Spiritual Awakening: Rolling Up Changes!!!

As you experience a spiritual awakening you begin to realize that you are going to have to roll up some changes as you can no longer remain stagnate if you want to evolve personally, professionally, and spiritually. When you become an action taker you will find it necessary to roll with the changes realizing that there are certain things that you can not control. I have come to realize that I can only control what I do I can not control the actions of others and it is time to roll up some changes.

serenity prayer words Over the last few days I have continued to recite The Serenity Prayer as I have  come to understand that I can not control the actions of others and I can not let their actions interfere with my quest to be a peaceful warrior. Through the spiritual awakening process I have come to understand that all I can do is be impeccable with my word, not take anything personally, not make judgments, and do my best. In realizing that I need to roll up changes by simply allowing things to unfold as GOD has intended I have been able to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into my life. In making sure I clear blockages that have held me back in the past I have been able to continue on my spiritual path reach certain goals that I have set. In controlling my actions and being of service and value to others I have experienced some great moments in my life and as a result at the end of the day I can say yes I lived my life in joy and my life brought joy to others. In the past I would get mad and allow my anger to rule the day and would be unhappy now I let go and roll up some changes and simply do the best I can with the tools I have and go about making the world a little brighter one person at a time.
In changing your latitude and changing your attitude you will find it easier to roll up some changes. Today (1/24/2018) I sent out an email to people who were involved in The American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of Sunrise. One person wrote back how they weren’t going to be able to fundraise because the business they worked with didn’t have a general manager and they can’t do anything with out a GM. At first I was upset then I realized I can not be responsible for the actions of others and that I just had to continue doing what I was doing for The Relay and let others see  me shining my light and hopefully have them get motivated to do the same. I have come to learn that their are action takers and excuse makers and that If I choose to be an action taker things will work out in the end. As I have started to detach from outcomes and not have expectations I have found it easier to roll up some changes.

Image may contain: 1 personIn rolling up some changes I have had to make some difficult decisions as I needed to make sure the announcing gigs I was accepting were with people who were in tune with my desire to be of service and value. I have had to walk away from some organizations because I didn’t feel valued and in changing my mindset from lack and desperation to abundance and productivity I have been able to roll up some changes that have led to me being in a better place.  I have come to understand that I can not be responsible for what other people do for not everyone resonates with my message of being of service and value and not everyone is ready to be authentic and not everyone is ready to walk in their truth so I must continue to roll up some changes.
Our times are definitely changing and our world needs a spiritual awakening and it needs to begin with rolling up some changes. If you are to change your life you must change the way you look at things and how you react to things. It is important to realize that you can not control the actions of others all you can do is walk in your truth and stay connected to GOD heeding his message and moving forward to co-create the life you desire making sure you roll up some changes along the way.

Spiritual Awakening: Changing The Lock!!!

As I completed a meeting  earlier today (6/29/2016) I had what could be considered another spiritual awakening as I realized that sometime you have to give something up to gain so much more. I was very attached to collecting donations at a special event as was told that the organizers  didn’t want me to do this but that I could collect at other events that they sponsored. I had this big mental lock as I couldn’t understand why the city would say no to this but after a great discussion I changed that mental lock from resistance to acceptance and began to see the big picture.  At the same time I was told that HOOTERS and Twin Peaks could not be endorsed by the 501-c-3 organization that  I was working but that I could do an independent fundraiser as long as I didn’t promote it as this organizations event.  I again was upset as I believe in engaging all those that want to help. I again changed a lock and opened up to where the organization was coming from and decided to simply go with the flow and follow their protocols. I will still be doing a fundraiser with Hooters in October and will  be donating the money to the organization. I learned that sometimes you just have to do things the way others in perceived power want you to  and follow their protocols.

It is when we change our mindset and stop thinking that our way is the best way that we can change our mental locks and grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. I have come to learn through all the spiritual awakenings that we must change our attitudes and latitudes so as to gain a better perspective on how we can live a life of purpose. In many cases you must be willing to change and accept that which you can not change and do the best you can with the tools you have. In changing the locks you remove blockages that may hold you back from becoming a powerful being capable of doing amazing things. Over the years I have come to understand that the way things are and they way things should be are 2 different things. In understanding this I continue to change the mental locks and change the way I do  things.  As I continue to expand my understanding and detaching from outcomes I continue to rise to a new level of spiritual and personal development.

