Spiritual Awakening: Hold Fast Your Dreams!!!

      Through the spiritual awakening process you will find that you can tap into your inner divinity and manifest your dreams thus allowing you stay motivated to be of service and value to others. Through out my spiritual journey I have been fortunate to have many of my dreams turn into reality. Most recently I was the PA Announcer for The Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs Football Team and they won a State Championship in 2020 and team I announce for win a championship and I was given a championship ring which fulfilled a dream to have a team I announce for win a championship and for me to have a ring. The day I received the ring I wore it to an event and was able to brag about being the PA Announcer. The memories of that experience fuels me to hold fast to my dreams. I look forward to making more dreams come true. In the course of my awakening I have  come to realize that it is important to share your dreams and show gratitude to those who support your dreams.

Sources Of Wisdom Book 2 by Jim Dupre, Timothy Michael Ricke, Jonathan Jdogg lederman, Paperback | Barnes & Noble®Another dream of mine was to become a published author which became a reality when I became a featured author in Sources Of Wisdom Book 2 which then led me to be a featured author in Sources Of Wisdom Book 3. I also have had my poetry published on line at www.poetry.com and have won a few editor’s choice awards. This all came about by taking action and realizing that if you are to turn your dreams into reality you must put aside all the doubters, haters, and naysayers and believe in yourself.  As I reflect on all the dreams that I have had that have come true I realize that regardless of how tough things may get you must be strong and hold fast your dreams. Do not allow others to hold you back simply take positive steps to bring your dreams to fruition.

Poem: Dreams

As you grow personally, professionally, and spiritually you will find that a major contributor to your growth is how you act upon your dreams. When you have a dream and you focus your vision on that dream you will find that your dream will manifest as the universe will conspire to give you the resources needed to turn that dream into reality. I have always said to write your dreams down with action steps to bring them to fruition for if it is in sight it is in flight however if it is out of sight it is out of mind. One great tool is to make a vision board and to understand that the possibilities are endless you just have to believe. When you change your mindset and create a belief system that allows you to step into your power so you can achieve the greatness that is your birthright you will find that you attract more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. There may come situations that create blockages however you can clear the blockage by knowing that if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it allowing you to dream.

       Take time to dream today and write your dream down so that you can face everything and rise. Your dreams are sacred to you so give them the attention that they deserve so that you can create the life you desire. When things seem difficult and challenging simply take solace in knowing that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens you. As I look back at the 55 years I have spent on this earth I can recount many times that I have dreams realized and sometimes not having a  dream come true held a valuable lesson of the fact that GOD had other plans for you. I remember the years of 1986-1987 I was a student at Hofstra University and I was a big fan of the football team and I applied to be part of The Homecoming Court and was not selected. At first I was disappointed because it was a dream to be part of the pageantry but after a while I realized that I could still support the team and be part of homecoming in my own way. I managed to make a bigger impact as I did fundraising for The Booster Club and attended all the games that year and even had a column In The Hofstra Chronicle. Though all dreams may not come true just following them holds lessons that will help to clear blockages so that you can have other dreams come true. It is your time to become a dream weaver today. Spiritual Awakening: Spark It Up And Pass It Along!!!

It is when we spark up our creativity and take action that we enhance the spiritual awakening process. On of my favorite exhibits at EPCOT is Journey Into Imagination as it reminds us just how powerful we are and how important it is to collaborate with others to bring our visions to life. It taking action on a vision that you conceive in your mind and believe in your heart you will manifest what you are seeking. In imagining and then bringing that idea to life you also come alive and find that you are expanding in your personal, professional, and spiritual life. How many times have you been told by others that it is impossible or your idea is crazy and you didn’t pursue your idea only to see someone else implement it and have success? How many times have you let negative self talk sabotage you and stop you from taking action? There will always be doubters, naysayers, and haters but do not allow them to rent space in your head. Through the spiritual awakening process I have learned there are no bad ideas and that you never know until you take action. In taking action and putting your idea put there you will see what is working and what needs improvement. In using your imagination and making sure you write things down as they come to you it will allow you to take action when ready. I recommend that you get a legal pad and  carry it with you and keep it with in arms length at all times so you can record your ideas and then take action to bring them to life. I have a friend who carries a small tape recorder with him every where he goes and when he has an idea he speaks it into the tape recorder and then when he has 15 minutes he listens to the playback and thus is able to begin the process of taking action on the idea.  Simply imagine and then take action to bring the vision to life.

