiritual awakening that if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it.

Spiritual Awakening: Inside Out and Upside Down!!!!

Spiritual Awakening: Inside Out and Upside Down!!!

 

As one begins to awaken spiritual they will realize that there will be many things that turn them upside down and inside out. As they begin to eliminate these things and move forward while taking action not to be turned inside out or upside down they will awaken more and grow in mind, body, and spirit. In life we will see things that are inside out and inside out  and feel there is nothing we can do to change things when in reality you can take action to change things by changing yourself. You can begin to look at things from a different perspective and start sharing your views in a positive manner .  It  is when we look beyond the outer and into the inner that we are able to effect change simply by making a positive shift in our lives.  Sometimes we have to be turned upside down and inside out so that we can get in better touch with our divinity in order to be guided by GOD whose plans for us are far greater than our own.

When we recover from being turned upside down and inside out it is important to work on getting stronger everyday.  This week I was turned inside out and upside down literally and figuratively. On Tuesday the phone rings it is my financial adviser’s office asking if I sent an email requesting a transfer of funds for a substantial amount of money. I replied no to which she said I am glad I din’t just fulfill this order. I said I am too let’s put a note on the account that only verbal instructions from me done via phone or in person by me are to be followed. I had a suspicion of who it was so I confronted them and the response I received further proved to me that you must choose who you work with wisely as many are not as spiritually evolved or in tune as they profess to be. On Thursday after seeing my doctor on Wednesday I had a very bad medical episode which I haven’t had in years as I became severely light headed with the chills so I laid down and went in and out of consciousness. I took this as a sign to slow down and evaluate my personal, professional, and spiritual life. As the chills went away and the headaches subsided and I began to feel better I began to realize that I must not allow myself to be turned inside out and that I must work on getting stronger mentally, physically and spiritually and that I must realize that my happiness is up to me and GOD and that I must work on me before I can help anyone else excel.

These daily missives of God Wants You To Know have helped in my spiritual growth as they serve as a  great reminder that I and all those I come in contact are part of something much larger than ourselves.  Today this is what I received:

 When   we become the person that makes others happy we begin to grow and flourish and thus we create a better understanding of our spiritual calling. In being like Prince Charming and taking action to pursue our goals and dreams with a sense of passion and purpose we set in motion awesome vibrations that resonate with those who can assist us in achieving our vision. When we throw caution to the wind and say regardless of what may happen I am going for it. When we are grateful for the opportunity and detach from the outcome and just simple let things flow we generally achieve a greatness that we could never have imagined.

 

 The other day I went to www.nike.com and through NIKEID designed this sneaker to wear at my Relay For Life. The right side says BEAT and the left side says CANCER. As I was discussing the sneaker and showing people the photo I got the idea to contact NIKE and suggest they make the sneaker available to the general public. Today I took action and called NIKE Customer Service and told the lady about my idea to have NIKE Produce and sell the sneakers and give a percentage of the proceeds to The American Cancer Society Relay For Life. She loved the idea and said she would buy a pair. She took the information and said she would forward it to the right people. She gave me the world headquarters number for NIKE and guess what I called it and was put through to The Community Impact Person. I left her a message. LIke Prince Charming has his quest and pursued it we must have our quest and pursue it with relentlessness as  we can achieve our visions if we take action and eliminate that which is holding us back. People may have told me that I was crazy and NIKE will never go for this. My answer is you don’t know until you take action and ask. Look inside and ask yourself what is it that is stopping me from taking action. My mindset was what is the worst NIKE will say, we are not interested. You never know until you take action.

... Doreen’s oracle cards, including the specialty focus of each cardWhen you are like Prince Charming and have a goal in mind and take action to reach that goal the results are incredible. I was on FACEBOOK a few weeks ago and I reached out to Doreen Virtue for some products to use in a Chance Drawing for my Relay For Life and she referred me to her publicist at Hay House.I emailed the publicist and the publicist ased what i was looking for.My answer was anything you can send. About a week later there was a package at my door with over $800 worth of Doreen Virtue Products. I did the same with Dr. Wayne Dyer and Louis Hay and they send items. I asked Serena Dyer and Sonia Choquette and they sent items. The idea is to be like Prince Charming and seek the connection.  When your vision is clear and the blockages are removed it is amazing what can happen. Again ask yourself what is stopping you from pursuing your quest.

 

Spiritual Awakening: Ways to Be Like Prince Charming!!!

Eliminate Fear by facing everything and rising. Do not allow doubters and naysayers or the negative self talk hold you back. Be a warrior and embrace the adventure that awaits on your spiritual path.
Live with abandon and put you trust in GOD and you will be guided along your path and closer to achieving your vision.  Do not allow what others think or say hold you back.
Remove the shackles and break the chains that may have imprisoned you in the past and stopped you from moving forward in your personal and professional life. Praise GOD for the talents he has given you and use them to achieve your vision. Each day break the chains and say today I will step into my power and achieve greatness then watch what happens.

Spiritual Awakening: I’ve Got Your Manifestation Right Here!!!