Spiritual Awakening: Changes In Attitudes Changes In Latitudes!!!

As I have been on my spiritual path I have learned that sometimes all that occurs is determined by the energy that we bring to the task at hand. In many cases all we need is a change in our attitude and latitude. In many cases it simply is a matter of taken action and detaching from the outcome and simply  allowing every thing to be guided by GOD. Today (6/28/2015) was a great example of  my spiritual awakening. I was showing my DAD just how easy it is to find events to attend in the community when I typed in City of Sunrise Events 6/28. I found what I thought was a great event being held at The Sunrise Civic Center,a Japaneses Film and Cultural Festival. I drove over to the Sunrise Civic Center and there wasn’t an event, I rechecked the information and guess what it was for 6/28/2014. I was a bit disappointed as I was going to collect donations for Relay for Life. Instead of getting mad and becoming discouraged I found a quiet place to meditate and ask GOD what was next. I received the answer and it was to go to The Starbucks Plaza near La Granja and collect donations. With a positive attitude I took action and I walked into La Granja asking if I could ask the patrons for donations they said yes. Most of the patrons were receptive and donated. I then walked the plaza and asked for donations and many gave. In the past I would have been upset at those who didn’t donate but today I changed my attitude and showed gratitude to everyone regardless if they gave or not. I made a conscious decision that no matter what I would be caring and loving in my approach. One woman even said I am trying to pay my rent and I said eliminate the word try and say I will pay my rent as the use of try will stifle you all the time. In sharing thoughts of positivism and changing my attitude I may just change someone else’s attitude.  I walked into Celebrity Sports and told them that I had been trying to reach them about a position with their store and  I made a quick video to show my voice skills. I have a 2 PM interview tomorrow. Instead of being mad and upset that they didn’t return calls I simply shifted my attitude and did what I do best and that is show people my ability. In shining your light and changing your attitude you change the level of vibration and you create positivism that is illustrated in all you do.
 Regular visitors to this blog  have witnessed many entries ending with Stay Positive!!! I have been signing emails and message with these two words as I strongly believe that we can stay positive and have an attitude of positivism in all scenarios. I even have a FREE HUGS banner that includes words STAY POSITIVE on the bottom that I display whenever I can so as to remind people how showing love and positivism can improve their place in life as they continue to make a mind, body, soul, connection. I have found that by making a commitment to stay positive has enhanced my spiritual journey and allowed me to become more aware and awake to the power that I have inside of me to make each day a positive experience. There will be days where sadness will creep in such as the day of July 5, 2012, the day my mom, Judith Miller, was called home to GOD. Most people would focus how sad her passing and how  how courageous I was for being the one that was there holding her hand when she made her transition. I was sad and a bit angry but I knew that being angry wasn’t going to change anything. So I changed my latitude by going downstairs to my car and grabbing my Relay For Life Hoodie as I was shivering and I cried and then I composed myself and I realized that my mom was already sending me messages. When things are going rough for me I will find a quiet sacred place to sit and meditate and communicate with my mom who directs me with the help of GOD. It is at these times that I realize that sometimes a change in latitude and attitude is all it takes.

Spiritual Awakening: Making Changes!!!