Imagine if everyone began to subscribe to the belief that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations what a world we would have. If we simply began to understand that we are all divine children of GOD and that GOD has great plans for us we would become more aware and awake thus allowing us to make a mind, body, soul connection which would lead us to manifesting the life we desire. Remember that you are where you are today in the place that GOD has planned you to be and everything is the way it is supposed to be at this time. It is when you can visualize and act as if that you will begin to understand more clearly your spiritual awakening.

Spiritual Awakening: The Elimination Game!!!

As you awaken more and more spiritually you will find yourself playing the elimination game which primarily removes people, place, and things that no longer serve you. The hardest part of playing the elimination game is letting go and letting GOD. In the last few weeks I have found myself taking a step back from things that were not serving my greater good. I left my TV Show, The Anything Bucket, which can still be seen on www.wrpbitv.com on Tuesday at 6:30 PM as after 3 years it was time to pursue other interests. I will be forever grateful to Wayne Filowitz and the staff at WRPBiTV who allowed me to have a platform where I could be of service and value to others. It was a difficult choice to eliminate the TV Show from my plate as it was an important part of providing a voice for people. I learned so much in the 3 years that I was with WRPBiTV and was able to meet some great people who became lifters. Last week I told the chairman of an event that I was simply going to be a participant in the event and do my best to fundraise. This was brought about as I decided to focus a bit more on me and my personal, professional, and spiritual development. As a result of eliminating some of my activities I have been able to focus on my work with Sinbad Sports and thus begin to do the things necessary to allow myself to be of service and value to others.  When you play the elimination game ask yourself how does this serve me and how is this helping me to become the best version of myself? If you have to hesitate or think about it eliminate it.
As you begin to play the elimination game you will begin to find ways to stand out. In eliminating the people, place, and things that no longer serve you you will find that you will evolve personally, professionally, and spiritually. Some times it is simply a matter of distancing yourself from the people who no longer encourage you or lift you up. When you stop worrying about what others will think and you begin to face everything and rise you will see that you are standing out and more and people will be attracted to you that support your endeavors.  It is when you stand out and take action to eliminate fear that you move forward in a positive direction of your dreams.

Spiritual Awakening: Turning Dreams Into Reality!!!

 

 As part of the spiritual awakening process I have learned that messages will come in all forms at all times of the day. Today as I stepped out of my shower I found myself singing Impossible Dream and this led me to think of the importance of dreams and how they often manifest during the day. As I got dressed I kept thinking that though some dreams may seem impossible it is our quest to chase them and shine our light brightly for others to see so that we can become the dream weavers and action takers to improve our world and thus enhance our personal and professional life.

When was the last time you boarded the dream weaver train? Each time I sit in meditation I look at it like cashing in the ticket to board the dream weaver train. My conductor of course is GOD, the ticket taker and engineer is JESUS, the staff on the dream weaver train includes Mother Mary, Arch Angel Raphael, Arch Angel Michael, and all of their associates who watch over me.  As the dream weaver train stops at its final destination I breathe and disembark and write down any messages that were sent to me. The journey aboard the dream weaver train is taken forward into the daily journey of being of service and value to others while making the mind, body, soul connection.

Spiritual Awakening: The Impossible Dream!!!

 

 How many times have you stated your intentions during your spiritual awakening only to be told oh that is a pipe dream or that is an impossible dream? How many times have you given in to your own fears or the thoughts of others only to think what might have been or what could have been?  It is at times like this that we must summon our own inner Don Quixote and get in tune with our own divinity so that we can pursue what many may consider an impossible dream.

How many times have you not take a shot because you thought you might miss it only to realize that if you take the shot there is a 50% chance that you will make it.  I remember hearing on the radio an interview about The Lingerie Football League, now Legends Football league. I thought it would be great to be a PA Announcer for the local team, The Miami Caliente, so I looked up the league and contacted them about The PA Announcer Position. They Responded and I did an audition on the phone and I was hired. The first night was like a dream come true as I sat in the announcing area of this big arena and I had my own dressing room. I did the game and was paid for it and then invited to do other games and Lingerie Bowl 7. It was something deep inside that told me to go for it and ignore the naysayers and the doubters. As a result of this successful experience I have learned to chase the impossible dream and to continue to put myself out there. I have learned through taking action that most of the time you obtain desirable results. The dream has run across some obstacles like a team hiring me for 4 games and only using me for 1 or a team hiring me and then not paying me, however I have learnt from each experience and I keep moving forward in the positive direction of my dreams.

