Spiritual Awakening:Stop Majoring In The Minor!

As we embrace the spiritual awakening process we need to stop majoring in the minor and look at the big picture. This week there was made about President Trump not allowing transgenders to enlist for military service. While this is a major issue the truth of the matter is that I really haven’t interacted with many transgenders in my lifetime and when I have I have been kind and compassionate remembering that it is not my place to judge. All over Facebook I saw people getting upset with this and arguing and I thought what our country needs is to stop majoring in the minor and to have a spiritual awakening recognizing that we are all divine children of GOD and we should not be judged by appearance but by our actions. It is time for a dose of spirituality so that we can stop worrying about the small stuff and remember it is all small stuff. The rule of the day needs to be kindness and love in all that you do. The finger pointing and excuse making needs to stop. It is time that we all understand that we a re more alike than we are different. I recommend that you stop watching all the negative news and get out in the community and get to know the people in your community that we stop with the chip on our shoulder and our entitlement attitude and start asking ourselves how do we help others to become more loving and compassionate. The discussions that have come across Facebook with people calling each other names because you have a different point of view does not help to enhance your personal, professional, or spiritual life instead it allows for the negative influences to permeate your thoughts thus stopping you from creating the life you desire. Think about what you are focusing on.

Spiritual Awakening: Miami Dolphins Need A Dose Of Spirituality!!!

 

 Since moving to South Florida in 1972 and having Earl Moral as my youth optimist football coach I have been a fan of The Miami Dolphins. In a brutal sport like football it is very difficult to carry your spirituality onto the field of play. The events of the recent week between Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito has brought to light for all players to awaken spiritually. When a player has a spiritual awakening they begin to realize that they are connected to the team and thus they have a responsibility to recognize the divine in each other despite the fact that they play a violent game where the objective is to knock your opponent off the ball and score or to stop your opponent from scoring.  Today a dose of spirituality is needed for the Miami Dolphins so they can regroup and come together as a cohesive unit and put a winning effort forward.

 Right now The Dolphins are far away from the glory days that had them winning Super Bowls and consistently in the playoffs. The teams of the 70’s and early 80’s had what is called chemistry. I like to call it a spiritual connection where they understand that everyone was divinely connected and when they worked in unison and came together as one they won. There was something special about the teams of Griese, Czonka, Warfield, Morris, Kick, Scott, Anderson, and Bonocotti.  Those teams seemed to respect each other and knew that they were all part of something bigger than football. Today’s players seem to care only about themselves as illustrated by the recent incident between Incognito and Martin. Many have said but that is the culture of The NFL. I say it is time to change this culture as it is leading to many issues and make players understand that their actions are now magnified in the press and that it is time to make a mind, body, soul connection and start to lift each other up to excel as a team. An awakening is definitely in order as these players have been given a calling that is much larger than football.

Spiritual Awakening: Building The Motivational Pyramid!!!

Maslow’s Hierarchy Of Needs. Many of us get as high as Esteem Needs and stop never having the spiritual awakening to become self-actualized. To do this we must go deep inside and find our true calling and purpose. We must tap into the creative being that lives inside of us and begin to understand that we are divine children of GOD and his plan is bigger that we can imagine. In an effort to build the motivational pyramid we must become action takers by understanding the messages that are being given to us.

Spiritual Awakening: The Motivational Pyramid Blueprint!!!!

 When building  anything you need a blueprint so that you can see what the finished product will look like. The same goes with the spiritual awakening plan as you begin to build your motivational pyramid.

The first level is self motivation for you are the only one that can create what you desire. Start by stating I am motivated to______________________________. I have the power to create. I will move positive in the direction of my desire. Make a list of what motivates you and then create the goals that are realistic and attainable  and post them where you can see them. A great tool is to laminate a business card with your daily, weekly, and monthly goals with your action steps so that you can carry them with you to keep you self motivated.  There will be set backs, however for every set back there is progress to be made. A great way to keep motivated is to keep doing positive things for yourself and being grateful for the positive things. Sometimes all it takes to be self motivated is to change the words we use from I have to or I need to I get to. This small shift changes the way you look at things and creates a positive vibration and a good feeling that you strive to repeat.

Spiritual Awakening: 12/12/12 Another Day Or A Day Of  Awakening?

 As I awoke today I began to ponder the meaning of 12/12/12 and realized that it is another power energy day where certain portals will be made available to those who are on a spiritual path to become more enlightened and thus to continue their expansion and their quest for transformation so as to positively impact the world. Tapping into the number of positive energy fields today will help you to become an action taker where your anthem will allow you to have an awakening and to follow your calling. Today can be a great day to affect change in your personal and professional life as you begin to come alive and get involved with your community. Those reoccurring dreams and messages can now be acted upon with the confidence that you will be emotionally ballanced and the outcomes will be favorable. You feelings will be powerful and more easily understood today.One way to create more positive energy today is to engage in fellowship by sharing encouraging words with all those you come in contact with. A smile will go along way in tapping into the positive energy of today. The way you react to the flow today will help in answering the question is today just another day or is a day for awakening?