 

 I had today (3/7/2015) all planned out and then all my well laid plans went astray. I went to the barber shop and my barber was not there, he’ll be back at 10 AM tomorrow. I went to the movie theater and it was closed for renovations. It was at that moment that I noticed a car show going on and I was wearing a Relay For Life Shirt and had a collection canister in the car. I took a deep breath as I have learned through the spiritual awakening process and asked GOD what I should do. The answer was change plans and solicit donations for The Relay for Life. I did just that. After collecting donations I asked GOD what next? The answer was to go to Starbucks and work on follow up for Relay For Life. I now sit at the Starbucks working on this blog entry with one of my Tokens of Appreciation from www.tofa.us to give out. I have a n idea of who will get today’s but as today showed me don’t be to dependent on your plans as they will change. I have learned long my spiritual path that GOD has the master plan and he will direct you. Sometimes one has to detach from the plans you made and allow GOD to direct you to take the action he seeks you to take. many times as we experience our spiritual awakening we need to simply let go and let GOD. In making plans one has to also agree to be flexible if those plans go astray. In consulting with GOD, Jesus, our angels, and the ascended masters we will receive the messages to direct our actions that create the vibrations that lead to our lives being filled with peace, love, joy, and prosperity. many times our plans do not fit into our calling for the day and GOD sets things in motion for us that are more aligned with our calling and our life’s purpose. In accepting the fact that we must adapt and change according to what GOD has in store we create a greater oneness consciousness that allows us to come alive and help our community while also helping ourselves.

 Many times GOD makes changes to our plans to show us a better way. When we trust in GOD everything works out and many times they work out for the better.  When we detach from the plans and we understand that GOD has better things in store for us we begin to attract more positive experiences in our personal and professional lives. When we seek GOD’s direction and remove our emotions from the equation we are able to move forward in  the positive direction of our dreams. The fact remains that GOD will show the way you must be willing to follow the path he has set out and not get so set on your plans that you allow disappointment and the negative energy sucking emotions like anger creep into to your life as they lessen the vibrational levels that bring peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life.

Spiritual Awakening: Times They Are A Changing!!!

As relevant today 38 years after this song was performed in 1966 it is important to understand that through out the spiritual awakening process the times will continue to change. As the times change it is up to us to adapt and become more self aware so we can make the changes to thrive. It is when we awaken spiritually that we are able to make changes. Today for those that watch the news you are bombarded by tragic events as media manipulation has led many to become sheep and not understand that every individual is a spiritual person with a power to affect change. Many of these sheep are sheep only because they have not been awakened yet. many are sheep because of the fear that they hold and have not realized that the world becomes a better place when individuals share a common goal of being of service and value to one another. I often think what would happen if we all shut off the TV, radio,  and social media for a week and began to interact and effectively communicate with one another?  When was the last time you knocked on a neighbors door just to say hello and see if they needed anything?  The world today has so many people that are self serving that they have lost their way and we are being inundated with the sad upsetting stories for the media is being used to control us.  It is time to change  and to awaken and to become the powerful individuals that we are that when we work together for a common goal things change for the better. I hear people complain everyday about things an when asked what action they are taking to change them I hear oh I can’t do anything. I tell them yes they can they can become engaged in the community and begin to change the world one person at a time. Some people feel powerless and they do not understand that they have a  divine power inside them that when connected no one can conquer.

It is when we reach down inside of ourselves and discover our own divinity that we will affect positive change. We will question why GOD does what GOD does for that is human nature, however their is always a reason. Recently I questioned why GOD would take a 15 year old boy from his family and call him home after a hit and run accident?  I could find justifiable answers  as it was a wake up call to all of us to take better care of the kids or maybe it was done to rally a community to become stronger and start talking to one another. The rationale answers and the humanistic answers all make sense however the true answer lies with in the spiritual teachings and the messages that lie with in. The answer I received when I asked GOD was to show people to value life. Many times we buy into the media manipulation that reports on cops being killed, which is tragic but they don’t tell of the 1000’s of cops who made it home safely after their shift. If we are truly to affect change we must look at the balance that is out there in our everyday life. I remember asking GOD why he took my mom on July 5, 2o12 and I was told so she wouldn’t suffer any longer and to use you fro a purpose of being love and showing love while helping cancer patients and their families. In understanding the messages I have been able to make effective changes in the lives of those I come in contact with.

There are many great tools available to us to help change the world however if we are to change the world we must first change ourselves.  In our transformational process that is led by our spiritual awakening we will not only transform our life but we will inspire others to transform theirs.  It is stated that the journey of 1,000 miles starts with the first step so it is time to take that first step and see what changes occur along our path.