Spiritual Awakening: Unleashing Your Inner Don Quixote!!!

 One of my favorite Operas/musicals is Man Of La Mancha. The character, Don Quixote, was fighting windmills. The windmills represented the inner demons that he was facing. As I listened to the music and began to understand the message being deliver I discovered just like Don Quixote many of us are experiencing a spiritual awakening. We are waking up and becoming aware that we have greatness inside of us and that our light is meant to shine bright and thus we are becoming action takers. We are beginning to adopt anthems and thus unleashing our inner Don Quixote and showing others that they can step into their greatness and become who they desire to be. Don Quixote was doubted by many, chastised by others, however he stuck to his mission and taught us about pursuing dreams and being a leader in our personal and professional lives.  In awakening we unleash that inner Don Quixote and we leave all the doubters and naysayers behind as we pursue the purpose that we have discovered. It is when we fully commit to our quest that we begin to understand our calling and thus enhance our personal and professional lives while being of service and value to others. A change occurs when you come alive and embrace the spiritual awakening that you are experiencing. There will be battles that are won and battles that are lost and each one will teach us valuable lessons along our path.

Don Quixote had his loyal servant Sancho to encourage him and move him in the direction of his dreams. Who do you have in your circle that is lifting you? How are you being a lifter?  A strong belief in your self and others will propel you positively along your spiritual path towards enlightenment thus allowing you to experience the joy that comes from being surrounded by encouragers and lifters while also becoming a lifter.

 Many will doubt your dreams and do what they can to discourage you. My advice is do not listen to them and unleash your inner Don Quixote and pursue the dream. To pursue your dream takes courage. There are many stories about those who did not let the naysayers win and pursued their dreams and as a result have found joy, an inner peace, and abundance. Some will say oh they were lucky, others will say oh that can never be me, while others will say if they can do it I can do it.  The journey starts when you are committed to following your dream. It is when you write it down in the form of I will and start to take action steps towards that goal.

Spiritual Awakening: Following Your Passion!!!

 

 

Today I was reflecting on the time I met and interviewed Irene Cara. In 1980 at age 15 I watched her in The Movie Fame and said I am going to meet her one day and guess what in  2005 during The 25th Anniversary Party for  The Movie Fame at The Fort Lauderdale Film Festival I met and interviewed her for The Happy Herald.  As I reflected on this experience the topic for today’s entry came, Follow Your Passion. How many times have people not done so and have regrets because they didn’t take action.  If you are truly passionate about something take action to follow that passion because Passion + Action = Success. Do not let people tell you that you are not good enough. There are so many examples of people who have followed their passion despite being told they weren’t good enough. Imagine what the gentleman who told The Beatles they weren’t ready for a record deal must be thinking today. If you are passionate about something take the steps to follow that passion and you will find success.

 When I told people that I was going to meet Irene Cara one day they thought I was a bit off, but then again I have never really fit into anyone’s box. This photo hangs on my wall in my house signed by Irene to remind me that dreams do come true and if you put the proper energy into your passion more dreams will come true. What is your passion? Spiritual Awakening: Are You A Dreamweaver or Dream Stealer

Are You A Dreamweaver or Dream Stealer ?

How many times have some one approached you with their vision and you thought wow what a concept or that will never work?  How many times have you verbalized your feelings not realizing the impact it would have on that person. Do you consider yourself a dreamweaver, a person who encourages and uplifts people when they share their dreams with you regardless of how far fetched it may seem, or are you a dream stealer, someone who puts down the idea and finds all the reasons it won’t work. As a business and life advisor I like to be a dreamweaver and help people follow their vision. Being a dreamweaver has many rewards one of which is seeing the progress and growth in someone you helped with their vision.

One of my favorites by Langston Hughes that I use often on my radio show, which can be heard on Monday from 7-8 PM EST at www.blogtalkradio.com/thirdeyeradio1, where we talk about emowerment and inspiration with our guests, if you can not tune in live all the shows are archived. I also use this to be a dreamweaver on my Tantalizing Tuesday Teleclasses, which can be heard at 1-605-477-2100 pin 131099 from 7-8 PM EST, where again I have guests that are dreamweavers helping other people excel talk about a myriad of subjects. I am one who walks his talk as I consider myself a dreamweaver.