Manifestation Quote In the spiritual awakening process it is importance to understand how what we think about we create. As I sat in meditation this morning (1/30/2015) listening to the Chakra Clearing CD by Doreen Virtue I began to feel a sense of calmness and release come over me as I began to understand that with the help of GOD I could bring my thoughts to fruition. After the meditation I sat and I began to do an introspective search as to the way I was going about things and how things were occurring in my personal and professional life. I started to look at how things I had done were manifesting themselves in my life. I started looking at the energy that I was bringing to the events of my life and I realized that when things were challenging I was too attached to the outcome.  I realized that it is great to take action but you must look at how that action will affect others and how it will be perceived. As many of the frequent visitors to this blog know I am very involved with The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton and my passion for raising money to help cancer patients, their friends, and their families runs very high.  The other day I received an email about the signing up of 8 new teams for Relay  and in my excitement did a reply to all as I thought that as a committee it is important that we support one another and celebrate each other. I asked everyone to please focus on getting more teams and to support the following fundraiser.

Hurricane Grill Give Back The event lead(chair) left me a very angry  voice mail and a very scathing email. I took many deep breaths and I politely expressed to him why I did what I did and he took it as me usurping his power. So I told him in the future I will let you handle all communication. The lesson I learned here is that many people are driven by EGO and thus get angry and because of this many be holding themselves back.  He did make it a point to tell me he was a millionaire  and had his own successes.  As part of the spiritual awakening process I have learned to not take anything personally, and to always do my best. When I detached from the situation and realized that I was dealing with someone who did not understand the idea that it is not about power and position but it is about everyone working together for the common good of the event so that we have a successful event. The way to avoid this in the future is to understand that EGO is edging god out and while many will profess to be following a GOD like path one must remember that not everyone who goes to church is pious and upstanding. When we detach ourselves from the outcome we are able to become better manifesters. In many cases we must come alive and alleviate the fear of walking in and speaking our truth so as to be of service and value to the community. In a way I manifested this because I want my fundraiser to be successful.

Spiritual Awakening: Let It Go!!!

 As 2014 fades in the rearview mirror and 2015 begins to appear in the windshield I think of the most important lesson learned through the spiritual awakening process in 2014, Let It Go!!! The greatest action we can take is to let go of people and things that no longer serve us.  As difficult as it may be to severe relationships that no longer serve us it is necessary if we are to move forward in a positive direction of our goals and our dreams thus allowing us to develop spiritually. In letting go we release negativity that may have  created blockages in our personal and professional life thus allowing us to be open to receive more positive experiences in our life. Sometimes we must take a serious look at the people we associate with and see how they enhance our life and what they are doing to lift us. In looking at the people we associate with we can see a lot of ourselves and if we see flaws in them we can look at those flaws as a reflection of ourselves and do something to improve our own flaws so that we can continue to evolve spiritually. Recently I had a situation with someone who committed to making a donation to The American Cancer Society Relay For Life and when asked for the donation he got all defensive and told me via the phone it is out of my hands I lodged a formal complaint against you with The American Cancer Society. I told him are you friggin kidding me over $18.70 when you are the one who made the pledge. This is someone who was pointing the blame on me say I don’t like your attitude instead of  seeing where he contributed to the problem. I was upset that he forged a complaint and then thought really I have raised $1564.82 so far for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton and have  garnered many accolades over my 15 years of fundraising that they will most likely take it from where it came and we will turn the page and move forward. I know I will more than make up for the $18.70 that this man didn’t donate simply by sharing http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2  and having people make donations. In bringing it up here for the last time I am able to let go and put my energy into the positive things that people are doing  for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton.

January 16: Know that no one is capable of making you upset without ...  In letting go of the negative and focusing on the positive like the product donations from Doreen Virtue, Louise Hay, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Serena Dyer, Michael Neil, Sonia Choquette, Joyce Meyer,  Lisa Eva Gold, and World Wrestling Entertainment I have been able to shift my  energy and improve on my vibrational field so as to attract more positive results in my quest to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Spiritual Awakening:Looking Back And Moving Forward!!!

 In the spiritual awakening process one must take a look back in order to move forward.  I always suggest that at the end of the year you do a year in review and reflect on all the good that has happened while also seeing how you  have learned from the perceived bad that has happened.  I recommend that when you look back over the year you remember that the rear view mirror is a lot smaller than the windshield.  As you look back, recall all the great things that occurred in your life remember the feeling that you experience and hold that emotion so that when things get a  bit tough as they sometimes will that you can recall that great feeling and remember how that achievement came to pass or how that happiness was achieved and thus take action to move forward and create more greatness in your life.  In the last 10 years I have always made the Month on December a month of reflection where I hold on to the great things that happened and let go of the challenging things.

One the first things I do to reflect is I put on some soft soothing music get out the note book and begin to write this year I was grateful for……….. This years theses things or events brought happiness to my life…….  This year I faced and overcame these challenges…. In doing this exercise I have  found that I have evolved in my spirituality and as a result have been able to lay a solid foundation to begin the new year in a positive way. As we put 2014 in the rear view mirror  and focus on looking at 2015 we have the opportunity to evaluate that which is serving us and improve upon on it and to eliminate that which no longer serves us.  For those that read this blog you know I collect teddy bears as I was going through some items in my car I cam across a State Farm Teddy Bear and realized that I had no real purpose for keeping it so when the chance came to give it away to a mother with a baby I did and I can tell you it felt great to be able to have a positive reflection and create a positive vibration of kindness. As you look back so that you can move forward look at the small gestures that made a positive impact on your life and the lives of others. The spare change given with love to a Salvation Army Bell Ringer may seem small to you but to the man or women who gets a meal at The Salvation Army Shelter is is huge. Remember it is doing the small things with great love that create the ability to move forward.  As you look back cherish the good things and  remove the bad things.
