Spiritual Awakening: To Thine Own Self Be True!

When you have  a spiritual awakening and you commit to being truthful to yourself by peeling back the onion and getting to your core you will see that your life begins to flow just as GOD has intended. Many times we thwart our spiritual growth because we are trying to impress others and we become something we are not. When this happens we find ourselves allowing EGO, which is edging GOD out, to get in our way. We often get so caught up in worrying about what others will think about us that we stop doing what GOD is guiding us to do and as a result we find ourselves creating hardships for ourselves.  Now is the time to look deep inside of ourselves and to tap into our divinity by being true to ourselves. Don’t be afraid to speak your truth and be honest with yourself and others. Take solace in knowing that is okay to feel angst for the trials and tribulations that we go throw strengthen us and allow us to be true to ourselves. We are taught to visualize what we want and to act as if and this is all well and good if it doesn’t compromise your core beliefs and who you are. It is important to stay centered, focused, and grounded as you take the action necessary to stay true to your self.  In being true to who you are and  finding your purpose you will find yourself attracting more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. In the last 40 years of my life I have had ups and downs and in some cases found myself struggling because I wasn’t being true to who I am thus creating blockages that have slowed the process of evolving personally, professionally, and spiritually.  In order to affect change I found that I had to come alive and detach from outcomes and serve my community and sometimes I had to stand alone. It was in standing for something that I found my calling and have been able to continue to be of service and value to others. The fact of the matter is that I needed to see what I was doing to create the situations I found myself in and were they in alignment with what GOD had planned for me.  I had to take feelings and emotions out of the equation and allow everything to flow the way GOD intended.  One element that has helped me to be true to myself is the element of forgiveness.

Spiritual Awakening: Stop Talking and Start Doing!!!

As you move forward and awaken spiritually there comes a time to stop the talking and take action. In taking action you leave all doubts and fear aside and you are able to move in a positive direction toward your dreams.  When you stop talking and start doing you break down the barriers and clear the blockages that are stopping you from achieving the greatness that you are destined for in this life. So many time we end up making excuses and not taking action  because we listen to our own negative self talk and the naysayers. Now is the time to tell that negative inner voice to shut up and start to erase all thoughts that are holding you back from manifesting the life you desire.  Remember that your words have power so be very conscious of the words you are using and the effects they are having on your life. One way to stop talking and start doing is to speak life.
When you begin to take notice of what you are saying you will begin to see why things are unfolding the way they are in your life.  I hear  many people say I am trying and I refer to YODA from Star Wars saying there is no try you either do or you don’t.  As you continue down your spiritual path take notice of the words you are saying and how they are impacting your life. I recommend that you change your thoughts and your words that are holding you back and making you feel stuck so that you can become unstoppable. Many times when you speak life and you stop talking and you start doing you will find fantastic things happening in your life. You have a power to change your life and the lives of others as you are a divine child of GOD who is being called on to stop talking and start doing.

When you experience a spiritual awakening the first thing you come to understand is that you are a powerful being capable of extraordinary things. The key is to take your words and put them into action. Together we can create a power source that will illuminate the world. We need to stop talking and start doing. It is when you tap into your divine power that you are able to put in motion all things that will assist you in creating a life that you desire.  It is when you stop talking and start doing that you become powerful beyond what you ever imagined.It is when you unleash your power for the world to see that you begin to illuminate the world thus showing people that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations and that service to humanity is the best work of life. Stop listening to all the noise that is holding you back and start doing and you will see that your life will be filled with peace, love, joy, and prosperity.  The key is to take action and have no regrets.

At the end of the day when it is all said and done it is important to have no regrets knowing you took action and followed your heart.  When you stop talking and start doing  you see that you have no regrets as you conceived things in you mind, believed them in your heart, and achieved them. As I reflect back on some of the things that I took action on I can say I am glad I did the things I did as when it is all said and done I can say I made a positive impact on people’s lives. It is when you decide to move right along and take action that you can look back and have no regrets.

It is when we keep moving right along surrounded by those who lift us up that we can stop talking and start doing. It is when we decide to move right along regardless of obstacles and wrong turns that we set in motion everything needed to create a life filled with bliss and abundance. There will be times when you want to stop and there may be times you want to quit. Do not give in and keep on moving right along.

 

 Do not allow negative thoughts or negative people to stop you from taking action to move forward in a positive direction of your dreams. Remember there are those that take action and those who make excuses which type of person will be?

Spiritual Awakening:Feel The Rhythm!

 It is when you can feel the rhythm and vibrate on a high level that you achieve a spiritual awakening and awareness that makes you unstoppable. It is when we feel the rhythm that we can take action and move in a positive direction toward our dreams. It is when you begin to clear blockages and find clarity in your purpose that you will be in rhythm with GOD and thus create the life that you desire. As you continue to find you stride you will make beautiful music with your message through which ever medium you decide to share your gifts. As you begin to embrace your spiritual calling and adopt anthems and mantras you will find that there may be some obstacles along the way. These obstacles or speed bumps as I call them are put in our path to show us important lessons such as the fact that not everyone is going to resonate with us or agree with the way we do things. As these obstacles come into our path we must stay in the rhythmic relationship with GOD and follow his message understanding the plan GOD has for us is far greater than the plan we have for ourselves.  As we stay connected to GOD and vibrate with the rhythm that he has given us we are able to come alive and further change our personal, professional, and spiritual lives.

