Spiritual Awakening: It’s Beginning To Feel  Like Christmas!

As I ventured out on Friday (12/13/13) to do my Christmas Shopping I felt another spiritual awakening come over me. It was an awakening that Christmas can be an everyday occurrence as we all have the ability to give a gift. It doesn’t have to be a monetary gift or a material gift it can be a gift of spirit, a kind word, a random act of kindness, a smile, or just letting someone go ahead of you in line.  It is when we adopt the anthem to take action and come from a place of kindness and love that our spiritual channels are open up and thus we receive gifts that enhance our personal and professional life because we took the time to enhance the personal and professional lives of others.

 As I strolled through The Forest of Angels Project at The Promenade at Coconut Creek I experienced another spiritual awakening as I witnessed 22 Christmas Trees decorated by sponsors who designated a charity for their Christmas Tree to represent as this project gives money to the top 3 trees who garner the most votes. To vote on a tree you make a donation of at least $1 and place the number of the Christmas Tree you like on the ballot you receive ( a raffle ticket) you vote and then place your ticket in the chance drawing box of the prize you would like to win. My awakening was that more people are doing good than bad and we need to capitalize on the feeling and spirit of Christmas and make it a daily practice. maybe not with trees or lights or presents but with actions that will show people that they are divine creatures of GOD with a purpose and thus everyday it can feel like Christmas.

Spiritual Awakening: Thanksgiving, Christmas, ad Hannukah, Taking Out The Trash!!!!!

             

As the holiday season approaches  it is a great time for introspection and internal and external cleansing. As you create an attitude of gratitude you can create a world that serves you better. The best gift you cna give yourself this holiday season is the gift of self awareness and awakening.  Giving yourself the gift of love allows you to take out the trash and end attachments to people or things that no longer serve you. It is somethimes the hardest thing to realize that some people in your life no longer serve you in your quest for personal and professional growth. Many times it is a family member or someone who came into your life as a result of a decission that someone else made and you had no control over the situation at the time. As you got older and wiser and the person who made the decission passed you begin to realize that the only power this person has over you is the power you allow them to have. When you choose to take out the trash and interact on your own terms things improve.

Spiritual Awakening: The Circle Of Life

As I listened to the song Circle of Life from the movie, The Lion King, I was reminded about some of the occurances over the last several weeks, which have reminded me to cherish each moment and to enhance people’s lives by simply being a positive force for them to turn to. The last 4 weeks have been a true awakening with the passing of Kathy Dedek, my mother, and  the mudslide that took Dr. Lynn Migdal’s home in British Columbia along with her ex-husband passing as a result, her two daughters are still missing and we hold out hope that they will be found alive.

As I sat and questioned GOD the answer came as it is the circle of life.  As I began to meditate on this I began to realize that we come into this world as dust and we leave this earth as dust. The circle of life is an easy concept to grasp however the questions many as we live our lives as spiritual beings having a human experience. Many times it just takes a moment of introspection to understand  how we are all intertwined in the universe and that the circle of life does not end in the passing of  someone it continues for them in the spiritual world, where they can be of service to those left behind.  The signs that I have seen in the last 10 days since my mother’s passing have shown me that she is okay and doing things from the other side. Her legacy of sharing and caring liveson in my deeds an each day I find a way to hold a sacred space for her in my mind and my heart. She may not be with me physicallly, however the signs that I have encountered truly show me that she is looking out for me.

Spiritual Awakening: How is Your Flow?

This blog entry was inspired by a minor set back that occured this morning. I showed up to work with a client who had booked me for 3 days only to find out she wasn’t able to work with me this week.  At first I was very upset, then I took a deep breath and realized everything will work out and I stayed in the positive flow.    As I was writing this the phone rang and it was my client and we came to an agreement. It is amazing what can happen when we just go with the flow and let things happen. The lesson learned is to breathe and slow down and allow the good to prevail.

 Opening the chakras and being open to receive will increase your flow.

Spiritual Awakening: Understanding Flow

Once we realize that everything is energy we begin to create the ability to harness the energy for good and thus increase our flow. The biggest step is to ubderstand the flow of energy and how it is affecting our state of being in  making the mind, body, soul connection.

 This energy pyramid shows that the greatest energy we have is our spiritual energy, our connection to source and those surrounding us.  It is when we are spiritually energized that all the other aspects of energy allows for positive flow. The key is to get centered and balanced and look for the good in the energy field. Today the client cancelled, which is disappointing, howver it freed me up to do a blog entry and seek some other opportunities and follow up on a few projects.