There will be many times that we are challenged and taken out of our rhythm. When this happen it is important to remember that you have the music inside of yourself and it is important for you to let it out for the whole world to hear. When someone tries to suppress your music simple detach from that person and move beyond anything that they do to negatively affect you.  The key is to know that you are a divine child of GOD and GOD wants you to be successful. To stay in rhythm put the negative emotions like anger and hate aside and instead be loving and forgiving.

When I have a tough time letting go and finding myself out of rhythm I turn to songs like this one to remind me that sometimes we must forgive people for they do not know what they do. Sometimes we must forgive ourselves for actions that have taken us out of rhythm and get back in tune understanding that  along our spiritual path there will be distractions and challenges  rearing their ugly heads in an attempt to get us out of rhythm. When this occurs take a deep breathe and ask yourself how are you going to stay on your path and create an excellent personal, professional, and spiritual life.

Spiritual Awakening: Leave A Message!!!

As I stood at the podium today to pay my respect’s to Barbara Theodoiou’s son Daniel, who I encountered only a few times over the last 8 years as he battled the heinous disease of addiction, I realized that the world lost a vibrant young man who loved life and showed us all to be compassionate and understanding when we encounter others. As I sat an listened to others speak about Daniel I thought what a message he left us all. He  may have had some very challenging issues but despite all he had been through he remained kind and caring. He may have done some outlandish things because of the stronghold drugs had on him. As Barbara read many of his poem I thought what poignant messages he had to deliver and how unfortunate a young life was lost. Often after a loss we ask GOD why? and we do our best to find a reason. Perhaps GOD has used Daniel for the purpose he had planned and reminding us that it is up to us to deliver messages that are filled with hope and healing so that we will make our world a better place one person at a time.  I was given the honor of being a Pallbearer and as we unloaded the coffin and placed it above the grave preparing it for it’s final rest I began to ask GOD what message he had. As I sat in my car waiting to leave the cemetery the answer came and it was to continue to share a message of positivity and to be of service and value to all those I come in contact with so as to continue to shine my light.

 I have learned through the spiritual awakening process to leave a message that makes people feel like they are appreciated. I have  gone as far as giving thank you notes to the baristas at Starbucks, the tellers at my bank, the cashier at Walmart, and those who donate to my effort to help those touched by cancer who visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 and make a donation. Recently I took my message of showing gratitude to another level when I visited www.tofa.us and bought 5 tokens of appreciation to give out to random people who did somenthing nice for me. If our awakening allows us to come alive and answer our calling to be more compassionate and appreciative to the people who we meet along out path then we improve the lives of others by simple assuming an attitude of gratitude.

Spiritual Awakening: Calling All The Messengers!!!

As I was driving today (2/9/15) and listening to Reach FM this song by Lecrae came on titled Calling All The Messengers and I thought during the spiritual awakening process that is what we need to find, the messengers, so that we can become a messenger and spread a message of faith, peace, love, and prosperity. It is when you walk strong in faith that you can deliver a strong message that will be relevant, entertaining, and resonating and thus help you to move further along your path toward enlightenment. In taking action we are able to get more in tune with our divinity and as a result continue to live a life of purpose. When you wake up in the morning ask how you can be of service and value and when the answer is revealed do everything possible to implement practices that lead you to following the message so that you can walk in your truth and give your message.

As I was writing this entry this is the message I received to share with you today and that is to seek GOD. I have learned that all the answers we need in our life are held by GOD who wants you to be successful. It is his plan not ours that we must follow. We can make a better life for ourselves and others by becoming a messenger. It is through Christ that all things are possible because he strengthens me.  In become a messenger and sharing how GOD has put us in his favor we are able to touch the lives of others while also having our life touched. As I sat taking with my DAD today I was compelled to open up Rev. Dr. Dee Adio-Moses’s book Heal Your Life With Daily prayer and affirmations. The entry for today was about tithing and how when you give you receive. So my DAD and I committed to be givers and t further spread the message about creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays by promoting http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2. My DAD mentioned the idea of not buying Girl Scout Cookies and making a donation instead I said tat is a great idea of you can buy the Girl Scout Cookies and designate them to be sent to someone in the military. The message is that you can still be a giver and help others. In the giving we open up the channels to receive and thus our life is enriched while we enriched the lives of others. DAD  and I then turned to Mary Morrissey’s book The Miracle Minute, which spoke of being of  love and sharing messages in a loving way. DAD left to go about his business and I prepared for my afternoon by playing my meditation music and lighting candles and incense and asking GOD what he had in store for me today. In hearing the message and acting upon the message I have had a productive day so far. It is when we press on with the message that we get great results and thus make the mind, body, soul connection that leads to a oneness consciousness.
